Absolutely incredible trip. The hotel was stunning. The grounds, the pool area, the decor, the rooms, all of it was absolutely spotless and beautifully done. The service was amazing, nothing was an issue and everyone was so lovely. Location wise it is around 10/15 minutes in a taxi into the city centre. You have the best of both worlds. The hotel feels like you are in the countryside with beautiful surroundings but yet so close to the city. We will definitely return.

The service was amazing, nothing was an issue and everyone was so lovely. Location wise it is around 10/15 minutes in a taxi into the city centre. You have the best of both worlds. The hotel feels like you are in the countryside with beautiful surroundings but yet so close to the city. We will definitely return.

Villa Olmi is a beautiful hotel arouund 4km from the centre of Florence, easily reached by Taxi around £30 euros or the number 23 bus a short walk away. There is plenty of parking onsite also. The Villa itself is complimented with beautiful gardens. We used the gym and the outdoor pool which in late April was peaceful innits location. We had a standard room which was spacious and beautifully decorated, and has tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves dinner and lunch, we are lunch twice on our stay and was delicious. Breakfast is plentiful and has a selection of hot and cold items including pastruss, fruit, cereals, hams & cheeses. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful which makes the stay just perfect. If you are lookig for a bit of luxury without being in the centr le this is your place. We will definitely stay here again if in Florence. Unfortunately hotels.com are not allowing to add any images !

Very charming hotel, located just outside Florence with shuttle service to the center, lovely pool and patio/bar area and the general garden and parking facilities are beautiful. Unfortunately our room was quite small and with a window facing straight into a wall. However not a big deal as we spend most of the time pool side and exploring Florence. But i do suggest trying to get a room with a better view for the full experience.

Beautiful hotel and staff are amazing but I was very disappointed with the shuttle service. One of the reasons why we stayed at Villa Olmi was because of the access to the shuttle. Previously, the shuttle was free and would have left us closer to the city center. This time around it’s 2.50 euro per person, the new shuttle drop off is now is a 30 minute walk to the center. And then, when we wanted to book the shuttle, it was full, leaving us to take several $30-$40 taxis every time. It is a huge inconvenience if you have a family. Be aware that breakfast is not included; we thought it was since our previous stay also included it. I guess it depends on which agency one uses.

Warning to others about undisclosed gratuities. At checkout, after a 2-day stay, They added a €36 service fee to my bill. They told me this was for the kitchen, bar, reception, housekeeping, etc. They never told me at check-in about this gratuity so I had been leaving gratuities in the room each day of my stay and also tipping the baggage handler. This was an additional fee on top of the city tax. I had never eaten at the hotel (although we were charged for breakfast we never ate). I feel like they should have disclosed these gratuities at the very beginning at check-in before we started tipping the staff. Also the shuttle service advertised for the hotel is not free but costs €2.50 per person each way and must be reserved 24 hours before. Not very cheap or convenient so we simply walked out to the bus stop and took the bus. One evening for dinner we took a taxi to the center of town and it cost us over €50. Otherwise the hotel was nice and clean and had good AC. Our goal was to see the city of Florence and not to hang out at the hotel. So we basically only slept there. From our window we could see that the pool and grounds looked nice and the reception lobby also looked nice but again we didn't spend very much time there. One of the few positives was that the parking was free.

This hotel ruined my experience in Florence for several reasons: 1- staff was polite but management was not customer centric, refusing to address major problems 2- hotel lobby , pool, restaurant and room had worn out, cheap looking old furnishings. You are in a beautiful region in Italy but feels like you are in a bad airport hotel 3- food was awful, you find good food in Italy everywhere except at this location. Breakfast had old fruits, pastries 4- pool looks cheap and old, same depth everywhere, very deep even for adults. Pool was always crowded and there were kids wearing no swimsuits, peeing on glass cups and on the pool. Just offensive and unsanitary 5- room keys stopped working after first day and we had to walk from our room outside main building all the way to reception several times on second day under scorching 100 sun to get new keys. Happened at least 4 times in a. Day 6- on the first day I realized there was no way I was going to stay there for 2 nights, Expedia agreed to cancel my second night at no charge however the hotel management refused to let me leave without paying in full for a room that I would t be using In summary, in you want a low end, low class, bad service experience, this is the place for you.

Fin stor trädgård med läge utanför city, mycket bra service på ett klassiskt vis. Shuttlebuss in till centrum och hem som funkade bra. Bra frukostbuffé som höll en hög standard. Rummen var i äldre stil och väldigt charmiga, städningen var ypperlig. Helikopter-platta finns i närheten om man har ont om tid:-)

In all honesty, the service wasn’t wonderful and the room seemed more basic than what we expected but the property itself was stunning and we enjoyed the convenience of the shuttles into the city. The room was also cleaned well.

I highly recommend Villa Olmi. The staff was incredible. I travel a lot and the service and facilities were first-class. My wife and booked a room that we felt was too small for us for the entire week. The lady at the front counter (I never asked her name) was so accomodating and helped us upgrade to one of the most incredible room which was right out of a fairytale (Pro-tip: reserve Room 312 if you get the chance). Tons of parking and instant access to the highway made Villa Olmi a great choice as a home base for traveling Tuscany. It's a quick cab ride in to Florence and easy access to Pisa, Sienna etc by car. We had rented a hybrid and was happy to be able to use their complimentary on-site EV charging. They had a great continental breakfast and incredible dining options. When you stay here, you feel like Royaly and part of the family. They have paid attention to every detail. Villa Olmi made our first visit to Italy so much more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team.

Beautiful hotel just outside of Florence. Beautiful rooms in the hotel and felt like I was staying in a private villa. Staff was lovely and it was great to have access to a pool after hot days in the city.

Absolutely incredible trip. The hotel was stunning. The grounds, the pool area, the decor, the rooms, all of it was absolutely spotless and beautifully done. The service was amazing, nothing was an issue and everyone was so lovely. Location wise it is around 10/15 minutes in a taxi into the city centre. You have the best of both worlds. The hotel feels like you are in the countryside with beautiful surroundings but yet so close to the city. We will definitely return.

Wonderful, lush surroundings and amenities, good food, fine service, but the classic suite was a little small and the walls were paper thin so that normal level conversations could be heard in neighboring suite.

Had a great two night stay at this Hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. The pool was a perfect temperature, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the local area had a good range of very local restaurants for dinner / places to get coffee or breakfast in the mornings! When we arrived we were told our room had been upgraded for free, so we luckily got a small outdoor area to enjoy the sun. The bed was comfy and facilities were good. The only negative is that the air conditioning system in our room (not sure if it is the same for others) was extremely loud.

Very charming hotel, located just outside Florence with shuttle service to the center, lovely pool and patio/bar area and the general garden and parking facilities are beautiful. Unfortunately our room was quite small and with a window facing straight into a wall. However not a big deal as we spend most of the time pool side and exploring Florence. But i do suggest trying to get a room with a better view for the full experience.

This was our favorite stay in Italy, the gardens and the villa were beautiful. Our room was quite spacious with our own private garden. About a 15 minute drive to central Florence so it was nice to be away from the craziness. I was impressed by how dog friendly they were, my dog felt right at home running in the gardens. Staff were all very nice too.

The hotel is lovely. Very clean and quiet. We are finding that in Italy there are not many handicap rooms or parking spaces. Our room is extremely small. We needed a shower without a bathtub for my husband.

I highly recommend Villa Olmi. The staff was incredible. I travel a lot and the service and facilities were first-class. My wife and booked a room that we felt was too small for us for the entire week. The lady at the front counter (I never asked her name) was so accomodating and helped us upgrade to one of the most incredible room which was right out of a fairytale (Pro-tip: reserve Room 312 if you get the chance). Tons of parking and instant access to the highway made Villa Olmi a great choice as a home base for traveling Tuscany. It's a quick cab ride in to Florence and easy access to Pisa, Sienna etc by car. We had rented a hybrid and was happy to be able to use their complimentary on-site EV charging. They had a great continental breakfast and incredible dining options. When you stay here, you feel like Royaly and part of the family. They have paid attention to every detail. Villa Olmi made our first visit to Italy so much more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team.

The property is fantastic. However we were originally put into a small box room at the rear of the hotel. After asking for an upgrade we were shown a much better room in The same category. This is confusing as the hotel was not full at all. Why were we not shown the good room to start with? Also on check out, for a 4 night stay the hotel decided to add 90 euros service charge to our bill. Luckily I questioned this and had it removed , as we had tipped the waiters at every meal… I have never had such a charge added to my bill… A fantastic hotel but a couple of issues left us disappointed.

Vi er kommet på dette smukke hotel i 6 år. Vi nyder alt ved vores ophold. God mad i restauranten - en super god morgenmad med alt hvad man kan ønske sig. Vi får altid en rigtig finbehandling og personalet er fantastiske. Alt fungerer bare godt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Tak ❤️

Endroit splendide. Cependant le personnel n’est pas très à l’écoute. Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme. Hors nous avons eu la chambre au R.C qui donne sur la piscine et le jardin. La piscine est sensée fermée à 20h. Hors jusqu a 00h des enfants de familles devant probablement manger au restaurant de l’hôtel, ont hurlé et joué devant notre porte. Impossible de dormir. A 23h nous décidons d’appeler la reception pour qu’ils interviennent mais le cueilleur de nuit trouve seulement à nous répondre que le « restaurant va bientôt fermé et les gens partir ». Bref, une nuit pas du tout reposante. J’en informe la réception le lendemain au moment du check out, qui ne trouve qu’à me répondre qu’elle est désolée mais qu’elle n’était pas là la veille au soir donc qu’elle ne peut rien me dire de plus. De plus, cela est indépendant de l’hôtel malheureusement, mais la route donne juste à côté des jardins et il y a aussi des travaux. L’endroit est magnifique, mais pour un 4 étoiles, la direction devrait penser à former ses employés à être plus à l’écoute de leurs clients et à ne pas laisser accès aux jardins et la piscine donnant sur les chambre après 20h pour les personnes venant au restaurant.

It was pleasant surprise as I arrived at this property as it was same day booking when my long standing arrangement with another hotel was cancelled. I was greeted by friendly smiles from Isabella that makes us feel welcome. Good services from Franklin and the next day Giulia the concierge has been nothing but outstanding. They were available to my every beck and call. I would def stay at this place again. The outskirts of Florence is beautiful. A great place to soar in the country atmosphere

In all honesty, the service wasn’t wonderful and the room seemed more basic than what we expected but the property itself was stunning and we enjoyed the convenience of the shuttles into the city. The room was also cleaned well.

Warning to others about undisclosed gratuities. At checkout, after a 2-day stay, They added a €36 service fee to my bill. They told me this was for the kitchen, bar, reception, housekeeping, etc. They never told me at check-in about this gratuity so I had been leaving gratuities in the room each day of my stay and also tipping the baggage handler. This was an additional fee on top of the city tax. I had never eaten at the hotel (although we were charged for breakfast we never ate). I feel like they should have disclosed these gratuities at the very beginning at check-in before we started tipping the staff. Also the shuttle service advertised for the hotel is not free but costs €2.50 per person each way and must be reserved 24 hours before. Not very cheap or convenient so we simply walked out to the bus stop and took the bus. One evening for dinner we took a taxi to the center of town and it cost us over €50. Otherwise the hotel was nice and clean and had good AC. Our goal was to see the city of Florence and not to hang out at the hotel. So we basically only slept there. From our window we could see that the pool and grounds looked nice and the reception lobby also looked nice but again we didn't spend very much time there. One of the few positives was that the parking was free.

The Villa itself is complimented with beautiful gardens. We used the gym and the outdoor pool which in late April was peaceful innits location. We had a standard room which was spacious and beautifully decorated, and has tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves dinner and lunch, we are lunch twice on our stay and was delicious. Breakfast is plentiful and has a selection of hot and cold items including pastruss, fruit, cereals, hams & cheeses. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful which makes the stay just perfect. If you are lookig for a bit of luxury without being in the centr le this is your place. We will definitely stay here again if in Florence. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Olmi. We liked that it was outside of the city and having the pool to relax in after being in town was a bonus. The breakfast selection is very good with everything from yogurts, cheeses, eggs, fruit, nuts, vegetables, variety of breads, coffees, teas, etc. We enjoyed everything we had. There is a shuttle that runs from 9-11 am in the morning from the hotel and 5-7 in the evening. Pick up times are about a 10 min. walk from Florence from 9:30-11:30 am, and 5:30-7:30 pm. The staff was very helpful and breakfast staff very attentive. We would definitely return to Villa Olmi.

The property was wonderful, a joy to explore. Most of the staff proved excellent and eager to accommodate our needs. The property is far enough away from the busy downtown Florence area to be quiet & peaceful. The staff helped us set up taxis when needed or, of course, sign us up for the hotel's shuttle bus that runs three times a day to the city center. All-in-all, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We had an amazing stay at the Villa Olmi. It was the perfect respite after a day of sightseeing in Florence. The pool and the relaxing atmosphere, the bar and restaurant were incredible. We whole heartedly recommend this property

Amazing property, peaceful and friendly. Short taxi ride into Florence. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. All staff were so friendly.

A beautiful stay in the quiet outside area of Florence at a beautiful garden villa. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delightful and their wine selections were amazing. We highly recommend this location.

Vi er kommet på dette smukke hotel i 6 år. Vi nyder alt ved vores ophold. God mad i restauranten - en super god morgenmad med alt hvad man kan ønske sig. Vi får altid en rigtig finbehandling og personalet er fantastiske. Alt fungerer bare godt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Tak ❤️

Amazing space away from the Florentine hustle and bustle. We were lucky with the weather, so the pool was a god send. Breakfast was varied and well prepared, although the hot choices were a little cool. Room was decent, maybe a bit small, but an amazing view from both sides. Towels were poor for such an expensive hotel and the fridge wasn’t very cold once more than the supplied water was in. Drinks were expensive, and no draught beer, which was disappointing - wine was good but should be for 11 euros a glass!! We took a walk into Bagna a Ripoli, which is around a mile away where there are a couple of bars and a supermarket. The shuttle into Florence is a nice touch but I believe it used to be complimentary, now 2.50pp. A fabulous place, with beautiful grounds and welcoming staff. My only real criticism would be the price - it’s a good 4 star hotel that costs more than many 5 star ones.

Otroligt vackert hotell. Fantastisk service. Vi blev uppgraderade till en svit och rummet var det finaste jag bott på.

Fin stor trädgård med läge utanför city, mycket bra service på ett klassiskt vis. Shuttlebuss in till centrum och hem som funkade bra. Bra frukostbuffé som höll en hög standard. Rummen var i äldre stil och väldigt charmiga, städningen var ypperlig. Helikopter-platta finns i närheten om man har ont om tid:-)

We recently spent a week at Villa Olmi and had the most incredible time. The hotel itself is beautiful, a peaceful oasis to escape the busy city. The grounds were kept beautifully and the pool area in particular felt so pristine, plenty of fresh towels, super clean and drinks/food delivered to your sun bed- a total dream! Rooms were great with air con that kept them cool during the recent heatwave. Our room near the pool was the perfect location too, literally steps to our sun beds. The bathrooms could do with updating I feel, but they were fine and kept clean. All staff at the hotel were so lovely, warm and welcoming. The reception team were always helpful with questions we had (for example needing a different adapter for our plugs!). The wait staff were also all very attentive and friendly. The housekeeping team also- working that job during hot weather must be tough but they were so smiley and kind. Food at breakfast was great, such a good selection. The restaurant was also super tasty and a lovely setting to have dinner. One comment would be more of a varied menu, we were there for a week and the menu didn’t change so we did go elsewhere for variety. The shuttle bus was very useful and a great addition to have as it’s too far to walk into Florence. However I think a later shuttle bus to allow staying out for dinner would have been great, also dropping closer to the city centre as the 20 min walk from the bus was hard in the heat. Overall an excellent stay!
