Stayed many times at this property. Noisy depending on room location. Staff are nice when they’re in the mood to be. The pub has a nice patio. More suited for one night stays to catch a flight or tourist buses visiting Clare. Breakfast buffet needs improvement. Good parking. Walkable to a few spots in Shannon. Not suited for long stays.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The live singer in the bar on Saturday night was brilliant. The bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel and the breakfast was great. Lots of choice. We stayed to do a local parrun at Illmanaugh.

Really friendly welcome, we arrived wet and 3 hours early for our room this was not an issue for the hotel as our room was ready and we were allowed to go and get dry and head out into limerick for the evening. Food was fabulous try the Singapore noodles.

Great staff - friendly and helpful! Good food- breakfast buffet, lunch & dinner from menus Good variety of quality drink offerings (I heartily recommend a pint of Beamish, and my wife say you can’t go wrong with a Kopperberg!)

Very comfortable hotel with a fantastic friendly welcome and pleasant staff throughout. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant with great value but the only slight gripe we had was the measure of baileys served in the bar ( baileys should not be served as a whiskey measure ).

Great hotel and overall quiet setting near Shannon. We didnt partake in the restaurant. No reason specifically, but a local recommended a place in town that did not disappoint. I am sure by the impression and experience we had all iver Ireland, that the food here is probably excellent as well! The room was well appointed, clean, quiet and overall tastefully decorated location. Definitely if returining to the area we will stay again.

I was hoping to share some photos but there is not an option to do so. We were given a room that has a very very old bathroom. There are cracks with mold on the tiles. The faucet doesn’t work well, the floor is sticky and in general it doesn’t feel clean. It is very old. To get to our room we need to walk for a relative long distance when there wasn’t a cart offered for our luggage. To get to the second floor there were a few flight of stairs before getting to the elevator. In general, for the >$200 USD per might it does not feel like it’s worth it. There are many smaller B&B around and I picked this hotel because the photos are nice. For the quality of the room, I would’ve just try my luck with much cheaper B&B instead. That being said, on our way out, we saw multiple rooms being cleaned and with their doors open. They all look much nicer and modern. So it’s totally possible that the hotel rooms are not all updated and we have different experience from other guests. Well, the inconsistency makes it a lottery for hotel guests I guess. The location is great for an airport hotel.

All the staff we interacted with were friendly and a great reflection for Treacys Oakwood hotel. The rooms were clean and the food at breakfast was varied with the hot breakfast particularly good! We highly recommend this hotel and will be booking it again when we return to Shannon and Ireland.

The hotel room itself was fairly clean but the ratings on Hotel.com gives it a 4.4 rating. The carpeting throughout the hotel is extremely old and it is very dated. It was fairly quiet throughout the night and it is convenient to the Shannon airport. If you want a place to stay for the night before flying out then this is the place. The room did not have air conditioning and it was my oversight not noticing that. I believe it is a very overpriced hotel stay for the condition of the establishment.

Perfect place to stay for our last night in Ireland. Very convenient to Shannon, fuel stop next store to gas up the rental, and a restaurant on site (pizza also across the street). Room was comfortable and quiet. Very satisfied.

This was an okay place for our one night stay. A quick five minute drive to the airport worked out well. The hotel is rather dated. We had to take the stairs to our room- not easy with heavy suitcases. The bed was not the most comfortable and the room itself was quite basic. All in all, if you are heading to the airport, this works, just feels overpriced for the hotel itself.

It was far too warm in our room and the provided fan was not sufficient to cool it for sleeping. There was too much noise outside to leave the window open, so sleeping was quite a challenge.

It is not the fault of the staff, but of the design of the shower. It is elevated and flat with a smooth surface and was slippery. Water poured out into the bathroom area and soaked the carpet near the door. The bar staff was not up to par. My daughter and I sat there for nearly 10 minutes waiting for the 2 young women to come take our order. I actually had to wave one over. I wondered how long they would have made us wait if I hadn't. Also, we asked for a food menu and waited and waited until asking again. The bartender (a male this time) at least told us that he'd forgotten.

I had to cancel due to air travel weather conditions and the hotel would not allow me to cancel I know it’s policy but it is bad policy This isn’t customer friendly service and I won’t forget to mention this to people traveling to this area of Ireland

We had a good stay overall. Clean, quiet, convenient. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Only problem was when we checked in we were given an already occupied room. Fortunately the guests were not there or it could have been extremely awkward.

We stayed in this hotel several years ago and were impressed with it's cosy atmosphere, service, etc. Sadly we were disappointed this time. The first thing that struck us was the very stained reception carpet. We were checked in by a guy who didn't seem to be well-trained. We had a comfortable room. Breakfast was predictable and despite there being no less than seven dining staff standing around chatting, service was poor. The buffet was covered in Rice Krispies which no one bothered to clean-up. We would think twice about staying here again which is a shame because it is very convenient to Shannon Airport. We did not feel it was good value for the price we paid. A few improvements and it could be so much better.

All the staff we interacted with were friendly and a great reflection for Treacys Oakwood hotel. The rooms were clean and the food at breakfast was varied with the hot breakfast particularly good! We highly recommend this hotel and will be booking it again when we return to Shannon and Ireland.

This was good as an "airport" hotel for me. The gas station was right next to it, so easy to fill the rented car on the way to return it, an easy 7 minute drive to the terminal. The room was nice, check in was good (a tad slow, but within expected limits). You might have a bit of a walk to your room.

Overall very enjoyable weekend stay, not much to do around the area of the hotel so hire car essential, the food was just about ok, but breakfast was brilliant

Really nice hotel that was perfect for our last night in Ireland. Proximity to the airport was close but without that airport hotel feel. Walkable to the local mall with shops and groceries, nice staff, good restaurant.

Perfect place to stay for our last night in Ireland. Very convenient to Shannon, fuel stop next store to gas up the rental, and a restaurant on site (pizza also across the street). Room was comfortable and quiet. Very satisfied.

The staff was wonderfully warm and helpful, especially Catherine at reception. She was incredibly helpful to us with travel information. It was a lovely stay and close to shopping, petrol, and bus transportation!

The staff were extremely nice and hospitable. The room was basic which was fine we were only stating one night. The restaurant food was pricey and not the best but I am picky when it comes to food so maybe other people enjoyed it. Overall the hotel was fine but the staff were the highlight of the stay thank you.

One night only but was out for most of the evening. Dined in the restaurant where service was prompt up to main course as we arrived after 9pm and ‘the kitchen was closing’. After main course was served, restaurant staff disappeared and the only staff were those using the restaurant as a thoroughfare on their way home off shift (presumably banqueting staff) who didn’t look left or right in case someone asked them something…. Which I did try to do. Eventually got service to finish off our meal. Room was fine even though it was overlooking a service yard and breakfast was tasty with a good selection of continental items and hot buffet

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The live singer in the bar on Saturday night was brilliant. The bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel and the breakfast was great. Lots of choice. We stayed to do a local parrun at Illmanaugh.

We stayed in this hotel several years ago and were impressed with it's cosy atmosphere, service, etc. Sadly we were disappointed this time. The first thing that struck us was the very stained reception carpet. We were checked in by a guy who didn't seem to be well-trained. We had a comfortable room. Breakfast was predictable and despite there being no less than seven dining staff standing around chatting, service was poor. The buffet was covered in Rice Krispies which no one bothered to clean-up. We would think twice about staying here again which is a shame because it is very convenient to Shannon Airport. We did not feel it was good value for the price we paid. A few improvements and it could be so much better.

This was a perfect stay for ending our visit to Ireland and leaving from Shannon Airport. The front desk person was outstanding in resolving a misunderstanding we had, and she made me want to come again.

Although it was just an overnight stay to catch our flight the next morning, the room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were probably the best we had in our 2-week stay in Ireland. The only thing that I probably would have liked would to have been informed on check-in whether I want to include the breakfast. It was offered on-site when I booked but being a non-refundable room, I didn't want the extra cost in case of any issues that came up where I had to cancel.
