The Station house is always very clean with friendly helpful staff. There is usually entertainment and it is a good place to eat. I was a bit disappointed however with the choice of fruit at breakfast everything at breakfast was fine but they need to provide a bigger and better choice of fruit.

This is a great hotel with wonderful food and entertainment. Paul is particularly helpful and was amazing. The hotel is clean and modern. The only drawback is the traffic noise and the street racing. Dunes is right across the street and there are many shopping opportunities close by. Free parking was very handy!

I liked everything about the hotel, apart from the small car park that is shared with locals and also the the main road outside seems to be used by people who drive cars with very loud exhausts. Hotel was very busy with an American tourists so didn’t try to change room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

It was perfectly located near downtown sites but a bit noisy being on a busy street. Staff were very polite and we enjoyed the live Irish music in the hotel bar.

We had a very dirty bathroom upon arrival. Then our card to open our door would t work. All night you could hear people from the bottom floors screaming and being extra loud. In the am the cleaners would slam doors over and over and to top it off tried to come into our room way before check out time. Don’t know how this place got so many awards. I would stay away from here

Really enjoyed our latest trip to Station House Hotel, Letterkenny, as frequent users of the hotel there seems to have been some renovations. Rooms newly floored, spacious and very clean with everything we needed for a short break. Staff friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfy, fresh & we slept well. Would highly recommend for location, hearty breakfast, parking, getting out & about & price.

The hotel was absolutely spotless throughout. My room was comfortable and had all required facilities however It was noisy from outside traffic. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Nice hotel, seems to be a "center of activity" for Letterkenny - two dining rooms, bar, music at night. Nice sized room, good bathroom, very clean, though mine was near the elevator, hence a few inconsiderate people quite loud in the middle of the night. If you stay there, don't miss going to Cathedral, very beautiful, and dine at The Lemon Tree (fa-bu-lous!), both within walking distance from the hotel due to its great location.

Overall the experience was very good, staff, service, location and dining. However the very large window in our room was moving significantly during a very stormy first night of our stay. I spoke to reception but no one came to the room to check. The window frame creaked and groaned all night. The second night was a bit better but as it was windy on the third night, the noise was so distracting, i got very little sleep again.

The room was clean, spacious. Comfy bed, pillows a bit hard (but I like soft ones, would probably be grand for others). Very little toiletries, just shampoo /shower gel in the shower and bar of soap, so take your own if you are staying. Agood amount of instant coffee singles and tea in the room which I liked,. Nice bar /restaurant area downstairs lovely paint of guess and nice food, breakfast was usual stuff, but nice, gresnd loads of food and drink. I would definitely stay again

Spent 3 Nights in room 203 on a B&B Basis. Room was very clean and serviced daily. No Air Con only a heat thermostat and even when turned off room was still very warm. We had to open windows at night and there was a lot of street traffic. We had dinner on 2 evenings and menu had a decent choice and food was high quality.

Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Nicely decorated. Good location. Had to turn off radiator as the room far too warm (December time) (a good complaint). A lot of noise in corridors and from other rooms very early in the morning which was very annoying when trying to sleep. Good food and quick turnaround.

Room was large. Strange rubber ramp up to bathroom. The place smelled like a tire store, but got better when we opened a window. Neighbors partied next door until 2:30 am so I didn’t sleep much. The bar and restaurant were great. Prices were good. Would return, but only to eat and drink.

Truely a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The most important part was the staff, from the greeting at reception to the most professional and courteous restaurant staff and staff servicing the rooms, each and every one was the part that made this particular hotel experience stand out as excellent.

We stayed 3 nights. The location is about a 17 minute walk from the bus station. Take Pearse Street, there is less of an incline. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of shelf space, nice towels and spacious shower area. The drain was a little sluggish but it did work. We liked the big windows as they made the room more airy & bright. If you keep the windows closed at night, it reduces the traffic noise. The on-site restaurant was also good. The fresh fish special of the day was quite tasty & the batter was cooked to near perfection. We enjoyed the live performance of Irish music one evening. It was lovely. All the staff we interacted with were quite friendly and helpful.

We stayed here two nights while in Letterkenny. We were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was good. Some hot items (eggs, sausages, hash browns, bacon). They have a parking lot in the back and we had no problems finding a space. Great location, you can walk to most of the restaurants. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

I cannot praise this hotel enough. The room was spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The heavy curtains were able to keep the room very dark during the day if desired. The communial areas and lift were also clean and well serviced. The breakfast is buffet style and absolutely banging. All the cooked breakfast components are of high quality and in abundance. The attached bar and restaurant - the depot- has a train station theme and is also very clean, good value for money - a Guinness is €5.30 - the food of a high standard and good size portions. In all a very good 5 night stay run by well trained and pleasant staff who were happy to help with anything we asked about. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

It is a really nice clean hotel with friendly and efficient staff. If I have a quibble, and it is a minor one, it was the absence of fresh fruit from the breakfast buffet. Only canned fruit was available. Again let me reiterate that the hotel staff were excellent.

The Station house is always very clean with friendly helpful staff. There is usually entertainment and it is a good place to eat. I was a bit disappointed however with the choice of fruit at breakfast everything at breakfast was fine but they need to provide a bigger and better choice of fruit.

The room was clean, spacious. Comfy bed, pillows a bit hard (but I like soft ones, would probably be grand for others). Very little toiletries, just shampoo /shower gel in the shower and bar of soap, so take your own if you are staying. Agood amount of instant coffee singles and tea in the room which I liked,. Nice bar /restaurant area downstairs lovely paint of guess and nice food, breakfast was usual stuff, but nice, gresnd loads of food and drink. I would definitely stay again

En general bien, pero para una cena pedi su "roast beef". Más que descepcionante, era carne mas bien sobre cocida tal vez a "olla de presion", y carente de los jugos de la misma carne y gravy.

The hotel was absolutely spotless throughout. My room was comfortable and had all required facilities however It was noisy from outside traffic. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Staff is helpful. The plug of the sink got stuck and someone came to fix it quickly. The room is comfy with plenty of towels.

Twin accessible room was really big. Once we made it through the very heavy bedroom door, the accessibility was impressive. Roll in shower with seat, lots of grab bars. Large room with lots of space for the wheelchair. The beds were close though so only one of them was accessible from one side, the wheelchair couldn't fit between them. Unfortunately the hotel itself only had one accessible entrance, the main entrance on the main street corner. The other entrances did have a nod to a ramp, but not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. There were no disabled parking bays and the carpark had few spaces, especially considering the size of the hotel. The nearest entrance to the hotel from the carpark was through the restaurant and the entrance was not suitable for a wheelchair. This meant taking the wheelchair on the road into the carpark until we reached the dropped kerb, so we could get on the pavement and into the entrance. Staff were all really pleasant and did their best to help where they could. This included a staff member helping me at the buffet breakfast and carrying my plate to my table for me. Side note, provided toiletries consist of hand soap, shampoo and shower cap, so I'd suggest taking your own. You also go through lots of toilet roll as it is the thinnest toilet roll I have ever used. It literally needs to be folded at least 3 times before it can be used.
