Nice location and peacful. Phone reception is bad and internet reception was almost non existent The tv didn't have any signal it couldn't connect to satellite.. There wasn't a canoe/kayak like described. For the fire pit I suggest taking a bag of fire wood/kindling

Down the steep driveway with my trailer was a feat, but what welcomed us was a country property with fantastic views of the lake. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces set the atmosphere, and kept the children working and warm! The kitchen and lounge areas were great for our home cooked meals, plus the oil heaters to keep us warm of a night in the middle of winter. Having the pontoon was a convenience for our short term fishing boat hire, which we thank you for, though the lake was only at 52% we still enjoyed the experience!

Good property, great location, clean and easy to communicate with owner.However, no dishwasher and few small maintenance issues.

We were a family group of adults wanting a place to stay with our dogs and a place to moor our boat for water skiiing. We had that - although it was a bit of a rocky trek to the pontoon, but the outcome was worth it for that tiny inconvenience. It was paradise sitting on the deck with the wildlife singing. A rustic house that was clean and spacious and great for the 8 of us. Be careful of the maps app sending you from Eildon to the property via a four wheel drive track.which was not pleasant and unnecessary as the other way is completely sealed all the way to the driveway of the property, which 7 out of 8 of us went by.

This really is a piece of paradise...The location is amazing and the view from the house instance relaxation...The house is old so manage your expectation but it is a fabulous house we loved it and the bird life is just lovely to watch... There isnt great internet service which didn't bother us we enjoyed the disconnection but might not be for everyone ..
