Fint hotell med fin lobby, flott frokostområde + restaurantene på utsiden i tilknytning til hotellet. Treningsrommet hadde veldig bra med utstyr, men fraværende ventilasjon. Tett og varm luft. Hotellrommet var fint, men noe dårlig belysning og dårlig ventilasjon da vi hadde rom i den eldste delen av hotellet. Meget lytt. Ellers et topp opphold og meget sentral beliggenhet :-)

Very spartan room, lacking even basic amenities, such as Kleenex (or similar) tissues. Expensive for the bare bones nature of the room. Property layout is odd. Our room faced a part of the building with constant passersby, making for a lot of noise disruption until after midnight. On the positive side, the gym is very good. Hyggelig opphold. Ble skuffet over å måtte betale kr 200 i parkering for en bilparkering i 20 timer utenfor hotellet. Skulle tro en parkerte i Paris, men det er nå bare Sogndal - en liten bygd i Sogn. Henger ikke på greip.

Came back after previous visit in 2019. Oh what transformation. If you like clean towels daily and you bed made, Don\'t come here. On arrival receptionist was poor about information, not giving breakfast times and where to sit in addition to their new cleaning policy. Room in need of upgrade, ceiling lamps need replacement, bear live wires in new led light fitting, fridge thermostat broken. Need to come back for Norway Day, but it will be another Hotel that doesn\'t have "Quality" in its name.

De tout notre séjour, chambre la plus chère : 205€ Pour ce prix la fenêtre donne sur un mur sans pouvoir voir un brin de ciel. La chambre n’a pas été faite après la première nuitée. We thought the room was really great - excellent bed and shower, everything very clean. Enjoyed the free breakfast, as well as restaurant and bar. We did ask once for a box of tissues from the front desk and were told there was none - this would be a nice item to have on hand in case another traveler has a cold like we did. Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

Gledet oss til å få oppleve Sogndal på en av sommerens fineste dager. Vi hadde booket to standard rom, men ble gledelig overrasket over at det ene rommet ble oppgradert til deluxe rom. Dessverre ble gleden kortvarig da airconditionanlegget ga ingen effekt på noen av rommene. Klokken 04 på natten var det 26 grader på rommet. Hadde en grusom natt. Ble tilbudt bordvifte, men dette hjalp svært lite. Rengjøringen kunne vært bedre og rommene var veldig enkelt inredet. Standardrommet så ut som om det var fra 70-tallet. Mye å betale nesten Nok 5000 for dette. Selv om vi hadde med hund kunne det ikke falt oss inn å ta med hunden inn i matsalen. Reagerer på at dette er lov. Pluss for grei frokost.

Her er det mye å gå på. Sett flere store skjeggkre på rommet, hår på badet og våknet med bitt (loppe? Veggdyr?) verken kaffe eller te på rommet. I tillegg måtte vi betale for dyr parkering. Rommet var trangt for 4, det var gammelt og lytt. innsjekking var akseptabel og frokost var bra.

We took Deluxe room and it was fully paid before we arrived. I was given a room on top of where big tourist buses parked. When I requested to change, staff said if I need a quiet room, should be booked in mountain, not in the city. The best room in the hotel given the worse location. People spoke standing right under my window till mid-night. Whole night I can hear the cars. Even it was very hot I had to keep the window close. No AC, window closes was terrible. Staff comments are very unprofessional.

Beim Quality Hotel Sogndal gibt es zwei verschiedene Bereiche: Einen alten Hotel-Bereich und einen neuen Trakt mit modernen Zimmern. - Das große Problem: Wenn man wie wir Zimmer der Kategorie "Superiour Room (mit Balkon)" bucht, kommt man automatisch in den alten Hotelteil (vermutlich 70er Jahre), bei dem absolut nichts "superiour" ist: - jedes Zimmer ist anders, meist geschmacklos gestaltet - altes Bad - alles fühlt sich "speckig" an - dreckiger Balkon (Siehe Fotos) Laut Rezeption ist es nicht geplant, diesen alten Trakt in den nächsten Jahren zu erneuern. Daher mein Rat: Wenn Sie überhaupt dieses Hotel in Erwägung ziehen, buchen Sie gleich ein Zimmer im neuen Bereich des Hotels. Dann gibt es aber eben keinen Balkon. - Auch weiß ich nicht, wie man steuern könnte, in welchen Hotelteil man gesteckt wird. Vielleicht nur über die Website des Hotels selbst. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich. Das restliche Personal grüßt nicht. Es herrscht offensichtlich keine gute Stimmung in der Belegschaft. Frühstück war gut, Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Zu wenig Fahrstühle und dreckiges Treppenhaus.

Fikk opplyst i tlf dagen før at de kunne sjekke når jeg ankom om rommet var ferdig 3t før, og at parkering var maks 150kr døgnet. Vi ankommer 2 t før innsjekk, resepsjonist nektet å sjekke, sa bare nei. Vi kommer på rommet malingen på listene er flasset, badet er skitten. Vi vasker selve dosete pga det er bæsj på det, den nye dorullen har de tredd på et utstikk ovenfor dobørsten. Dusjen er skitten, rød stivnet såpe langs hele glasset og ved avløpet. Når vi tok i hårføneren holdt lyset og hele greiene over speilet på og dette ned. Stikkontakter var løse fra veggen. Parkering var 197 kr døgnet. Når vi sjekker ut er det samme resepsjonist som innsjekk. Hun tar kortet sier "dere har forhåndsbetalt, alt i orden". Ingen hade bra, god tur hjem eller hvordan var oppholdet. Meget spesiell dårlig service og utrolig dårlig og skittent rom.

This was a terrible experience. Online it looks like an updated and comfortable hotel by the water, which is true if they put you in the newer section. We got an old room with cheap furniture and a horrible bed. At night the place turned into a house party. People next to us were partying, people in the parking lot were partying, and people in the house next-door were partying. (There's a campus nearby) The noise went on for hours making sleep impossible. In the morning there was a bottle of vodka behind the tire of our rental car, broken glass in the parking lot, and red solo cups thrown everywhere. Thankfully our car was ok. I would not recommend this place to others and I feel that we wasted our money.

The only useful part of this hotel is close to the bus stop. Access to the hotel was obscured by the directions to enter through the parking. Arriving at night was scary with no proper lighting or staff. The simple single room at $150 didnt have any ameneties or accessories, not even a fridge or a water boiler, no sleepers (at least!) Breakfast was fair and staff was ok. I will not stay again in this hotel.

It’s very close to the river and bus station. This hotel is very modern and has two different restaurants next to it. After a long day of hiking we were able to take quick showers and walk into any of the two restaurants without reservations. We decided to go to the Italian restaurant and sit outside. It was wonderful.

Wir haben überraschend ein Upgrade für unsere 4 Nächte bekommen. Das Zimmer war super, Chromecast-optionen im TV und ein sauberes Bad mit Dusche. Ein Teil des Hotels hat 5./6. Etage (vermutlich Anbau), diesen Teil erreicht man nur über einen etwas entlegenen Teil im Hotel, was sich aber später als praktisch erwiesen hat, da er näher am Parkplatz lag. Es gibt insgesamt 3 Restaurants im Hotel. Zwei haben wir ausprobiert und für gut befunden. Gern wieder!

Norges beste hotel havregrøt serveres til frokost ved hotellet, verdi for betalingen alene. Hotellet ellers er et ok 3 til 4 stjerners nivå, med 2 serveringssteder i huset og gå avstand til alt i sentrum av Sogndal.

Ok hotel, men anbefaler bruke restauranter i byen. De på hotellet er Over priset. Italiensk tema restaurant, uten barnepizza. Men halv pris på salat til barn, det blir for dumt.
