Great apartment hotel in Merchant City. Close to city center, restaurants and bars. Good standard and everything you need for a stay. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom with toiletries and kitchen perfect for breakfast / small meals. We also used the laundry room - very convenient. Plus for the cooling fan as it was a heat wave when we visited.

Well situated with a huge apartment fully equipped for cooking. Great bathroom as well. Only downside our room was stuck to a big air pipe which was always noisy and the windows isolation was not the best. There was on site possibility to access a fitness pretty well equipped.

Very easy access to go in or out. No steps at the entrance and 2 lifts or stairway to get to rooms through wide corridor. Bed and bedding very comfortable, very clean and nicely furnished. Happy! Carpark right beside hotel.

An excellent find. Very clean and highly appointed a great place for stays of 2 nights plus. In the heart of the Merchant quarter it is a 10 minute walk from Queens train station and the centre of town. No complaints whatsoever. The staff are efficient, friendly and very helpful.

There was a sanitary napkin left on the floor by the bed. Thankfully unused but still not what you want to find laying around. There was mold behind/ beside Shower fixtures. Furniture is black, dust showed in all corner and lower shelves.

This property needs a lick of bright paint, the rooms are dark and need upgraded, it’s a shame as the rooms are a good size. We asked to change rooms as the first one they gave us looked right onto the multi storey car park… they did move us to the front of the building which is a bit noisier and unfortunately the windows aren’t double glazed. Felt the carpet could do with a good proper clean too but the bed sheets were absolutely fine.

Our room was hot and stuffy. Leaving windows open was noisey as we faced a parkade that always had noisy fans. The bar/restaurant noise was until well after midnight. The room itself was large, while the accessible bathroom was large enough as well but had a horrible cigarette odour.

Great stay over the TRNSMT weekend. Room was huge and staff were nice. Windows were only single glazed (so a bit noisy with road traffic) and the curtains need a bit of TLC. Would come back!

No air conditioning.Sleeping room totally with out ventilation.Legal ?? There was a mobile fan for "cooling" .This was noisy and had a very short cable so the the fan could not be moved around.Opening windows resulted in lot of noise from the backyard and traffic. The staff was not very friendly when we complained. We stayed two days the rooms were not cleaned .

The 1 bedroom apartment was nice, a little dated but comfortable. We checked in on a Sunday and at 9pm the pub downstairs music was ridiculously loud and the living room and bedroom floor was vibrating with the noise. We complained to the manager and he was incredibly responsive and gave us a room on the 4th floor, which was lovely, more modern and no sound of the music from the pub! The room was very warm but it does have AC and also fans which were needed. I am so happy with the managers response to our issue and how he dealt with it, many thanks

Because of the nature of it being an old building with uninsulated creaky wooden floors, the noise from the people above me was extremely disturbing. It’s not that the people were noisy. They were just moving around but from 7:30 in the morning till midnight made it very stressful with human activity sounding like a herd of stampeding cattle. Street noise was also loud with drunks partying in the street and shouting at 3 in the morning.

Hotel was nice and central, reasonably tidy and large rooms, but why, in 2025 would you stay in a room with no air conditioning. The hotel is very old, and there is a musty smell throughout. Air conditioning would have made all the difference. this hotel was expensive and highly rated. I am unsure why.

Fabulous property and staff. Apartment amazing in every respect with lovely high ceilings. Based on past reviews I asked for a high floor room (got 3rd floor facing street) which had secondary glazing. But the noise late at night even on a Wednesday went on till just after midnight. So amazing place just sadly let down by something totally outside its control.

Despite rooms available no early check in was allowed unless you paid an hourly fee. That is so against customer service and makes for a horrible introduction to the hotel. Also we back in a large garbage area with loud garbage pick up and dumping very late into the night. Walking from upstairs was also very loud in the room. The staff were friendly but couldn’t change their check in policy.

The room and bed and kitchen were top-notch. The location has lots to do and good transport. Communication was lacking. I didn't get the discount code for parking or my wifi code in time to use them. There are no clear instructions on how to get from parking to hotel. The staff are not forthcoming or well informed. Disappointing, because the room was really comfortable. Except that there is no way to control the temperature, which was too warm for me at night.

We arrived in Glasgow early and took our bags to the suites for safe keeping whilst we went for something to eat. Rachel offered to look after them for us but then saw that she could check us in earlier and upgraded us from an executive suite to an executive one bed apartment. The staff were fantastic throughout our visit and the apartment was brilliant. The apartment was very well maintained, plenty of space, everything you would need if you wanted to cook and very comfortable. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. There was everything we needed, hair dryer, iron, slippers, bathrobes, glassware, tea and coffee and snacks. The whole suites were extremely well maintained and looked after and we had a great stay. The location is excellent close to some great places to eat and visit. We went to the OVO Hydro Arena and was short walk and easy transit on the train. Next time in Glasgow we will certainly be looking at Fraser Suites as our preferred place to stay. Thank you to Rachel and the rest of the staff who made our stay most enjoyable.

We arrived early and had them store our luggage. There were 8 of us and the employee simply handed us 8 claim tickets. When we returned to check in, they had a difficult time giving us our luggage because the tickets we each gave them didn’t match the luggage they pulled out of the storage area. We suggested they pull out everything and we would tell them which was ours, but they were reluctant to do that. They made a simple process difficult. We had two rooms, 4 in each and we had to request additional towels for both rooms. And there was only decaf coffee in the room and only enough for two. Seems like they hadn’t prepared the rooms for 4. But the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable

When we returned to check in, they had a difficult time giving us our luggage because the tickets we each gave them didn’t match the luggage they pulled out of the storage area. We suggested they pull out everything and we would tell them which was ours, but they were reluctant to do that. They made a simple process difficult. We had two rooms, 4 in each and we had to request additional towels for both rooms. And there was only decaf coffee in the room and only enough for two. Seems like they hadn’t prepared the rooms for 4. But the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable

The room was very clean and comfortable. The towels were big and the very modern bathroom had L'Occitane toiletries and a great shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location with lots of places to eat and drink, but that does make it a little noisy, but great when you don't have a car and prefer to walk around.

The 1 bedroom apartment was nice, a little dated but comfortable. We checked in on a Sunday and at 9pm the pub downstairs music was ridiculously loud and the living room and bedroom floor was vibrating with the noise. We complained to the manager and he was incredibly responsive and gave us a room on the 4th floor, which was lovely, more modern and no sound of the music from the pub! The room was very warm but it does have AC and also fans which were needed. I am so happy with the managers response to our issue and how he dealt with it, many thanks

This location is great. Walking distance to Queen St railway. Lots of restaurants, shops, and pubs walking distance as well. We had two issues with this place. Our room was located behind the Irish Pub so it was very loud until 3am. In addition the hair dryer only blew cold air. I asked 3 staff members if I could get another one and each one said no. It was disappointing they couldn’t replace it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

No issues- location was great in Glasgow Scotland. quiet during the week, just a little construction during the day but at good hours. The pubs near by were loud on weekends but not too bad at all. Staff all very nice.

Can't fault the apartments. Maybe a little expensive. An earlier check-in before 4 o'clock would certainly help. You're literally only getting to stay in your apartment at night if only there for a day.

Apartment was nice however first room was just above a bar which is open to 3am. Other pubs and clubs within earshot. Noise outside was bad then had the clean up road sweep around 4 and the clock bell tower outside chimming from 8am. I did request a move and they gave me another room on the 3rd floor which was an upgrade, however the noise was not much better still lots of shouting and laughing outside at 5am. Not a location for sleep. Staff were nice and did all they could.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious with a very large comfortable bed but not much natural light. I would have liked the option of a hot breakfast but that is just my personal choice. The hotel is situated in a lively part of town with a large selection of bars and restaurants. This is great for those of you who like to party into the wee hours or heavy sleepers but I wouldn’t recommend if you are not. It is very noisy at night, right into the early hours which is the only downside to Fraser Suites for me. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay but the noise outside from the bars did keep us awake.

We had a lovely stay in the Fraser Suites. We had an executive apartment which had loads of space. Perfect for a couple of nights stay. The location was good as a short walk to the centre. Loved the coffee machine, and toiletries in the bathroom. Me being quite short would have found it easier if the hand toiletries were put to the right hand wall so I could reach them as the sink was quite deep so difficult for me to get to them on the back wall. One thing that would have made the stay perfect for me was to have a full length mirror in the apartment, Breakfast was good and the person working that day was very friendly and attentive. Would have been nice to have to have more options of fresh fruit but apart from that we enjoyed it.

Very good experience. Great central location, spacious and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Great shower and luxury toiletries. We were upgraded from a studio to a one bed apartment without asking which was a nice surprise. Also very nice continental breakfast at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

The property itself was nice. Rooms are big and spacious. However, it’s in a loud area, bars all around and it is super loud. From the people yelling back and forth to the live music. It is not a quiet location at all. But it is only a half mile away from George Square so I guess it’s expected. Our room was really hot and the noise was worse because we had to open the windows. Be warned, breakfast is £8 and not hot. It’s a small selection of pastries, cereals, yogurt, and fruit. For a couple pounds more I suggest going to Sorriso Cafe around the corner, great food.

Our suite was very spacious and quite luxurious compared with other places we have stayed. A well equipped kitchen and spacious, comfortable sitting area makes it great for staying in. Close enough to town centre and amenities without being noisy.

Great location, easy parking, the only thing was the bar/restaurant beside was dumping their bottle in glass in a bin until 11 PM every hour that was very noisy ! If not the room was beautiful and I like the kitchen !

The matress on the bed had been soiled the by the previous occupants. The bed had been changed with clean linen but was still soaking wet. They changed us to another room, which on inspection the matress was badly stained, they then gave us a suit with 2 bedrooms , 1 of which had a stained matress. Not going back

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Fraser Suites. I chose the accommodation based on location, price, availability of gym and photos. I saw some comments that said their room was a bit outdated. That maybe true but these are superficial things. My studio was fantastic. The bed very comfortable, the bathroom perfect with the rainforest shower and the large bath. It was great to have a safe as well as a living room area. I also used the kitchen to make tea. Everything was spotless clean. I had no issue using the gym and it was adequate for my needs. I did not have to wait around either for others to finish. I would like to say a huge thank you to Krishan on concierge. He went the extra mile to make my stay memorable, above and beyond what I expected.
