Such a beautiful, quaint, wonderful place to stay in the middle is everything on the Left Bank/St.Germaine/Latin Qtr. area. Right behind you is the stunning Jardin de Luxembourg, you must see! Plus the cafes, the Pantheon just down the street, easy bus access to places all over the city, are so convenient. The decor, from the dining room, sitting room and guest rooms are so French chic! Such comfortable furnishings too. The breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful! The staff are so very kind, eager to please and very accommodating. It’s very safe too. Highly recommend this charming place. This is my 4th visit to Paris & I’ve stayed other places, but I will only return here from now on!

I felt this stay was satisfactory but the hotel could easily make some improvements without spending a lot of money which would bring the quality up significantly, for example, get rid of antiquated decor items like dust covered fruit baskets, floral fabric drapes from 60’s, bird cages, etc. Replace the carpet, mattresses (which felt like sleeping in a box spring, and add coffee makers and blow driers. The hotel is in a great location and could be made great with little effort. Good to great with little effort.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to land for our first stay in Paris. Laurent at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming: he made us feel right at home. Everything about the hotel was charming: from the historic decor, courtyard, delicious breakfast, and romantic windows. The location was perfect for walking to Jardín de Luxembourg with the kids and there were lots of great shops around. As our plane took off, we all agreed we couldn’t possibly stay anywhere else when we return to Paris.

Had a great 7-night stay. We really enjoyed it. Very convenient location and good access to public transportation. Room is clean, and the front desk has been courteous and helpful. Had some wifi issue during the first several days , which got better later. Would not hesitate to book again if chances arise.

Well located near rer for airport transport and Luxembourg gardens. Lots of moderately priced restaurants nearby. Quick walk for metro and morning coffee. Clean and comfortable but a bit pricey for what you get.

A lovely little hotel situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a perfect location enabling you to walk to all the major sights in Paris with lots of eating options within less than a five minute walk. The metro is also only a five minute walk away. Although very charming, the hotel badly needs a refurbishment.

We loved our stay at Relais Medici - the staff was excellent, the room was great for 4 people, the location was perfect, and the beds were comfortable (we slept so well!). They were accommodating in keeping our luggage both before and after our check-in/check-out times, which was wonderful. We'll be back!

Having stayed in more than 30 different hotels in Paris this is my hotel choice now. Charming convenient to sites and restaurants. The staff could not be more accommodating. Laurent is a jewel. But so is the rest of the staff.

Well located near rer for airport transport and Luxembourg gardens. Lots of moderately priced restaurants nearby. Quick walk for metro and morning coffee. Clean and comfortable but a bit pricey for what you get.

A lovely little hotel situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a perfect location enabling you to walk to all the major sights in Paris with lots of eating options within less than a five minute walk. The metro is also only a five minute walk away. Although very charming, the hotel badly needs a refurbishment.

Having stayed in more than 30 different hotels in Paris this is my hotel choice now. Charming convenient to sites and restaurants. The staff could not be more accommodating. Laurent is a jewel. But so is the rest of the staff.

Such a beautiful, quaint, wonderful place to stay in the middle is everything on the Left Bank/St.Germaine/Latin Qtr. area. Right behind you is the stunning Jardin de Luxembourg, you must see! Plus the cafes, the Pantheon just down the street, easy bus access to places all over the city, are so convenient. The decor, from the dining room, sitting room and guest rooms are so French chic! Such comfortable furnishings too. The breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful! The staff are so very kind, eager to please and very accommodating. It’s very safe too. Highly recommend this charming place. This is my 4th visit to Paris & I’ve stayed other places, but I will only return here from now on!

Overall, this was a good hotel, but not worth the price. They try but miss the mark. To start the locks on the room doors are a learning curve as there is no handle, the shower handle was very loose combined with high water pressure which made for something out of a comedy movie as water went everywhere. Also the breakfast was 15 euros each and a disappointment. On the upside the location and friendly staff almost made up for the state of the hotel.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to land for our first stay in Paris. Laurent at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming: he made us feel right at home. Everything about the hotel was charming: from the historic decor, courtyard, delicious breakfast, and romantic windows. The location was perfect for walking to Jardín de Luxembourg with the kids and there were lots of great shops around. As our plane took off, we all agreed we couldn’t possibly stay anywhere else when we return to Paris.

Charming boutique hotel in great location (Odeon Theater next door; Luxembourg Gardens within a short block; a dozen or more very good restaurants and cafes within 1 to 2 blocks). Front desk clerks were extremely friendly and helpful. Downsides: Lots of deferred maintenance. Our room was charming - looked into the small but delightful courtyard - but very dated. We stayed here in 2008 and loved the room decor, which was almost the same this time, possibly the very same(?). All could stand replacing as long as that can be done without spoiling the charm. Elevator interior walls were completely beaten up; not a big deal, but if you see something like that obviously in need of repair, you have to wonder about the inner workings of the hotel that you don't see. We'd love to stay here again because of the location and charm but probably wouldn't unless these things were addressed.

Centrally and conveniently located within walking distance to all museums and venues. Amazing staff, especially Laurent. Their breakfast offered on premises is a great value. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We traveled as a family and they were very happy to accommodate our requests. We will definitely return to the Relais Medici!

Super beliggenhed. Hotellet havde meget små værelser og vi var overrasket over det var queensize senge - de er for smalle! Safen på værelset virkede ikke og kun de franske tv kabler virkede på TV’et. Lidt for dårlig stand med for mange ting der ikke virkede, eller trængte til fornyelse. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og venlige.
