We had a fabulous stay in this architecturally stunning property. Location is excellent; short drive to old Santa Fe (or nice walk). The terrace has extraordinary long Mountain Views; lovely for morning coffee and a late afternoon glass of wine. Very comfortable living spaces. We loved the property in every way. Absolutely perfect for 2 couples. Online photos are accurate.

This property worked wonderfully for our family of 5. The home location was close to the plaza for daily visits but allowed for spectacular mountain and city views. Our family enjoyed the stars while relaxing in the hot tub and the beautiful home architecture contributed nicely to our first New Mexico visit.

This unique home has everything anyone needs to make their vacation special and memorable. We chose to stay in the guest bedroom, which has views of Santa Fe from its’ elevated location. Sleep with the shades up to enjoy the night lights and spectacular sunrises. There’s also an elevator from the garage level up to the main floor…very convenient for getting the groceries in. This is just a spectacular home, you won’t find a cooler place in Santa Fe and the owner is a great guy. Thanks, David.

This place is incredible. The views from the patio alone are worth the stay. The house is an architectural wonder. Stunning to look at, amazing to stay in. There's a hot tub on the side of the hill, an elevator for those with mobility issues, two garage parking spaces, comfortable bedrooms, a very cozy TV room/ lounge, a kitchen with a huge domed skylight, and tons of giant windows looking out at the mountains and city below. Sunrises are nice, and sunsets are pretty glorious. It's also a very short drive to whatever you want to do in Santa Fe. We also drove to Taos and Albuquerque, and the Puye Cliff dwellings. All very makable distances. Overall, it's probably the most remarkable place I've ever stayed at in my extensive travels.

This property is incredible. If you are looking for a quiet spot not *on* the square, but a short drive away - there likely isn’t a better spot. The house is stunning and has everything you need to cook, entertain, and relax. This is probably the first rental I’ve stayed at with a decanter! We spent some time just admiring the art around the home.The host was attentive as well, and I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to stay at such a lovely home.

My husband and I spent a week here, and we would happily stay here again. We especially loved the outdoor deck areas—wonderful shaded places with cool breezes to hang out. The home itself is very unique and beautiful. I can’t imagine what it would take to rebuild it at today’s log prices. Only two bedrooms—so not a place for large groups—but what a lovely place for a getaway into another world. Everything worked and the house was well stocked with condiments, paper, etc.

This was my third stay at this amazing home in the hills overlooking Santa Fe. The home is cozy, comfortable, and very well appointed. The large deck features a soothing fountain and a fantastic view of the mountains. It truly is an idyllic getaway.

Spent Christmas & New Years here and celebrated our anniversary with great friends. The house is fantastic! The sunsets were incredible. The house was very well equipped. Everything was great. David was an excellent host. He always responded in a timely manner. This house was a real find! I would highly recommend staying her. Sunsets from the hot tub were an amazing!

This house was the perfect place to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The pictures do not do it justice - it is architecturally so much fun and yet so cozy and comfortable - with throws conveniently placed in all sitting areas. The kitchen was well stocked with spices (including fresh peppercorns), sugar, tea and coffee (even olive oil). The baths and bedrooms were furnished with quality linens. Having been in a few rentals lately - David is an extremely generous host. The wonderful feature in this home is the elevator from the garage to the main floor - we are physically challenged so this not so small feature was a God send. The frosting on the cake is the lack of the posted "Houseskeeping Chore List" to be completed by the renter prior to departure. David asks that the towels be left on the towel rack and sheets remain on the bed as housekeeping will take care of everything. You do need to take care of garbage if you fill of the containers before you leave - but other than that you can just pack up and leave - WOW.... this was the checkout method when we first began renting through VBRO. Highly recommend this property when you visit Santa Fe - you won't regret it.

David takes great care of this wonderful piece of architecture. I stayed with my golden retriever for almost a week and wished I could have just moved in. It is such a unique building and just feels so solid and so well thought out. It was exactly what I was looking for. David was very responsive to my questions. And I am already planning a return with my family next time. There are a few spots of "wear and tear" here and there (mostly just a few casement windows that do not open), but they in no way reduced the pleasure of staying in this wonderful home. If you love great design and a natural space, please rent this place. You won't regret it!

Five star house with every amenity. House overlooks Santa Fe with 180 degree plus views. The ability to be at the plaza in minutes while surrounded by total privacy with peace and quiet is an amazing find. It is a unique architectural gem with every modern convenience. You will never want to leave…so book as long as possible!

We could not have picked a better place to stay for our trip to Santa Fe. I stayed at this home with my husband and MIL for 3 nights at the end of April. We all agreed this home was the highlight of our trip. Everything is so thoughtfully done from the furnishings to the decor to the amenities provided. The views day and night are spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the patio just breathing in the desert air and enjoying the view as birds soared all above and deer rested below under the mesquite brush. The living and dining areas provided several different spots to comfortably gather for conversation while the 2 bedrooms separated on each end of the home provided privacy when needed. The home was immaculately clean and the owner was kind to check in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Next time we're in SF we will absolutely be staying here again.

We loved this property. The house was even nicer looking than the pictures - beautifully decorated and clean. The view of the mountains from the kitchen and living room glass doors was amazing. We liked the neighborhood - lots of space between houses and nice and quiet but still close (by car) to downtown. It was chilly when we were there so we didn’t get to use the outside space as much as we would’ve liked, but we did use the hot tub multiple times, which was a nice way to end long days of sightseeing. David was responsive and helped us quickly resolve the few minor issues that came up. We’d recommend this house for sure and we hope we have the chance to stay here again.

what a wonderful home. Unique architecture, antique furnishings and fine artwork and decor made this a memorable stay. Conveniently located close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood, and fully equipped with everything needed for our stay, this property stood out among the many we stayed at during a recent cross-country road trip. Highly recommended.

The house is gorgeous! Views of the mountains from almost every room. Beautiful indoors and outdoors. We were 4 adults and enjoying reading in the beautiful spaces, and enjoying all the art in the house. Comfy beds. The house had everything we needed. The host was very nice responding to my emails. We hope to go back next time in Santa Fe!

Sunrises are nice, and sunsets are pretty glorious. It's also a very short drive to whatever you want to do in Santa Fe. We also drove to Taos and Albuquerque, and the Puye Cliff dwellings. All very makable distances. Overall, it's probably the most remarkable place I've ever stayed at in my extensive travels.

The house is lovely, with very interesting architecture. The patio has great views and is a wonderful place for coffee or meals.The house has two nice bedrooms on opposite sides of the house, and a large communal living room where we spend most of the time. The kitchen was well-stocked and functional. We enjoyed using the elevator to bring groceries and luggage from the garage.David was very kind and responsive to any questions we had during our stay, and generally a pleasure to communicate with.

House was gorgeous, private and quiet with truly stunning views, photos did not do it justice. It felt secluded while still being a very short drive to downtown. house had a great layout for us, our in laws and toddler, with lots of room to run about. Plenty of guidance in the home witj clear instruction on everything from lights to the remote. Wish we had more time in Santa Fe to stay longer here.

We could not have picked a better place to stay for our trip to Santa Fe. I stayed at this home with my husband and MIL for 3 nights at the end of April. We all agreed this home was the highlight of our trip. Everything is so thoughtfully done from the furnishings to the decor to the amenities provided. The views day and night are spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the patio just breathing in the desert air and enjoying the view as birds soared all above and deer rested below under the mesquite brush. The living and dining areas provided several different spots to comfortably gather for conversation while the 2 bedrooms separated on each end of the home provided privacy when needed. The home was immaculately clean and the owner was kind to check in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Next time we're in SF we will absolutely be staying here again.

David takes great care of this wonderful piece of architecture. I stayed with my golden retriever for almost a week and wished I could have just moved in. It is such a unique building and just feels so solid and so well thought out. It was exactly what I was looking for. David was very responsive to my questions. And I am already planning a return with my family next time. There are a few spots of "wear and tear" here and there (mostly just a few casement windows that do not open), but they in no way reduced the pleasure of staying in this wonderful home. If you love great design and a natural space, please rent this place. You won't regret it!

The house is stunning and has everything you need to cook, entertain, and relax. This is probably the first rental I’ve stayed at with a decanter! We spent some time just admiring the art around the home.The host was attentive as well, and I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to stay at such a lovely home.

During our visit, we had a big snow storm which caused us to be 'snowed in' for a day. Our Host David, was very concerned and checked on us via phone and text nearly every day. He was so attentive, he arranged for some guys to come dig us out and throw down some sand. The views are amazing! I would visit again.

Spent Christmas & New Years here and celebrated our anniversary with great friends. The house is fantastic! The sunsets were incredible. The house was very well equipped. Everything was great. David was an excellent host. He always responded in a timely manner. This house was a real find! I would highly recommend staying her. Sunsets from the hot tub were an amazing!

This house was the perfect place to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The pictures do not do it justice - it is architecturally so much fun and yet so cozy and comfortable - with throws conveniently placed in all sitting areas. The kitchen was well stocked with spices (including fresh peppercorns), sugar, tea and coffee (even olive oil). The baths and bedrooms were furnished with quality linens. Having been in a few rentals lately - David is an extremely generous host. The wonderful feature in this home is the elevator from the garage to the main floor - we are physically challenged so this not so small feature was a God send. The frosting on the cake is the lack of the posted "Houseskeeping Chore List" to be completed by the renter prior to departure. David asks that the towels be left on the towel rack and sheets remain on the bed as housekeeping will take care of everything. You do need to take care of garbage if you fill of the containers before you leave - but other than that you can just pack up and leave - WOW.... this was the checkout method when we first began renting through VBRO. Highly recommend this property when you visit Santa Fe - you won't regret it.

The terrace has extraordinary long Mountain Views; lovely for morning coffee and a late afternoon glass of wine. Very comfortable living spaces. We loved the property in every way. Five star house with every amenity. House overlooks Santa Fe with 180 degree plus views. The ability to be at the plaza in minutes while surrounded by total privacy with peace and quiet is an amazing find. It is a unique architectural gem with every modern convenience. You will never want to leave…so book as long as possible!

Views were incredible! So close to downtown and all the restaurants and attractions. In the house though, felt secluded and definitely was able to enjoy some serenity. Would stay here again and recommend to everyone!

This place is incredible. The views from the patio alone are worth the stay. The house is an architectural wonder. Stunning to look at, amazing to stay in. There's a hot tub on the side of the hill, an elevator for those with mobility issues, two garage parking spaces, comfortable bedrooms, a very cozy TV room/ lounge, a kitchen with a huge domed skylight, and tons of giant windows looking out at the mountains and city below. My husband and I spent a week here, and we would happily stay here again. We especially loved the outdoor deck areas—wonderful shaded places with cool breezes to hang out. The home itself is very unique and beautiful. I can’t imagine what it would take to rebuild it at today’s log prices. Only two bedrooms—so not a place for large groups—but what a lovely place for a getaway into another world. Everything worked and the house was well stocked with condiments, paper, etc.

Marvelous adobe kiva-themed home built for comfort and beautiful views, filled with wonderful art. Location is a short drive (or bike ride) to the Plaza, stores and restaurants. Very quiet area—you would never know you’re in the city, given the abundant desert flora throughout the area.

The house and setting was perfect. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the huge patio. David our host was always available and extremely helpful. Would love to stay there again
