L'entretien des jardins peut néanmoins être amélioré (énormes toiles d'araignées, cochenilles un peu partout...). La piscine est très agréable, mais l'espace autour est trop étroit pour accueillir convenablement l'ensemble des clients (pas de transat disponible pendant des heures, ni parfois même un petit bout gazon pour étendre sa serviette...). Dommage, sachant qu'il s'agit à mon avis de l'atout de cet hôtel.

Historical building, spacious room, good AC. Nice view from the window. Breakfast could be better - like add some veggies and more choices. Parking was tight, so we parked in the back. We were told that the door would be open, but it was closed the first time, so we had to drive back, and then back again.

The place is an old ducal palace like a posada but more reasonable price. I wondered around the gardens and pool area, well kept. Lots of other services I did not partake in. Good secure parking, pleasant sitting area near the bar with a very good painting of bulls . Breakfast was good. Only complaint was that the season changed the air conditioning to winter although the outside temperature was near 30, and the window could not be opened , so the room was quite warm for sleeping,

Mooie ruime kamer en sanitair. Goede bedden met keuze uit een dikker of een dunner kussen. Prima ontbijt. Bij het zwembad waren helaas niet voldoende bedjes voor het aantal aanwezige gasten en in het gazon zaten zoveel kleine insecten dat het niet zo leuk was om daar te gaan liggen, maar het zwembad was heerlijk en netjes. Het hotel is rustig gelegen, maar toch op loopafstand van het historisch centrum. Wij komen er graag nog eens terug.

I believe this establishment has a lot of potential however, they are definitely short staffed, and this reflects in the service. At the check-in, not a person in sight had to look around to find an employee when finally, the check-in agent arrived. He was very low-key and not to accommodating. We were not able to check in early and benefit of the lovely pool and facilities so we left and came back a few hours later. The checking agent did not even offer us to go and sit by the pool and have some lunch was Barry all right in letting us leave to come back at 4 PM. The room is dated and need some love decor bland. Bed very hard.

A começar pelo staff da recepção, que nos acolheu muito bem: educados e atenciosos (em especial a Márcia). O hotel é muito charmoso, limpo, ótimo serviço. Todos os funcionários muito receptivos! Noite tranquila, e ótimo café da manhã. Típico hotel para dizer que voltarei, sem dúvida!

A começar pelo staff da recepção, que nos acolheu muito bem: educados e atenciosos (em especial a Márcia). O hotel é muito charmoso, limpo, ótimo serviço. Todos os funcionários muito receptivos! Noite tranquila, e ótimo café da manhã. Típico hotel para dizer que voltarei, sem dúvida!

This is a beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms, housecoats were a welcome touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Easy to walk the entire area.

Historical building, spacious room, good AC. Nice view from the window. Breakfast could be better - like add some veggies and more choices. Parking was tight, so we parked in the back. We were told that the door would be open, but it was closed the first time, so we had to drive back, and then back again.

Im Vorhinein wurde ich am Telefon weggedrückt, auf Nachrichten gab es keine Antwort. Es gab in Zählungen Ameisen im Zimmer, Matratze sehr weich. Wir kamen mit Verspätung ins Zimmer und mussten warten. Das Frühstück entsprach nicht den Erwartungen. Schade

We had a great visit and the hotel was really well situated. The room was huge, with a big bed and amazing view. We had a problem with our safe which was very quickly sorted out for us. Staff were amazing especially in reception and the restaurant. We ate twice in the restaurant and both meals were of a very high quality, I'm surprised more people don't eat there. Pool was bigger than expected and deep, which we like. The garden areas were very well kept with plenty of shady areas for hot days. we had no trouble parking our car, there was plenty of room for everyone. We do have one negative point though. The room we booked was just a regular room, that we knew would be in a separate block to the main building BUT what we didn't know was that the access to the separate block was via a marble cobbled uphill path through the gardens, which was very uneven in places and not at all suitable for these two oldies or any other person with limited mobility. There were also a number of holes by the entrance door to the block which had been covered by a kind of carpet, not very safe in my opinion. That said, we managed for our short visit, and the room/view was lovely but next time we'll pay extra to be in the main building.

We loved this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The grounds were beautiful with the pool and garden area. We got to our room by following a path through a garden. Our room was comfortable and had an outdoor sitting area surrounded by shrubs. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choices.
