An amazing stay! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were excellent, well maintained and perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful — very friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times. The location is without a doubt one of the hotel’s greatest highlights. The surroundings in São Vicente are absolutely stunning and the views are hard to beat. A special mention has to go to the breakfast: delicious, varied and enjoyed with some of the best views we had anywhere in Madeira. This is one of those hotels that makes your whole trip even more special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️

Do not go to this hotel. Photographs are fake and do not represent the true state of hotel. It is a scam from both, Hotels.com and hotel itself. We came to check in with 8months old baby and could not stay in this hotel. Overall state of the hotel is terrible, obscure and badly maintainted, needing heavy maintenance and restoration. It takes your energy all the way down to the very bottom instead uplifting and giving holiday vibe. But this was just the beginning. First it stunk of damp, then on top of it was all the chemicals that I suspect they have to use to try to mask the damp and mold. We entered the room to be greeted by two cockroaches running away to the drain in the bathroom and my wife started coughing up so badly we could not stay there no longer to risk health issues. I have taken only few photos just to show what it really looks like but the whole building is a wreck. We went to reception and said that we cannot stay here and that this hotel was missold to us by placing fake photographs. They offered to check other two room with upgrade and fantaastic view but the state of them was just as bad as original room and we would not stay there even with this incredible view. We requested full refund due to this situation but despite the scam and many rooms available (no potential loss for hotel) they refused to return money so this will continue as a dispute being escalated to adequate authorities. It is shocking that such dirty tactics are being played.

The place has problems with damp and mold

Nice hotel for this price. Heated pool. Hot sauna. Good breakfast.
