Stay Hotel Évora Centro

Breakfast was an add on that we opted out of, so cannot comment on that. But the location was close to the square and convenient to everything we needed. The hotel is down a very tight alley, so the taxi dropoff and pickup are a bit of a walk to a wider street - this wasn't an issue for us, but note it in case. Would stay again.

Único ponto positivo foi a localização central, para andar a pé. Mas para chegar de carro é horrível!!! A entrada é por uma viela minúscula e quase entalamos a van para virar no final dela. Levamos uns 20 minutos manobrando e rezando. Foi apavorante. No check-in, o primeiro recepcionista foi meio rude e não muito prestativo. Após descarregar as malas tivemos que tirar a van e procurar estacionamento fora das muralhas. O quarto não era no edifício principal do hotel mas sim em outra ruazinha mais adiante. Ficamos no andar de cima e não tinha elevador. Quarto pequeno, bem simples. O colchão não tinha mais que 8cm. A mesinha de cabeceira tombou pois o pé estava quebrado. O único ponto de tomadas no quarto ficava longe da cama. O banheiro era simples e mal conservado, com azulejos quebrados e exaustor barulhento. O Hotel foi uma decepção, muito caro pelo que oferece. Não merece 3 estrelas.

Experiência incrível! A localização é excelente, pois fica dentro da cidade murada, com suas ruazinhas estreitas. O melhor é já deixar o carro em um estacionamento público, que fica a uns 400m do hotel. Assim não há estresse para achar vaga. O atendimento merece um destaque. Todas da equipe foram muito gentis e profissionais. Café da manhã muito bom e com um atendimento nota 10! Quarto confortável, com banheira e chuveiro ótimos. Ficamos em um quarto fora do prédio principal, mas muito legal. Amei tudo. Custo beneficio excelente!! Super recomendo!

O hotel está muito bem localizado e com atendimento excelente, café da manhã bom. Falta a informação que não tem estacionamento no local e na redondeza, o que dificulta muito para quem está com carro próprio, de resto cabe ressaltar que o pessoal do hotel é muito atencioso.

Dan una minúscula habitacions en la que es imposible moverse o guardar las maletas. Tampoco pueden conectarse cargadores de wifi y para conectar la TV se precisa un alargo que cubre del todo la minimesita. Conseguimos cambiar de habitación en edificio cercano. Habitación de tamaño aceptable, pero sin poder abrir y cerrar bien los armarios, apenas sin luz y sin ascensor

Overall, property is great. But we rented a car and it was impossible for us to go through the narrow road at Sharp 90° turn to get to the hotel to unload our luggage. So we had to find a public parking lot where we could park the car overnight, which was another fiasco was more parking lots catered to the residence around them and had very limited overnight parking. We had to do many loops around the inner cities going from parking lot to parking lot until we found one took us over an hour just to find parking. Since we had luggage and it was too far for us to drag the luggage on the cobblestone roads, we had to take an Uber that could get us close to the hotel.. the Uber had the same issue as it could not drop us to front of the hotel because of the narrow 90° sharp turn. There is parking on the main street close to the hotel however it just depends on your luck if you find anything there because that’s what the patron of the local shops along that street use.

It was exactly as expected, but the location is hardly accessible by car. They did gave us indication for a parking space near the hotel prior to our arrival, it was near enough and felt secure

Clean room, close to sites

C’est un hébergement qui a clairement besoin de rénovation. La salle de bain est pitoyable et le tapis est à changer en raison des odeurs. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement

Friendly, cheerful staff, and a clean and comfortable (if dated - but not shabby) room. Great location, with free parking a few minutes' walk away.

Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité… je regarde toujours s’il y a des fenêtres et dans cette chambre c’était des fenêtres très hautes placées, impossible à atteindre et sans vue!!!

The Stay hotel in Evora provides a comfortable base from which to explore the city. It's not luxurious but is very comfortable.

Super close to the main centre of town, and quite large room. Thought folks were being picky about complaining about the shower but the water really did run everywhere and I needed two towels to soak up the water after a fairly quick shower. The area initially seemed really quiet as it’s a very small street with seemingly nothing directly nearby, but I kept being woken up between 2-5am by groups of drunk folks walking by singing or talking really loudly. I was woken up at least 4 separate times during that timeframe and I’m usually a fairly heavy sleeper. I imagine this was made worse by the fact that my room was basically a basement, so the window was directly at street level, and since the alley is so small, the noise must just get amplified a ton. This was mid-December when the town seemed pretty dead so I can only imagine it’s much worse during tourist season. Wish there had been a dead bolt or some kind of security feature on the door because some of the drunk groups seemed a little aggressive and as a solo female traveler, would’ve liked a bit more peace of mind on that end, especially since the door itself seemed to almost not fully close (I think this was just the visual design of it, not an actual fault with the closing/locking mechanism, but again, some kind of extra lock would’ve been nice.) Overall fine for a one night stay and ridiculously cheap so can’t complain too much.

Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable room overlooking a nice garden with outside patio although it was late Feb when we were there and raining and cool so couldn’t use the outdoor facilities. Staff were amazing and very helpful with information. Arranged a cab to the bus terminal for us and it was an easy walk to every where. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Our first room had a very bad smell. They transfer our room without any hassle. We loved the location the staff provided us with great insight about the city's hidden gem.

Staying in the centre of the old centre of the city was perfect. We loved being able to walk everywhere. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast option was nice. The Hotel was very charming and was a good choice for us.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The only issue was that the room was a bit cold, and I couldn't find a blanket. Overall, it was a good experience, and the breakfast was delicious!

The property was hard to find. Because of a narrow street and sharp turn, it was almost impossible to drive to. The parking was nonexistent. The breakfast was poor. Our first room was so small, it was impossible to fully open our suitcase. The second room, which we got by complaining about the first room, was bigger but noisy.
