Hôtel Liège Strasbourg

Breakfast is good ( croissant, bread, coffee, apple juice, orange juice and cheese ) for $10 fee per person. No A/c in the room and one table fan per room. I saw oil heater though. We need to keep the window open for fresh air. No Fridge, one microwave and toaster in the dining hall. Walkable distance from gare-du-nord train station, grocery shopping, bars and restaurants and metro station. Very very vibrant community of people you would see outside the hotel. Bed is clean. They do change towels Every day and fix the bed. Only one room key. Though they won’t allow early checkin , they do helped us with luggage storage. 24/7 - beer, cofee, milk vending machine.

The room faced the street and because there was no A/C we had to have the balvony doors open. So much neighbirhoid nois we and sirens. The 1st night was very hot. Thankfully the manager loan us a fan.

We were staying because of the Olympics, all the prices had sky rocketed and this was more basic than we would normally book. Saying that the location was excellent for the metro and plenty of places to eat within a short distance. Very clean and tidy, no aircon, it was very hot there was a fan. It was very noisy in the street outside at night but not a problem with the windows closed. Staff were very helpful, we had a great time

Elevator VERY smalll and not working intermittently. Hallways extremely small. Extra hall bathroom made for a children size. Loud start noise so couldn’t open windows to cool off

There was no lift to the top floor halfway lift then stairs very difficult with baggage

Having stayed at a few budget hotels in this area when arriving late at or leaving early from Gare du Nord (never in the same one twice!), this is the best I've found and will be my go to option in future. Well placed within 10-15 mins walk of Gare du Nord and 5 minutes of Gare de l'Est stations and the Metro line 4 at Chateau d'Eau. The area was quiet overnight and walking to the hotel after 22.30 from the Metro felt safe. The front desk offered a friendly welcome. There was a small lift so getting to the upper floors was easy. The room, while small, had everything needed for a simple overnight stay including, most importantly, a comfortable bed. The en-suite was clean and had a good size shower. There was storage space, a TV, a desk and chair, and good WiFi. All this offered at a very reasonable price and with the option of a breakfast in the morning (which I wasn't able to stay and enjoy so cannot judge).

First, coming from Canada and being my first time in France in the summer, I was shocked there was no AC and it was a VERY humid week! That said, I noticed that AC in France isn’t the major thing it is in North America so I don’t think this was a knock on the hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were all lovely!! Special thanks to the gentleman who let me check in early! It may be a cultural difference as he seemed genuinely confused I was inquiring to check in at noon for a 3pm reservation. He quickly made it work which was SO appreciated because I had a special event to attend at 3pm and this made a world of difference. About the neighborhood- I loved it!! Yes it’s loud, boisterous and vibrant… it’s an African neighbourhood brimming with culture- embrace it! Some people are just afraid of Black joy, and as an Indigenous person I totally get this and celebrated it. I was treated with respect and kindness everywhere I went and would definitely stay here again. I absolutely felt safe as a female travelling alone. Hôtel was very close to two major train stops and a transit pass paid for itself 10 times over, I went EVERYWHERE in four days with ease!! Oh- a really great gym with day use passes just a little ways down on the same side of the street, Basic-Fit, I was SOO appreciative to get to work out every day of my trip!

Todo fue muy bueno. Llegamos un poco antes del check in y ya tenían la habitación limpia, lo cual fue genial porque pudimos descansar parte de la mañana. La habitación muy limpia, las camas cómodas y la temperatura perfecta. Teníamos vista a la calle y aunque es un área transitada, no se escuchaba mucho ruido. El baño super limpio y cómodo. Recomendaría este hotel por el precio que pagamos. La ubicación es céntrica y puede no ser la más bonita de noche pero siempre hay gente caminando y eso te hace sentir seguro. Una felicitación a la recepcionista Shanna, quien fue super amable y linda.

Front desk clerk was super sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, we checked in and went site seeing. Got back very late with young kids and discovered our bathroom had a serious black mold issue. Hotel was full and we couldnt move. Next morning the clerk told us they were aware of the issue, and were scheduled to remediate it that week, but opened the room anyhow because it was full. My boyfriend woke up with a migrane, likely triggered by the mold, which ruined half of our last day of our trip. We complained to management and requested a refund. They would only give us a partial credit. Very unsatisfied with the unhygienic and unsafe condition of the room- and with their inadequate response.

Petite chambre mais avec rangement, propre sauf sous le lit (où j'ai regardé en cherchant ma bague que j'avais faite tomber). Par contre le chauffage est trop fort, il faisait vraiment trop chaud.

Da die Lüftung im Bad nicht funktioniert, hat die Feuchtigkeit ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Auch Flecken über dem Sockel im Zimmer. Wir hätten gern zusätzlich zum Duschtuch auch gern ein kleines Handtuch gehabt. Jeden Tag das gleiche sparsame, trockene Frühstück. Abends werden die Straßen von Menschen belagert, die laut erzählen.

Room was very dusty, which affected my allergy and asthma , shower head was thick with limescale, and beds were so uncomfortable. There was was no soundproofing, and you could hear everythjng outside, and there people shouting outside all night, along woth constant car horns and sirens.upon arrival the hotel was surrounded by dealers. It felt unsafe, looked unsafe. The area looked very rough. We checked out early and had to spend another £500 to spend the rest of our holiday at another hotel. I will be asking for a refund.

Small budget hotel near the center of Paris. It was completely according our expectations. Triple room had enough space, was clean, warm and light.

The room was spacious enough for three single beds which is a big plus compared to other hotels we have stayed in! The balcony was a nice addition, but the road was quite noisy so it wasn’t possible to have the door open at night - and there was no air conditioning so it would have been very hot in summer. The bathroom was tiny, but clean. The breakfast was great- croissants, baguettes, toast, cereal.

This is a great budget hotel. I stayed 3 nights. There are two metros close by which makes it easy to get around Paris and to/from the airport. I had room 103. No street noise, but you can hear the room next door. Numerous restaurants and a couple of good grocery stores close by. There’s a lot of foot traffic during the day. But everyone is respectful of tourists. I would stay there again.

Goede locatie t.o.v. Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est en metrostations. Wel een drukke omgeving. Kleine maar schone en complete kamer. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Location is very good , so many food outlets around , location is great, very close to metro stations and bus transport. However become noisy in the morning due to heavy traffic in close vicinity. Hotel , room was very small, the private bathroom was small and cramped, the bath area was elevated and risky for older people because of tub slope . Receptionists we met from time to time , one female and two males, were very nice and supportive, very helpful and speak and understand English well. Keeping in view the low budget hotel , I will rank the hotel excellent for its location and staff , however for room itself is good , and the washroom was average.

The area around the hotel was little run down but the hotel itself was clean, the rooms were big enough for two with views from the balcony.

We had a great stay at this hotel the room was very spacious though the TV was not really working. Very well located minutes from Gare du nord and Gare de l’Est. Clean room and very spacious for our family of four. Only down side : the walls are super thin you can hear everything from next door

The front desk staff was very nice especially the lady. Our room faced the street which made for a lot of noise from people, cars, emergency vehicles, etc. plus the walls are fairly thin which makes for a lot of noise transference from adjacent rooms.

Very convenient location, excellent friendly front desk people/service, pretty nice breakfast (juice, bread, butter, croissant, coffee, cereal, jam, etc), has kitchen that you can use at night, room small but adequate, clean, has a small patio/balcony (at least mine did). It has an elevator, which is convenient. The area is walkable and seems to be safe. It gets better and better as you walk towards the center, has many cafes, shops. Close to Gare del'Est and Nord. Really, the only con was the sound proofing - you could not hear any street noise, but the neighboring bathroom or people walking in the halfway were very clearly heard. Luckily, there were not many of them staying on the same floor, and they were not too late or too early, about the same schedule, as me, so it was ok. I always use ear plugs when traveling anyways.

Perfekt för oss som ville bo centralt och bo 5 i ett rum. Fanns extra toalett i korridoren vilket var ett plus. Mycket livlig gata, men helt tyst när fönstren var stängda.

Excellent option close to a metro station and to the big train stations, you can easily move around the city. During the day the area is a bit busy because of the business around, but nobody bother you. For the price I think is an excellent option. An extra is that they have 24hrs front desk staff that is super friendly and helpful.

Great location. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The room was nice and had a great view, but the shower was small enough it might cause difficulty for some visitors i feel. Overall i really enjoyed my stay here and would use this hotel again.

A great hotel. I arrived really tired from travelling and was met by the most friendly and helpful receptionist (blond lady, did not get her name). The receptionist was so helpful, I could not remember my card pin so she did several tap and pay transactions and was very patient and just very warm and welcoming, truly exceptional customer service. The room was large and very clean, although there is no air con, the fan kept the room cool, despite the 38c Paris heat. The included breakfast is basic but perfectly ok. I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading other reviews about gangs of youths hanging around the area but they all seemed pretty harmless. Hotel is only short walk to the metro and also only a 10 minute walk to Gare Du Nord, so it is really well placed to get about Paris very easily. I would stay here again.

The service was perfect! We were too early for check-in, but the luggage could be stored save. Also, after checking out in the morning, the luggage could be stored safely. Personal was friendly. Breakfast is simple but good, maybe some fruit or boiled eggs can be added to breakfast. Location was perfect, close to Gard du Nord.

Arrivé très tard pour partir très tôt, le reste a peu d’importance. Le personnel d’accueil a offert d’ouvrir le petit déjeuner à 06:45 au lieu de 07:30 juste pour que je puisse le prendre avant mon départ au train. Adorable ! Et ce alors même que le-dit petit déjeuner m’avait été vendu pour seulement 1€. Inhabituel à Paris !

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Lage zum Gare de l‘Est und Metro prima. Aber die Umgebung (Blv Strasbourg) ist grenzwertig. Ich, als alleinreisende Frau habe mich auf dem Weg zum Hotel sehr unwohl gefühlt

The hotel property itself was up to the mark in cleanliness, service, staff friendliness and support. The property is also quite well situated, near Gare de l'Est and Chateau de'Eau metro station as well as local buses. However, the Boulevard de Strasbourg area around this property was quite noisy and not too clean. It also didnt feel safe walking back late after 9 pm. However there is plenty of dining around the Rue de Faubourg Saint-Denis and easy walkable access to main areas and museums. The hotel is highly recommended for value for money, and a neat and clean, centrally located place to stay.

Great hotel near city centre. We got 25% discount at the parking under the train station by the hotel which is valuable in Paris.

Hey, this is a 2* hotel, dont expect 4*. However, we found the staff welcoming and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was very nice. 20-25 minute walk to the Lourve and 10 minutes from Gare Du Nord.

Location is good: very close to the train station. The surrounding area could be noisy at night but there are restaurants and stores nearby. Staff was friendly. Room conditions were fair. The sink was leaking. Can’t complain more given the fair price.

The only thing is the breakfast is very poor don’t buy it is full water is not coffee

Le prix du petit déjeuner trop cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé pas de choix du tout. Café servi en perco et pas bon. L'hôtel était bien pour notre séjour avec un très bon accueil. Par contre le tarifs trop excessifs pour un 2 étoiles et au vu de l'emplacement (quartier populaire bruyant).

Checked in on late notice as flight cancelled. Paid 1450 AUD for two nights in a quad room. Room had no air con and 2 fans to cool down same. Could hardly sleep cause room was so hot. Breakfast was croissant, bread, spreads, cereals and coffee. Nothing available for my gluten intolerant wife. Great area to stay however hotel is vastly overpriced l.

Bokade "stor" frukost, den var ett ett skämt, lite bröd och nutella och marmelad var det som fanns. Kaffet var bra. Klagade och fick tillbaka frukostpengerna utan problem. Tråkig entre, inte så upphetsande överlag men ok rum att sova i.
