The staff were amazing, so knowledgeable about transpo, and helpful w my heavy bag up front stairs. Shout out to Elisa. Thank you for excellent service! Breakfast was so delicious. I loved the various smoothies, and self serve espresso machines. The lobby/bar area was gorgeous, with gas fireplace and interesting art. Also, i appreciated the portable fan in room, as most hotels run central heating and too hot for me. I would have given 5 stars, except for the pillows (way too soft), and the stairs at front.

Værelset lugtede af røg, Der var meget dårlig belysning på værelset også. Halv slidte møbler og gulvtæpper og det var altså deres premiumværelse. Personalet var sådan set søde nok Jeg ledte ofte over 45 min. efter en parkeringsplads i området. De få "gratis" pladser de havde var konstant optaget.

Helt topp opphold, på ett veldig fint sted. Rommene var nye og fine, rene og pene. God frokost og grei parkering utenfor. Skulle gjerne ha ønsket elbil lading også, om jeg skulle ha bedt om noe mer.

The size of the room is nice, allowing for resting in chairs after long walks. The front desk staff was helpful in terms of navigating the city as visitors. The hotel is in an excellent location. The one complaint is that there was significant mildew in the shower along the grout which was surprising to see.

I loved my stay. I was there for two weeks! The best experience ever. Excellent service from all Martin, Marina, Marty, Olivia all the lovely ladies from breakfast where one was Ukranian and from other nationalities that ensured a variety of delicious and fresh breakfast for all tastes. The housekeepers were also amazing, always making sure the room is nice and clean the bed perfectly made I can't wait to come back. The hotel is in an excellent location that allowed me to meet my walking cravings of the entire city. From one park to the other and from the King's Palace to the best restaurants in the city. The rooms were very cleaned, spacious, and the mini fridge saved my life with my mid-night cravings. A supermarket was near which was very convenient. The lobby entrance is beautiful, modern and cozy; it's great to have a nice glass of Champagne or Wine and watch the rain fall or people seeing as they walk near by the hotel. The lobby area has a nice fire place that its very relaxing to be around, and take photos, or get your laptop and do some work. The building is only a few stories, and easy to get around, therefore, you will not waste time walking in long hall ways and being in crowded elevators. You will be in and out the hotel in no time to enjoy the gorgeous city of Oslo with their super sweet and welcoming Norwegians. This was truly the best vacation of my life and words can't describe how thankful I am to each and every single one of the staff members in the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Saga Hotel Oslo. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very cozy. Hotel was excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast included which was nice and food was good. Hotel is about a 20/25 minute walk from the waterfront but it’s in a very nice area with shops/cafes close by. Only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room. I know Oslo isn’t usually hot but it was 29 degrees when we were there. Also be nice if water was included in your room.

The Saga Hotel has 4-5 rooms with non-traditional designs which is worth noting. The first night we were put into one of these rooms which we did not like. In an attempt to be interesting, modern, unique, or space efficient, the room had no walls between the sleeping and bathroom area, and a sliding door which could close off EITHER the shower or toilet area (but not both simultaneously). To be fair, the very friendly and accommodating staff warned us on check-in that “some people love these rooms, and some people hate them”. Well, count us in the latter category. The staff offered to move us to their last remaining traditional room that night, but we chose to wait until morning. The rest of the hotel is more typical in design and was very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. Property is very clean. As we left very early in the morning, a well-prepared takeaway breakfast was considerately prepared by staff for us: sandwiches, yogurt, danishes, coffee cake, bottled smoothie, fresh fruit, with napkins and utensils. The receptionist brought an espresso to our room! Above and beyond our expectations.

The Saga Hotel is a hidden gem in Oslo. It’s within walking distance to the city, yet in a lovely, quiet area. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful. We felt safe and welcomed! It was so nice knowing we were going back to this lovely hotel after a day of sight seeing!!

Would have been a 10 of 10, but the lady in the front desk refused to give us 1 hour later check-out for free demanding 100 kr which is just petty when we explained that we arrived 04:00am with our baby after a 8 hour long flight when we were forced to stay at a hotel since we were unable to pick-up the key to our appartment in Oslo. We have been given a 1 hr grace in all the 16 hotels we have stayed in in US and EU over the past 9 weeks so international guests expect to get such as a curtesy. Breakfast was amazing though! And the guy that checked us in in the middle of the night with all the baggage and stuff was amazing and super friendly.

Jeg ble først tildelt et trist, kaldt, lite rom der flere ting manglet. Hun som kom på jobb kl 23 tok affære og skaffet meg et dobbelt så stort og dobbelt så varmt rom. Der både rødvin og telefon var på plass. Hurra for henne! Gode senger og dyner

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. There was a lovely sitting/ reading room adjacent to the lobby. Our own room was lovely, too, tastefully decorated and roomy. We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood very near public transportation and only a short walk to wonderful shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again!

The Saga Hotel is a hidden gem in Oslo. It’s within walking distance to the city, yet in a lovely, quiet area. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful. We felt safe and welcomed! It was so nice knowing we were going back to this lovely hotel after a day of sight seeing!!

Hotel was excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast included which was nice and food was good. Hotel is about a 20/25 minute walk from the waterfront but it’s in a very nice area with shops/cafes close by. Only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room. I know Oslo isn’t usually hot but it was 29 degrees when we were there. Also be nice if water was included in your room.

Away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood behind the Royal Palace. Lots of local shopping nearby. Tram stop about two blocks away. Oslo is a very compact city, everything is within walking distance if you like to walk and explore the different sections of Oslo. Very good breakfast, with local Norwegian food,; shrimp, smoke salmon, and local bread selection. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the city.

The staff were amazing, so knowledgeable about transpo, and helpful w my heavy bag up front stairs. Shout out to Elisa. Thank you for excellent service! Breakfast was so delicious. I loved the various smoothies, and self serve espresso machines. The lobby/bar area was gorgeous, with gas fireplace and interesting art. Also, i appreciated the portable fan in room, as most hotels run central heating and too hot for me. I would have given 5 stars, except for the pillows (way too soft), and the stairs at front.

Great value for Oslo. A cute hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, and they have limited free parking. Couldn't ask for more.

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our junior suite was large, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast—absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a great variety to choose from. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Personalet var veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Det var rent på rommet. Ingen ting å utsette på disse tingene. Rommet var elendig. Nesten halve rommet var umøblert. Taket var skrått og vinduet viste kun himmelen. Tvn var milevidt fra sengen. Jeg hadde gledet meg til frokosten, men den var en skuffelse. Mye av varmmaten var kald eller lunken og melken var lunken. Jeg bestilte dette hotellet for å kose meg med et fint hotellrom og god frokost. Det jeg fikk var ikke verd pengene.

I really enjoyed my stay at Saga Hotel Oslo. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very cozy. Breakfast was great with good variety, and the area felt quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to rest. Staff were friendly and the stay was smooth from check-in to check-out. Nice hotel on the outer rim of the central city in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to most places. The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, If you are travelling by car try and make sure that you secure a hotel park if you can, there are only eight of them and on street parking is horrifically expensive if you miss out on a hotel park, which we did on the first day but managed to get one the next day. The shower was typical of European / Scandinavian showers, it leaked everywhere across the floor. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel close to the centre of Oslo
