Quite last minute booking as volunteering for Festival of Speed so limited options which would probably account for it not really being the best value for money as quite pricey. It was however a very comfortable single room and surprisingly spacious with coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided as well as a very large bottle of water. Breakfast was also included which was plentiful. I stayed two nights and my only qualm was that I was woken up at 6am on the Sunday morning by someone vacuuming ! No parking but free between 6pm and 9am out on the promenade and I found a space relatively easily. Would stay again.

This is our third stay at this lovely Victorian hotel. It is ideal for us when visiting our daughter who lives close by. The hotel staff are very polite and friendly and the restaurant and bar serves top notch food and drinks. I am knocking off one star as our room was very cold on this particular stay. The bathroom was huge but had no source heating at all. The bedroom itself was also very large but with only one radiator which was fixed under a large single paned window behind a curtain, thus emitting hardly any heat. We did ask if maybe there was an additional heater we could use, but heard nothing back during our stay. This will not stop us from staying here again, but it is something to be aware of if your stay is in the winter months.

All the staff were very polite and friendly and our executive room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean with a lovely view directly out to the sea. There was a good choice of breakfast options cooked to order. We ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and the food served was one of the best we've had any posh restaurant. Hats off to the chef! My daughter has just moved into the area, very close to the hotel, so we will be staying here again for sure. We had a lovely stay, disappointed with the kitchen being closed between 3pm and 6pm no lunch for us when we arrived and very disappointed with the bar closing at 10:45 on a Saturday night 🙁

Really nice place to stay . Nice clean rooms with pretty much everything you would need. Great breakfast , nice bar and restaurant where you can dine. Polite staff. Will definitely be staying here again. Maybe address the aspect of the building in the near future.

Only fault, room was at back looking at scafolding, but only stayed 1 night so no problem. Couldn't control the heat and flow of water in shower very well and awkward 2 get 2 the toiletries as mounted on tbe wall.

There was a good choice of breakfast options cooked to order. We ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and the food served was one of the best we've had any posh restaurant. Hats off to the chef! My daughter has just moved into the area, very close to the hotel, so we will be staying here again for sure. Only slight negative is there is no on-site parking, but plenty of parking was available along the seafront.

First impressions when I pulled up outside were not good, exterior of the building is pretty shabby and in need of painting and tidying up. However, stepping through the door soon put my mind at rest, the interior is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. My standard double room was nice and spacious with a comfy bed. Nice hot shower. WiFi worked well. Didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was good.

Booked a double room. Given a pokey single room with no sea view or desk. Had to pay double for type of room I required. Tepid water in shower, no power point for toothbrush. Unhealthy manufactured sugary fake fruit yoghurt on breakfast bar, cold coffe and inability to provide hot breakfast in my timescale because of only one chef. Very disappointed

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, a few minutes walk from the centre of Worthing. Only let down is lack of air conditioning. A fairly old building, and the fan provided in the room was not enough.

My “compact double” was huge, it had even a separate dressing space! The room must have been redone quite lately as everything was so nice and everything was kept very clean. Service was impeccable during my whole stay, in the bar, the breakfast and especially in the reception. The location is the best possible; by the sea and buses leave 50 m from the doorstep. The only thing that disturbed me was that the room was pretty warm although I slept with the windows open. There was a fan, but at night I couldn’t find a wall socket to plug it in close to the bed.

Really lovely hotel. A lovely mix of modern and art deco. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was a little noisy from the restaurant downstairs, but next time we'll just ask for a room in a different spot. The staff were lovely, especially those in the bar/restaurant.

One of the cutest and cosiest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Beautiful interior, big spacious rooms, facilities great. Staff were approachable and welcoming. Only two downsides-the breakfast lacked flavour and hotel was a bit pricey.

I stay at the Burlington whenever I am in Worthing. I like that it's an independent hotel and that it has a lot of history attached. The location on the front (but away from the noisy part) is ideal, staff are consistently welcoming and the breakfast is excellent!

Just a two night Sat/Sun stay. Never stayed in Worthing before but I must say that everybody we met in the town; in particular the younger people were as polite and helpful as any I have ever met. That goes for the staff at The Burlington too who were exceptional. I would pick out Rachel on Reception simply because that's the only name I managed to catch. But her colleagues were equally so.

We like this location because it is convenient and very walkable to restaurants, etc. The bath in our room had been renovated recently and was very nice. The staff is amazing one of the top reasons we stay there.

We stay here usually once a year when we visit our daughter. The location is very convenient. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Burlington Hotel.

My stay at the Burlington Hotel was nice experience from start to finish. The combination of pleasant surroundings, clean accommodations, lovely service, and situated opposite the sea, made it a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend the Burlington Hotel to anyone seeking a a comfortable, lovely and unforgettable hotel experience.

Lovely hotel on a beachfront location. We visited for a family party in Worthing. Staff and service were very good. As its an old building, some of the windows do not fit very well, ie draughts. Winter time rooms might be cold I think. Overall an excellent stay.

We like this location because it is convenient and very walkable to restaurants, etc. The bath in our room had been renovated recently and was very nice. The staff is amazing one of the top reasons we stay there.

Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.

The staff were friendly and breakfast very good. The location on Marine Parade was a distance from the glitzy area near to the Pier.there are bus stops close by to enable visiting the seafront towns and direct to the rail station.The hotel had the feel of a small, traditional, comfortable, friendly hotel. I would stay there again.

Friendly welcoming staff, comfortable bed in a big light and bright room. Just a stones throw away from the beach. Exterior of the property looks a bit shabby but interior is better. Nice breakfast in dining room.

I stay at the Burlington whenever I am in Worthing. I like that it's an independent hotel and that it has a lot of history attached. The location on the front (but away from the noisy part) is ideal, staff are consistently welcoming and the breakfast is excellent!

One of the cutest and cosiest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Beautiful interior, big spacious rooms, facilities great. Staff were approachable and welcoming. Only two downsides-the breakfast lacked flavour and hotel was a bit pricey.

All the staff were very polite and friendly and our executive room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean with a lovely view directly out to the sea. There was a good choice of breakfast options cooked to order. We ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and the food served was one of the best we've had any posh restaurant. Hats off to the chef! My daughter has just moved into the area, very close to the hotel, so we will be staying here again for sure. Only slight negative is there is no on-site parking, but plenty of parking was available along the seafront.

Booked a double room. Given a pokey single room with no sea view or desk. Had to pay double for type of room I required. Tepid water in shower, no power point for toothbrush. Unhealthy manufactured sugary fake fruit yoghurt on breakfast bar, cold coffe and inability to provide hot breakfast in my timescale because of only one chef. Very disappointed

The outside of the Hotel could do with some love (paint and varish) but step inside and its professional, smart and charismatic. The staff are fabulous and the food was divine.

We had a lovely stay, disappointed with the kitchen being closed between 3pm and 6pm no lunch for us when we arrived and very disappointed with the bar closing at 10:45 on a Saturday night 🙁

When i arrived at the hotel last Saturday afternoon. I was greeted by the receptionist who was friendly and she asked me to fill my address and phone number which i did. I briefly spoke about the Hammerdown festival which i was attending later in the evening at The Factory Live. She gave me the keys and said you can either use the lift or stairs. I used the lift to my room on the third floor. It was a small room with a nice double bed but unfortunately a fly must of flew in tbe room when i opened the door. So that was a bit annoying. Anyway later in the evening i went to the festival and returned back to the hotel around after midnight. I didn't see the fly so it must of got out. So i went to sleep. In the morning i got ready and went down to have breakfast i asked the receptionist where i go she said it was on the right. So got myself a crossiant and a glass of orange. I noticed the staff were quite young and didnt ask me if i wanted a cooked breakfast or even a cup of tea when i sat at the table. But asked people at other tables if they did. I was just ignored. Anyway i finished my crossiant and glass of orange and handed the keys back to the receptionost who did say bye and wished me a good day. Unforunately the staff serving breakfast were unforunately not the same. So won't be visiting tbe hotel again for that reason.

Our choice of The Burlington Hotel was influenced by its excellent restaurant located on Worthing's seafront. We dined both dinner and breakfast at this restaurant, and both experiences were extraordinary. The sole issue we encountered was a deteriorated window frame in our room. During our stay in June, characterised by hot weather, we were compelled to keep the window open to allow fresh air into the room, which lacked air conditioning, throughout the day and night. Regrettably, all windows at the property were in poor condition, exhibiting rot and being covered with mould and fungus. It was disheartening to observe that a historic hotel was in such a state of disrepair.
