Perfect location, very good Continental breakfast, and wonderful service. My only complaint was the elevator being inoperable for a couple of days. Which I would not have minded under normal circumstances. However the stair case at this hotel is very tight.

Staff unfriendly, no parking, and construction ongoing early morning.

This quaint, boutique hotel is nicely located to local amenities. Step outside and you have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. My only complaint is that my particular room doesn’t have elevator access, so you need to carry your luggage up or down the stairs, which for us, having 2 large, heavy bags was a bit of a challenge( (room 330). The staff did help, which lessened the burden, but it was unfortunate as we didn’t know until we already hauled our luggage to the room and it would have been inconvenient to haul it back down.

Not suitable for walking up steep stairs with a suitcase as lift does not go to all floors, but concierge carried heavy cases to the room

Excellent location a short-ish walk from Arc de Triumphe (for ease of orientation) and close to a subway station with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Lift can be a bit small; spiral stairs offer a good workout depending on which floor your room is.

Great location. The view from our balcony was spectacular, we could see the Eiffel Tower. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean just be prepared for a small room which I understand that’s typical for Paris. My only complaint was they were doing some kind of construction or renovation we were waken up by hammering and a lot of noise early in the morning. We weren’t too happy about that. Overall it was pretty good.

The location of this property is outstanding. 15-minute easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, 5-7 min walk to the Arch, 5-minute walk to the subway, and there are several great cafes nearby. I mean you leave this hotel and you are right in the center of it all. The hotel is very old and I could tell they were renovating because the banging noise was a bit too much. They did not change bed sheets for all three nights. The cleaners just cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed. There were very old toilets and showers with minimal, very basic toiletry. If you like luxury, this is not the hotel for you, but if you are planning to be outdoors all day and want a cheap hotel stay then this is the place.

Location is everything - and its perfect if you want to see the eiffel tower right outside the front doors The hotel is under renovations, so our floor smelled of strong fresh paint, and the banging starts around 7 - 8 am. The staff are amazing! the continental breakfast is wonderful! but the hotel is very outdated - room smelled like mold, but can see where they are making improvements to upgrade it.

On the positive note, the gentleman we dealt with at night was FANTASTIC. Super friendly, fluent in multiple languages and helped us with navigation and booking our cab to the airport. However the bad things were HORRIBLE. We didn't check in till almost 11pm due to our flight in and arrival to hotel which meant it was late when we went to sleep. At like 815am we are LOUDLY woken up by someone using a sledgehammer on the other side of our wall to the point where it was shaking the walls and curtain and if inside bathroom you couldn't keep the door shut to the loud sounds. We were then told construction would happen daily from 8am-5pm and to deal with it and have a free breakfast for one day for the troubles (we didn't use it as we had plans). Other than that the day manager at the desk just brushed it off. They were legit on the other side of our window and we could see them hammering the walls. No signage or anything in the hotel to state that there was construction or anything. Second night in and we slept in after staying out and exploring the city when we quickly wake up and jump out of bed as someone not only unlocked our door but walked into the room. This wasn't at like 2pm either as it was just around 10am. After madly going to the front desk and asking who and how someone got into our room the front desk, who seemed annoyed at my concern, told me it was the manager wanting to see the construction and since no one opened they let themselves in. Wouldn't recommend.

If you can find another place, do it. The hotel has a horrible smell, the carpet is dirty and the bathroom had some blood stains. How horrible. I would never go back. The good thing is that it was only one night.

This hotel is outdated & not very clean. As someone with allergies, I had to clean the bathroom & skirting-boards of my room as they were thick with dust. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, just fans, the carpets look like they haven’t been changed out in over 30 or 40 years, same with the wallpaper & I’d hate to think how old the pillows are. However, rooms were serviced daily which was great & for the price, you’d hope so!

The room was very small for a family of 4. It’s a lot of money to sleep on a fold out sofa bed for 2 nights. Not the family room detailed in the website. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly and we found items belonging to the previous occupant. But the worst thing was that the toilet and hand sink were at opposite ends of the room. The toilet (only a toilet) was in a small cubicle in the walk in wardrobe but the sink was in another cupboard across the room. This created massive hygiene issues. Every person using the toilet has to opened 3 doors with unclean hands before reading a sink !!!!! I’ve never seen anything like it. There was more than enough space in the toilet area to include a small sink for handwashing. Imagine also having to do all this in the dark in the middle of the night while trying to avoid hitting your legs on the fold out bed which took up all the floor space. The cupboard with the sink also had a shower but the sink blocked the shower door from opening correctly. They would be better to move the sink to the same water closet as the toilet and allow the other space to be used as a shower room only. The hotel was conveniently located, the reception area and corridors were well decorated, our view was poor (an internal courtyard) despite requesting a better view. Breakfast was good for a continental option. Thankfully we were not in the room much otherwise I would have been ver aggrieved.

Excellent breakfast… the elevator had a bad smell, the carpet in the room is not that clean, everything else was descent cleaned.

Pros: 1. good location. awesome view of Eiffel Tower from the front doors. 2. good walking distance to multiple public transportations (bus, subway, trains). 3. Breakfast was okay. Cons: if you travel with a baby, BEWARE. 1. They make you leave your stroller downstairs in the lobby. I was not happy about this because our stroller was expensive. I even offered to pack the stroller away in its airline travel bag, but they refused, and couldn’t give me a reason as to why. Not impressed. 2. They mention they have cribs. They DO NOT. We were presented a broken, stained and ripped pack and play with no mattress, just a folded up blanket on the bottom. My son is only 9 months and sleeping with blankets like that was a suffocation risk. When we complained they did nothing. Expedia customer service even called to complain and nothing was done to help us. My husband slept on the uncomfortable pullout and my son had to sleep with me the entire time. 3. Sheets were stained. New sheets were brought and those ones were also stained. 4. Heating/cooling in the room was touch and go. 5. Bathroom had horrible layout. We couldn’t close the bathroom door without stepping into the shower.

The area of the hotel is very easy access for all the attractions, restaurants, metro and vehicles. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was really good, during my stay the housekeeping was very good and loyal.

This property is in a great location!! There were 3 of us and the room was spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at in France. The two complaints are the beds and bedding were uncomfortable. Also, we had a room near the courtyard and it was loud on a couple nights( until 230am) when other guests decided to sit in the courtyard and talking loudly. I’d request a room in another area of the hotel next time.

I stayed at Elysees Union Hotel for 8 ngts in Jan 2024. The hotel was neat and very centrally located (minutes to Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, two metro stations etc.). The staff generally were very friendly and helpful. However the wifi was almost non-existent and the housekeeping was not great (we were't given enough towels, soaps, tissues, etc. and we had to constantly request these on a daily basis). Apart from this, the hotel was very good. SG

Great location, quiet but close to the arc de triomphe and walkable to Eiffel Tower. We had a family room which included two single beds for the kids which was perfect. Continental breakfast was also good. Would definitely recommend for families. The balcony view of the Eiffel Tower was amazing

The hotel is really well located. The facilities are good. The only problem is the quality of the internet connection. It is pretty unstable. Solving this problem it could be a five star place.

Location is everything for this hotel - it was our 2nd stay (last time in 2013) it is a very old property that has been looked after - rooms are VERY small but it worked for us for 3 nites in the Center of Paris - close to metro - lots of restaurants - breakfast was very good - lots of choice - bedding was good quality - only negative was too hot in the rooms - no working adjustments in the room and when we talked to the desk we were told they have turned off the air conditioning for the rest of the year - we were there in October

It’s a nice hotel except the rooms are very small. I thought I was booking a larger “quad” room but it was just a normal room with two extra cots for children. The WiFi was not working very good but overall it’s a good spot and clean hotel.

Great location, great view, rooms could do with updating

Location was great but no ac or soundproofing. We could hear all the sounds and walking in the hallway at all hours.

We had a good stay at Elysees. Plus are walkable from Trocadéro, close to metro stations, few rooms with Eiffel Tower view, and a really good breakfast buffet. Only downside is the room size for the price we paid. The rooms are really small but I guess that’s what you get in Paris.

Most staff are nice but I had a bad experience with an older man in the lobby I arrived early and I had been in communication with the hotel that I would be arriving early. Once I got there the man at the desk said check in is at 2. I asked him if there will be any rooms available before then and he replied with check in is at 2, mind you it’s 9am. So I sit down in the lobby trying to figure out what to do for 5 hours and I go back up to him and ask if there is anywhere I can put my luggage. He said “of course” but his demeanor was extremely irritated. I came back to the hotel around 12 and saw that the man wasn’t at the front desk anymore and asked the woman at the desk if there are any rooms available and she said yes and checked me in. She was extremely polite. And accommodating. The old man at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. Also the hotel itself is extremely outdated. The bathrooms need to be renovated, the only upside is the location.

Very courteous helpful staff. Very nice room for the price. Excellent breakfast. They had maintenance issues on our first night so they put us up in a sister hotel (the Ceramic) which was not as nice. Great access to local attractions. Relatively safe and quiet neighborhood.

The staff is friendly and helpful! You can see the Eiffel Tower right outside. There are many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood to choose from.

Great staff had help with luggage and got an upgrade to a larger room. Great hotel convenient to every thing. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel staff in the breakfast and desk clerk were outstanding.

I was not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, no one offered to help me with my luggage, despite the fact that I was a woman traveling alone — which I found quite disrespectful. Initially, I was given a room on the ground floor that was very small and gloomy. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the receptionist told me there were no other available rooms because the hotel was fully booked. After insisting, I was eventually given another room on the first floor, but unfortunately, the bathroom in that room had drainage issues. To make matters worse, although breakfast was supposed to be included in my reservation, I was charged for it for three days. Even on my last day, when I checked out at 6 a.m. without having breakfast, I was still charged. Overall, my experience at this hotel was disappointing and I would not recommend it.

First they gave us 110 and 115. We were travelling with kids and preferred being next to them. Then we noticed 1. no irons in the room or any ironing boards 2. Both rooms had low pressure hot water. Unable to use hot water for showers 3. One of the rooms shower tub won't drain. The maintenance came and unclogged the drain. We had just checked in the night before and kids wanted to take shower the next morning 4. Found the front female receptionist to be extremely rude. She told us that we are staying in 3 star hotel and can't demand 5 start service. We were just asking for her to give us a room that had a working hot water. She then moved one of the rooms (110) to room 418 which was much better but still had issues. The shower head won't work. You have to hold the push button down or it stops working. The bidet water connection was leaking water. There was water on the restroom floor. I almost fell inside. To make it up, the receptionist offered us one day of free breakfast. Overall, a bad experience. We wanted to move to a different hotel but were told that we won't be refunded for cancellation. Terrible experience. This hotel is in the perfect area. Walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. Hotel staff were great and spoke several languages. Would definitely stay there again.

We did not spend much time in the hotel as we were out and about most of the time. The location of the hotel is perfect, fairly close to most of the attractions, and surrounded by good restaurants. The hotel can be easily reached from CDG by using the metro system. It can be done with 2 metros and including about 600m of walking, within maybe 90 minutes. Staff was corteous. Rooms are small but was fine for our purpose. There is a little bar fridge as well.

This was my third time staying at Elysees Union in the past 10 years. I love the quietness of the area as well the 5-10 minute walk in either direction to the Palais de Chaillot for amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The metro is only one block away so the convenience of travel is definitely worthwhile. Highly recommend! The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful at any time of day as well.

Loved the proximity to Eiffel Tower (15 mintutes walk to the park and full view of Eiffel Tower) Our room had a view of Eiffel Tower, small balcony to enjoy the view. Close by nice cafes and restaurants. Friendly and welcoming staff! We really enjoyed our stay! :)

This combination traditional/Art Deco style property is updated and comfortable. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge with hot (maybe a little too hot) water. There is a lovely courtyard, 2 nice salons, the breakfast is great and lasts until 11:00. Step outside, look left, and there she is...the Iron Lady. 10 minute walk to Champs Elysees.

There was no iron in the room, some old hair drying machine in the wall. If they upgrade that, that would’ve been better. Also we got food poisoning from the breakfast

Overall good hotel. If you’re looking for all the bells and whistles this is not the hotel for you. Hotel is clean but could use some updating around the crown molding and such. Shower is really a tub bath with a quarter of a shower door so you have to be careful when showering not to get water on the floor. DON’T GET THE BREAKFAST OPTION!!! Not worth it. Breakfast was cold cuts and packaged cheese, crackers, yogurt…save your money. There’re plenty of restaurants in the area that you can get a nice warm breakfast for a reasonable price. Nice staff, can’t remember the night front desk guy’s name but he was friendly. Victor the day guy was ok, not mean but not friendly, he’s all business. Area was safe and close to train station. Hotel is within walking distance of Arc de Triumph and Champs de Elysees. I would definitely recommend hotel and would stay there again.

Location, location, location! Would not stay anywhere else even though they need to improve Internet wifi and safes are required in the rooms. Breakfast was really good with plenty of variety from omelettes, lovely cold cuts, tasty baguettes, cereals, yoghurts and pastries.This is a hidden gem that will get my business again.
