AmericInn by Wyndham West Burlington

We booked a room over a week in advance and when we arrived they had already booked our room and instead of the king suite with hot tub we were put in a double queen room. Overall a terrible experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Trash on the dirty carpet, hvac control buttons didn’t work, 2 crawling insects, tank cover for toilet made it difficult to flush. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a large selection to include scrambled eggs and sausage links. Shopping mall in the same parking lot many store fronts closed. Good quality movie theater.

Check in was good, staff was nice. Room was clean, bathroom was not. Ended up finding a bed bug. Reported to desk manager next morning who was not friendly. Tried to follow up with hotels.com and could not get anyone to assist me.

Clean room and lobby. Friendly staff.
