Would of like a gym on the property . Room a little small

Was in the a great area! Super walkable to the arc de Triomphe and the subway station was right down the street. View was amazing!!! Loved it, bathrooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay. Only thing was the ac wasn’t working but we opened the windows and it was enough to keep us cold, also it was weird to give our keys back to the front desk every time we left but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Loved our stay!

Good air con and fridge. No street noise and good location near underground transport, local restaurants and fast food. Good value

This was the best choice for the price range. One negative is the stairs was tight and a bit hard to use (although one could use the elevator instead).

I was extremely disappointed in our stay at Stella. The price is outrageous for what you get. The rooms are small - as expected - but they don’t even have a door to the bathroom. There is only a pony walk separating the area where the bed is and the bathroom facilities. Also, the shower has no shelf for soap etc. and it’s so small you can’t reach for products on the floor of the shower. Also, the website says the hotel has a bar - but it doesn’t. (You can purchase alcohol in the lobby from a mini fridge near reception - but there isn’t an actual .) Finally, the breakfast was terrible. They don’t offer anything hot (other than coffee/tea). The meats, cheeses, and fruit were stale. I would avoid the Stella!

The property is old and a bit run down, there were tears in wallpaper, and scratches and dents in things, room was super tiny… just enough to walk around the bed, there was hair on the ceiling in the bathroom when we got there and it never left- the shower leaked, and we asked for extra towels so that we could try and contain the water and they said no. Air conditioning didn’t work- and weirdest thing was they would only give us one key- and anytime you left you had to leave your key at the front desk- they said it was so they would know when to clean the room but I found it strange and have never had a hotel ask for the keys back when you’re leaving for a few hours / few minutes during your stay… On a plus side the view was nice (which was why I picked this place) and very close to metro stations- would recommend if you get a good deal (which we did)

I stayed with 2 people using a queen and a sofa bed . All comfortable , no bed bugs after search. The TV doesn’t have apps so bring your Roku. Easy to connect hdmi. Bathroom is huge and works well. I 100 percent recommend staying in the 6th floor room 637, or the other room on the street side. You’ll have a balcony where you can sit and admire the top of the Eiffel tower and arch down the street. The metro is up the block, and shops close by. Will stay again . Just know that the house keeping will come in and clean without warning midday. So just request if you don’t want it early. Great service desk, great room. We stayed in Stella for 5 nights and it was a great experience. This place is very near to metro station, taxi stand (G7), local breakfast places (we chose no breakfast option to be able to explore Paris local food) and great bistros and grocery stores - all very near and walkable (under 10 minutes). On day 1, they were able to provide us the room access earlier than their standard time - which was very helpful to relax after a long flight. Ours was big room with a double bed and a single bed. Room service kept room cleaned and well maintained every day without us requesting separately. On the checkout day, they even arranged a cab / taxi for us to drop to airport. Another thing to note is many attractions are walkable to this place - The Arc of Triomphe is 10 minutes walk from this place and the city tours stands (hop-on / hop-off style) are also very walkable from here. One thing which was bit odd initially to us (compared to US hotels experience) was hotel wanted to keep room key when we go outside. However, they told that they do this to make sure room is available for cleaning and no need to ask separately to get the room cleaned and towels changed. If you are not comfortable, may be lock your stuff in locker provided. Overall, great stay and we will stay again if we need to visit Paris anytime! :)

PRO: Stella was clean and staff was very nice. There is an elevator (slow and small but there is one) and a safe. It is very close to the Charles de Gaulle stop and M6 and you walk past the Arc de Triumph. Very easy to get around via Metro or the tour buses near the Arc. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by. CON: very expensive in Paris so bring Euro or Credit card. The room for two people was quite small, I was a single stay and fine for me. 2 would be a challenge. I was put right near the stairs so heard people going up and down all night. The view was a dirty courtyard but there were street views . Breakfast was not the diverse but for $16 you get scrambled eggs and some cheeses, vs $25 for an omelette in a restaurant. I wish the hotel used normal pillows with stability vs soft throw pillows, sitting up in bed is difficult. WiFi was very weak, for tourists using VPNs, not able to spool up and accept VPM since WiFi is too weak. I stayed in November, rainily and cold, low season, it was still 147 Euro so high season. Ouch ! However not the hotel’s fault this is the pricing in the area.

Had a good stay but my room was very dusty and the fridge smelled really bad, and there were some ants on the floor. The staff were very kind and friendly and the view with the balcony was great x

Walls are very thin, you can hear almost everything happening in every other room. Front desk staff were extremely nice though. Another issue was the the bathroom sink wasn’t draining, there was a filter attached to the piping that we removed to find clogged with hair. These should be cleaned between every guest but I guess not. Overall 3 stars

No air conditioning. The receptionist said that because it was hot outside, we shouldn't expect for the a/c to cool the room!!!! It was dirty and we found 2 spiders in the folded towels.

The cleaning is trash they left the same towel I used before and they don’t ask if u wnat your room clean or to not disturb they just go in

We checked into our room and upon exiting the elevator the floor and room smelled like mold. When we entered the room we found hairs on our bed as well as on the coat hanger. We tried to air out the room by opening the balcony door but that did not help. We called front desk and the man can duo and sprayed but that only lasted 20 minutes. When asked for a new room we were told that they were sold out and couldn’t change us. I questioned if the room was clean or not when we found a half drank soda on the refrigerator. My husband has asthma and is now sick as a result. The hotel is refusing to refund us despite being unwilling to give us another room.

The rooms were tidy but needed a deep clean. There were cup rings left on the tables, poop marks left on the toilet seat. The little details need to be addressed

We asked for a good view and they delivered! We had a balcony with a view of the Arc de Triomphe it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, room was on the small side and not so modern but it was satisfactory for the trip. Beautiful big mirror, powerful shower.

Single rooms too small and too hot. AC not functional, room was facing sun side of hotel and could not lower temperature. Ac would not work to cool room. Opened window but busy street made it hard to sleep. Shower is 70cm70cm so don’t drop the soap !!

Great location. Apartment was great for the night with a beautiful balcony view of the Arc!

The staff was quite friendly and helpful with tourist information. The room was clean, but too small for a 5 night stay. It was a single room so I didn’t expect it to be large, but there was minimal space to move around, the bed was uncomfortably firm and the bathroom wasn’t enclosed. I might stay again in a different room, but not the single.

Great area to stay! Very safe and walkable everywhere, rooms clean and decent, the only complain was the size of them! Super small! Hardly any room to place luggage, other than that I loved the balcony view and the service from staff, breakfast was ok, I wish it was included. This street can get very loud all night long. Not much with cars but loud people walking by and talking loud!

Sold on rooms with views, had a courtyard room, nothing to see. Good location and great service, dissatisfied with the room location.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The hotel could have been pleasant if not for one specific concierge on staff. Our family has never encountered such rudeness elsewhere. The female concierge in question yelled at my children and me for misplacing a plastic key. Her condescending and unkind behavior shocked us, and we hope the hotel's management recognizes the issue. With someone like her, no hotel can thrive. Perhaps she should consider anger management classes or a different career path. It is such a pity as Stella is located in such a prime location, and the price is so reasonable. The photos below depict her moments before she tried to threw my 16 year old son’s phone to the ground for filming her. That after screaming at him for losing the 10 cent plastic key. CRAZY

Sou suspeito para opinar - frequento o Stella Étoile há uns 30 anos!! Muito bem recebido. Hotel pequeno, aconchegante e, bem localizado. Como adoro a avenida des Champs Élysées, fácil de lá passear e acesso (uns 200 metros) do metrô / vai fácil para toda Paris! Agradeço a sra. Veroniqe por sua sempre atenção e presteza e simpatia no atendimento

After checking in we asked for extra towels and told no one gets extra towels. Also asked for one extra pillow and was told only housekeeping has them and front desk lady said I will receive it tomorrow. Next day when returning in the evening still no pillow. However the gentleman at the front deck was able to get even though housekeeping was gone. Most importantly there was black mold in our bathroom and they offered us different room.

HONEST REVIEW OF HOTEL STELLA ETOILE: A CAUTIONARY TALE** Positives: The hotel is clean and near the Arc de Triomphe. Most of the staff are friendly. Negatives: This hotel is full of restrictions that make it feel like a strict dormitory. First, you only get one room key, which has to be given to the front desk each time you leave. You can’t access your room without retrieving it, and it feels like they’re tracking you. I’ve never seen this policy in any other hotel. The no-visitors rule was particularly frustrating. My aunt, who was waiting for her husband’s delayed flight, came to see me. She left her purse in my room, and when she returned to get it, the staff became suspicious. They told her that visitors weren’t allowed and gave her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave, even though she was visibly upset. When I questioned the staff, they claimed my aunt's earlier visit seemed “suspicious.” I tried to explain that she was waiting to check in to her own nearby hotel, even showing them her room key, but they didn’t budge. The breakfast was also disappointing. It seemed microwaved, and they didn’t even have a way to warm a croissant. Save your money unless you’re okay with a toaster breakfast. Overall, the hotel’s strict policies made our stay uncomfortable. This was my first trip to Paris, solely to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Thankfully, she enjoyed the beautiful city—a small comfort during an otherwise frustrating experience.

Hotel is in a nice location with many great restaurants nearby and close to the Metro. The area outside the hotel was fairly quiet too. All but 1 staff was friendly. I was so excited to stay here but was extremely disappointed with our room. We were on the ground floor which was not pictured in any of the pictures provided. I booked this hotel based on the beautiful pictures and got a room with frosted glass panels covering the bottom half of the windows. It felt like we were in a basement. The lady who checked us in blamed me for not booking a higher class of room and was unsympathetic and told me I wouldn't need windows anyway because I would want A/C. The picture of the room type I booked did not match what we got at all. There was no offer for a discount or any other perk based on the false advertising, no apology. I found her defensive and rude. She said there was nothing she could do. Expedia tried reaching out on my behalf too and was told the same thing. Poor customer service. Our room was also right outside the elevator and stairs on the main level so we heard everyone coming and going and their suitcases. If you book a classic triple room, be wary.

Every member of the staff was attentive and kind. They were extremely accommodating for our last minute change in plans.

First and foremost the receptionist was very rude, it was my first time ever in Paris and for my first interaction it was not great at all. 2nd; we had to turn in our room key every time we decided to leave the hotel. I did not feel safe knowing I had to inform them every time I decided to leave. For what reason should they be aware of what I am doing ? 3rd the bed sheets and pillow cases were dirty. Had left over hairs on them and felt like they haven’t been washed in a while. Photos online are ABSOLUTELY deceiving and I would not recommend this place to worst enemy. It was so bad I left the hotel immediately and never wish to return.

Excellent value hotel right in the heart of Paris. Very convenient for metro, right next to Arch de Triomphe. Will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was great for our family. Travelling with 3 teens, we had two rooms down the hall from each other. It is centrally located close to the subway and steps away from the Champs d'Elysses and the Arc du Triomphe. Each room had little balconies with a chair facing the Arc and it was very atmospheric!

Our stay was clean only a few steps to the subway, and the staff was extremely helpful in helping plan transportation. It was a quiet and safe hotel and neighborhood, quintessential Parisian hotel beautiful view with a terrace. Everything to make my first trip to Europe perfect.

Great location

Tivemos uma excelente estadia no hotel, não pegamos com café da manhã para aproveitarmos e conhecermos os cafés da região, o que valeu bastante e indico que também o façam. Chegamos de metrô (a estação fica em frente praticamente) e está poucos metros do arco do triunfo e Champs Eliseés. Deu para conhecer muitos lugares andando.

The location is perfect, next to the Charles de Gaulle Étoile metro, you can get to all the tourist attractions downtown with minimal effort, the place is safe, it's within walking distance of Champs- Elysees. Top notch attention. I appreciate how early the breakfast is served, saved me a couple of times. Had a wonderful experience

We loved having dinner right there at the hotel (drinks also). The breakfast was very good , nice selection.The only negative comment would be the eggs were ice cold. I was so looking forward to some eggs but could not eat them. Everything else was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if you want an easy and stylish experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend.

Worst breakfast ever attention very poor

The hotel is not as nice as the pictures in the app look. The rooms are very basic and poorly decorated. Everything is old. Breakfast in basement without windows. Not worth the price. The location is good, but plenty of other hotels in the same neighbourhood.

Foi minha terceira vez nesse hotel e com certeza seguirei indo para lá estiver em Paris! Atendimento muito educado e pessoal, quarto limpo, cama confortável. Não indico o café da manhã pago, porque não vale a pena. Mas o hotel em si é excelente, a localização é perfeita.

The hotel was cozy and the room compact but nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including 24-hour front desk! The complimentary breakfast was excellent. And you can't beat the location 1 block from the Arc de Triomphe

Hotel é muito bem localizado, próximo ao Arco do Triunfo, metro, trem e muitas atrações turísticos. O café da manhã muito bom. O hotel está em ótimas condições e a moça da recepção muito simpática. Unica remarca, poderiam caprichar um pouco mais na limpeza dos espelhos e rejuntes do banheiro.
