Really enjoyed this hotel especially the live music in the pub nightly. Three ladies were exceptional musicians and singers and showcased perfectly Irish music. Hotel was close to shopping and countless restaurants and parking was great to explore the surrounding countryside.

Classic hotel with kind staff in the perfect location. Short walk to/from the train station. Surrounded by pubs, restaurants, and shopping, with a taxi rank down the street if you need to go farther. As a bonus, it even has a pub (Buckley's) attached. Offering hearty food, live music, and a cozy fire. Absolutely loved staying here.

Wonderful staff and very spacious rooms. Stayed in a triple room (for 3 people) and it was more than big enough. Very warm feeling in this hotel. Breakfast in the morning was really good. Good quality food and you can tell they put their heart into their service. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. I would stay again.

The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was fantastic. My room was facing the street so quite noisy but I’m a heavy sleeper so I was fine. The shower had hair on the floor when I got there and I couldn’t tell if the floor was just old or not quite clean. Overall a fine stay considering the main goal was to go around the ring of Kerry, not to stay in my hotel room! The location was great for nearby eats & pubs too.

It's an old property but very well kept and above all, the staff is great. Asking for an internal room could solve the outside noise issue though the internal sound proofing is not great so have some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. On Saturday evenings and Sundays all day, the public car park is free of charge. Overall great value for money and would stay here again.

Great welcome at reception. We were a bit early but they got us our room quickly and in the meantime brought us some coffee and scones. Awesome service. Room was big and most comfortable bed we’ve had on this trip! A very nice place to stay.

perfect location to walk from the shuttle and to catch the train when we left. I felt as though we were in a museum during our stay, it’s a beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and all the amenities that we could ask for.

perfect location to walk from the shuttle and to catch the train when we left. I felt as though we were in a museum during our stay, it’s a beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and all the amenities that we could ask for.

Classic hotel with kind staff in the perfect location. Short walk to/from the train station. Surrounded by pubs, restaurants, and shopping, with a taxi rank down the street if you need to go farther. As a bonus, it even has a pub (Buckley's) attached. Offering hearty food, live music, and a cozy fire. Absolutely loved staying here.

Wonderful staff and very spacious rooms. Stayed in a triple room (for 3 people) and it was more than big enough. Very warm feeling in this hotel. Breakfast in the morning was really good. Good quality food and you can tell they put their heart into their service. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. I would stay again.

Three generations of family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The character of the building is charming, the food delicious, and the staff are amazing! We also loved the location, near the Christmas Market.

Great location, hotel staff very warm and welcoming, bar staff friendly and enjoyed a few drinks in the evenings with live music. Bedrooms spacious and clean, bathroom spotless, breakfast was cooked fresh to order, plenty of hot and cold selection on offer, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a great place to stay! The atmosphere is good and the rooms large and clean. Breakfast was tremendous (get the French Toast). Location is perfect in town and near the bus and train stations.

This is our 4th stay at this lovely family run hotel in downtown Killarney. The staff is so friendly and helpful and we love the attached pub Buckley’s that has traditional Irish music nightly. Added bonus this year was the A/C that we haven’t needed in the past but was happy we had this time.

The Arbutus Hotel takes customer service to a whole new level. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The servers and receptionist were particularly attentive to my mother's gluten restriction with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in a beautiful building with lots of intricate decorations and objects to look at. Our room, however, needed work. The heating came through an overhead fan that made noise every time the vents opened or shut, so I had to sleep with earplugs. The bathroom fan was also loud. The lights were confusing to operate, and one of the bedside lamps didn't work. The room was mostly clean, but the shower had some mold.

I enjoyed the quaint ambience very much. Our room was a generous size, which we appreciated. The staff were all delightful. We dropped by the pub Saturday night and the musicians were very talented, playing traditional Irish music that had me toe-tapping. My main suggestion is about food because I am Celiac and need gluten-free options. The options were limited, and I would have liked to have a small fridge in the room for food I keep with me because of the limited menu options I often am dealing with.

Top notch hotel with a great staff. It has an old-school vibe which is very charming. Great pub next-door that is more locals, which is nice versus all the tourist traps along the street.
