Hotel Eden Montmartre

Didn't have breakfast here. The staff were friendly and the room was very thoroughly cleaned. BUT, the room is very small, the elevator is basically one person + one suitcase. In our room the floor beneath the linoleum was literally disintegrating. One of the chair legs had fallen through leaving a hole in the floor. Really the only thing good about this place was that it was "affordable" by Paris standards. We did like the Montmartre neighbourhood.

L’hôtel est très bien situé. L’accueil a été plutôt sympathique, avec la possibilité de laisser les bagages et prendre un café en attendant que la chambre soit prête. La chambre est agréable, bien insonorisé. Le personnel de nettoyage est agréable et efficace. Petits détails moins sympas : - impossible de régler le chauffage dans la chambre et salle d’eau non chauffée. - pas de possibilité d’afficher « ne pas déranger » sur la porte. C’est gênant de devoir répondre plusieurs fois dans la matinée qu’on est encore là et qu’il n’est pas possible de faire la chambre pour le moment. - la bouilloire était défectueuse. Le bouton ne tenait pas, il fallait donc le maintenir appuyé en permanence pour espérer avoir de l’eau chaude. Nous avons demandé un changement de bouilloire, il nous a été répondu «  oui, peut-être si nous en avons une disponible, mais rien n’a été fait. Nous restions 5 jours, nous espérions mieux. Rapport qualité/prix correct, sans plus.

Un buon hotel in zona tranquilla e ben servita. Stazione metro a 1 minuto. Personale gentilissimo, uniche pecche camera senza aria condizionata e piuttosto calda e ascensore minuscolo in cui quasi non riuscivamo a mettere il passeggino, per il resto tutto ok.

Wonderful experience! Quiet, peaceful, and elegant. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Short walk to Jules Joffin metro station. Surrounded by lots of little flower shops, bakeries, cafes, and local grocery stores. Coffee/tea available in the reception area and they have a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days and it was mostly a great experience! The hotel is small and the rooms are on the small side, but everything was clean and the staff were happy and helpful! Couple of things to note. Firstly, there's no air conditioning so if your stay coincides with hot weather you may need to consider leaving windows open And secondly, if you get offered a room 'street side' or 'yard side', choose the yard! Our room faced on to the street and it was noisy with traffic, plus there are some bars just a few meters away and 'people noise' was very noticeable! Walking to Montmartre is largely uphill, and there is a Metro station and a couple of very nice bakeries a couple of minutes walk So, recommended as a lower cost hotel option in a lovely area of northern Paris!

Excellent location, within close proximity to metro station and bus stops, restaurants and shops. The night receptionist was very helpful. Parking was a hassle and the rooms were very difficult to cool at night.

Die Zimmer sind gut schalltechnisch gedämmt. Das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist vom Angebot übersichtlich. Der Preis pro Person 9,50 € geht in Ordnung. Der vorhandene Aufzug ist aufgrund der geringen Größe bedingt nutzbar. Das heißt - Treppen steigen-. Größtes Manko stellte das von uns gebuchte „Premium Doppelzimmer“ dar. Das verdiente hinsichtlich Größe sowie Ausstattung nicht diesen Namen. Der Kleiderschrank war eher ein Besenschrank. Zum Glück hatten wir nur einen Koffer dabei. Einen 2. hätten wir nur schwer untergebracht. Um das Doppelbett herumzulaufen, war nicht einfach. Schade, dass mit dieser Zimmerbezeichnung eine bestimmte Erwartung erzeugt aber nicht eingehalten wird

Hôtel agréable, bien placé au cœur du 18eme et près de Montmartre. Accueil très agréable. Un seul bémol, l’ascenseur minuscule et situé à mi niveau ce qui oblige à monter ou descendre quelques marches à pied. Malgré cela nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

This was my first time in Paris and Hotel Eden Montmartre was the best place to come home to after long days out and about! It’s so easy to get to the city with Jules Joffrin metro just a quick walk from the hotel with several boulangers and cafes surrounding it as well as being very close to Simplon metro station which I also used during my trip! I stayed 5 nights and it was perfect everytime I came home. The elevator was such a great way to get up and down from my room on the 6th floor after my long 20000+ step days in the city. The bedroom was massive for me as I came alone but if you came with a partner you would still be spoilt for space! The bathroom is great! A lovely spacious bathroom unlike the cramped or small ones I saw when looking at other hotels and airbnbs in particular. Whilst it does not have Aircon, the windows both open right up and the fan did an amazing job keeping me cool (I also came at a pretty average summer time, I only had one 30C day, the rest were all mid to low twenties so maybe something to keep in mind). I will say that the room would have been perfect if there was a mini fridge in the room to keep your water nice and cool during the summer. I do believe they do offer it on request which I didn’t know about until I looked at their official website on my final day so maybe next time haha! Bottom line would love to just see a mini fridge in there permanently if that is the case. I will definitely try and come stay here again, it’s truly Paris!

The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The room we had was comfortable for two people, and quiet, though we could hear the rumble of the metro passing below the building and we were five floors up - it wasn't a disturbance. The staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast provided better value than going to a cafe. It's in a part of Paris we're pretty familiar with, and there are lots of places to eat nearby, and a minute's walk to the Metro. I'd happily stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a triple room. It’s a cosy little hotel with friendly staff and clean. It’s a little shabby in places and our bathroom could definitely have done with a facelift but the water pressure was good. The hotel is quite cosy so there is a bit of noise from other rooms. But for the price, we thought this was excellent.

This little hotel is just enough for a few nights in Paris if you’ll be out in the city most of the day. It’s clean but definitely run down and a bit old, which ultimately was ok with me, it adds to the charm and it makes sense for Paris. The rooms are small and you have just enough to walk around and get ready, bathroom is tiny! However I booked a twin (2) bed room and we actually had 3 twin beds which was just perfect. Breakfast is also offered for an extra fee. The windows which are almost floor to ceiling can give you a little “balcony” vibe when open. We had the street view and it was just lovely, and with the windows closed it wasn’t very noisy. There’s also an armoire which fits your clothes and other items. The area was perfect! Very walkable, lots of spots for dinner, breakfast, brunch. There’s also grocery stores nearby. The Sacre Cœur basilica is only a 10/15 min walk. We took the metro everywhere; the hotel is a few minutes walk from the nearest stop, with more only a block or two away. Keep that in mind because getting to the most popular attractions around Paris and the city center will require at least one or two metro rides from Montmartre/the hotel depending on where you’re going. Uber works perfectly if that’s what you prefer or are in a rush, but the metro is very easy to use and of course cheaper in the long run. Can also take the metro to the airport. Overall this was a lovely stay for a few days in Paris, I only wish we had had more time.

Clean, safe, close to public transport.

Lovely quant French hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Helpful staff. Would definitely book it again if I return to Paris.

This charming hotel is in a very walkable area with excellent Metro access. A number of really good bistros and restaurants within the immediate neighbourhood. The standard room we stayed in was very small. We are not large people however maneuvering around the bed to the bathroom and getting dressed was a bit of a dance for two people.

Séjour de 2 nuits. Personnel très professionnel. Lit très confortable. Propreté correcte. Chambre sur rue, assez bruyante car nécessité de laisser la fenêtre ouverte car absence d air conditionné. Salle de bain nécessite quelques rénovations au niveau bas de porte et chambranle. Petit déjeuner copieux et excellent, grand choix et de plus, horaire confortable ( 7h-11h). Je recommande vivement !

Séjour agréable .Chambre confortable,un peu exiguë, literie de qualité, très calme. Petit déjeuner copieux et variété. Seul bémol, la taxe de séjour de 5,20€ par personne et par nuit. Bon rapport qualité/prix .

The hotel is very old style. near 2 metro line 4 and 12 in a nice neighborhood 10 minutes train from the center. The workers in the desk where AMAZING especially Nazima and Stela they answer every question and give me tips what to do and where to go. they really care for the gusts. in the room no air-conditioning, no English Chanels in t.v.

As first timers in France this place turned out to be the perfect place to stay. More dining options than you can manage, within 5 minutes to 2 separate train lines, plus the bus. Nice hotel, very nice area, close to Metro and lots of Bus options. Excellent staff. Walking distance to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, we actually walked to Eiffel Tower.

The stay was excellent. We have been there before and we want fo come back. The staff are very nice. The Rooms are clean and quiet. Close to the Metro Jules Joffrin. God value for the money.

A blend of historical and contemporary hotel. In a wonderful location in Montmartre. Easy walking to numerous restaurants and eateries..

The hotel was in the fashionable area of Montmartre and very convenient for accessing the city with a Metro station 2 minutes walk away. The room was quite small and comfortable with a large well appointed bathroom. Staff were friendly and there was complimentary tea and coffee available.

Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst. Fick både kaffe o vatten. Hade ett rum mot gården vilket var perfekt. Hördes inget från trafiken på gatan. God o tillräcklig frukost för bra pris. Stort rum o stort badrum. Nära tunnelbana. Trevligt område. Granne med en trevlig restaurant. Många matval i närheten. Inom gångavstånd till Sacre coeur. Kommer gärna tillbaka.

Grande chambre Grande SDB dans son jus avec baignoire Rien ne manque : thé , café etc… apprécié Chambre un peu vieillotte avec 2 lits simples !! Au lieu d’un double Bon Accueil Petit déjeuner correct Place de parking proposée pas adéquat avec mon véhicule : un kangoo !

Hyggeligt lille hotel. Fantastisk personale, fin morgenmad og god beliggenhed tæt på metro. Vi nød at være her, og vil helt sikkert gerne bo her igen.

We have been staying at Hotel Eden since 2009 and always have a wonderful time. The hotel is extremely well situated close to a metro station and a Monoprix where we can buy basics. There are several delicious restaurants on the same block where we dine every time we are there and we look forward to visiting our favorites places. The hotel breakfast is great and such a good value for less than 9 Euros. The metro station is a block away and connects to everything we want to see, do and visit. While not fancy, Hotel Eden is safe and clean. The staff is friendly and they speak several languages so we are able to ask questions. We look forward to staying here many years to come. I can't say enough about how much we love Hotel Eden. It was a great find!
