In The Woods A wooded retreat within the city.

This property was perfect for our family's situation. I came with my husband, teen son, adult daughter and her boyfriend. The bed setup was perfect and everything was just the right size for us. I loved the kitchen, especially when I had to spend the whole day cooking for my family reunion there. Having access to laundry was great for our week stay. Everything was organized so nicely and so clean. I couldn't believe we had so much woods surrounding us in the middle of Eau Claire! And to top it all off, there was a family of 7 deer that greeted us the 1st day and a turkey with her chicks in the front yard every morning! Just awesome!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming immaculate home. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the living room furniture and view from the large window lends itself to just sit back and relax. The privacy, quietness, and lovely wooded location of the home is superb. Yet, we were only 5 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The owners were great about communicating with us. Check-in was a breeze. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Very clean, tastefully decorated and very secluded even though you are basically in town. Saw turkey and deer wondering around. The hosts were quite friendly and easily reachable if you needed them for any reason. Will be staying there again.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend of my daughter’s wedding. The home and location worked perfectly: only 6 minutes from the church and 10 minutes from the reception venue. Plenty of space for my family of five. I am labeled as a “clean freak” by my family and friends, and even I was blown away at how immaculate the house was! Whenever I need to come up to Eau Claire for an extended stay, Paul and Anita’s property will be my go-to!

The property was very clean with all new appliances, and everything you might need! Perfect for the four of us.

Nice quiet location tucked into the woods with deer and turkey sightings out the window. Place was clean and provided all the necessary amenities. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy and also not far from stores, restaurants, parks, and city life.

We watched wild turkeys walking around almost every day. The house is situated at the end of a lane with no neighboring houses. The hosts are attentive and easy to communicate with. This is an incredible location. Be aware the house is on an unpaved road. No problem for us but not sure in inclement weather. The house is in the woods and we saw deer and wild turkeys throughout the days and evening, so drive slowly. The interior of the house was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

The rental is very well appointed and maintained. The owners have thought of everything and we were comfortable there. I reserved months in advance to stay for around a week and then extended my rental to stay 12 days. We were visiting family. At the time of extending they insisted the other person in my party who wanted to join us for the first portion of the trip (my brother) not reserve for the additional days and said I had to extend my reservation to the 12 days. No problem. We had 4-5 people in our party at all times per the rules, which I explained to them. The owners were very difficult to deal with - told me multiple times that they were “very concerned” about me staying at the property, were rude in their communications on the app, called me at 5:40 in the morning when my brother arrived in the rental the night before I did and accused me of strangers being in their home, sent me messages and left notes on the property stating that the neighbors would be watching me. Mind you, I’m an almost 50 year old mom of two teens who drives a gray minivan and owns my own almost million dollar home - I have no idea why or how I was such a problem. We had one maintenance issue - they messaged me a 7am that they would arrive at 7:30am that day. A bit abrupt when you’re on vacation. They woke up my kids when they came in. Great rental, but my interactions with the owners totally ruined it for me. No idea how they have all 5 star reviews.

We enjoyed our visit very much. It is the third time we’ve stayed at this lovely home in the woods. It is a getaway in the middle of town. Very convenient to all of Eau Claire. The hosts have clear instructions and are very generous to us “returnees” as we visit our son. I could not recommend this property more.

Very nice, peaceful and secluded home right in the midst of Eau Claire. The house had everything we needed, and more! We had a beautiful, warm and sunny week so was able to sit outside every day and enjoy the weather-without all the big city noise. This property was also centrally located for all the things we chose to do.

My sister and I stayed here. We LOVED the place. It had everything we needed and we loved the quiet wooded setting. Yet we were close to everything we wanted to do in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley area. Highly recommended!!

We stayed here to accommodate MIL vs a hotel. My husband is extremely picky and he could not say enough good things about this property. So close to everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the wildlife. We were greeted by 2 deer and the next morning 6 of them were hanging out next to the driveway!
