El baño estaba sucio esta todo el hotel en obras y el sector muy peligroso

Hotel proche du métro La Chapelle. Chambre spacieuse entièrement rénovée. Mais pas de chauffage dans la salle de bains : un appareil d'appoint aurait été bienvenu. Une soufflerie permanente dérangeante à cause du bruit obligeant à fermer la porte de la SDB! Literie confortable. Au dernier étage avec ascenseur, c'était calme. Pas de petit déjeuner sur place. Du coup on a découvert le quartier et ses bistrots pas chers. Accueil très aimable et entrée sécurisée.

I had a bad experience since when i was there, the hotel was under rehabilitation. Noise from builders early morning around 7am made me hard to sleep. There was no replacement bath towels or soap and shampoo for the 5 days I spent there. But the location is good and it is near to Metro station where it can take you anywhere you want around Paris

En general todo muy bien, era un poco incómodo subir las escaleras dentro de la habitación. Es ascensor era demasiado pequeño, caía una persona. Personal muy amable. Buena ducha. Camas cómodas. Aclarar que en los alrededores es un poco peligroso sobre todo saliendo del metro. Si bien queda en una zona muy buena de día. No recomiendo caminar solas de noche. Pasamos susto.

Hotel was being renovated ,,room and hallway smelt of damp ,no loo roll in room ,,pictures of reception on ad deceptive,,internal building noise unbearable ,,hotel had obvious immigrant use ,and as for the unsafe very disturbing area ,definately would not recomend this hotel ,only had 1 night booked and considered sleeping in train station

Very bad service from the hotel reception staff they ignored your complaints room is very noise never come in summer time they don’t have air conditioning and outside is to loud you can’t open the windows it’s to noise to sleep toilet is very small they don Have elevators reception staff can’t speak English I stayed 3 nights and I met 3 different staff I have to explain in translation Everything such a bad hotel I will not recommend this hotel very bad hotel

Stayed here to watch the champions league final. Not great facilities and the bedroom smelt damp.shower and toilet unpleasant and not in great condition.

L’hôtel est vraiment trop petit, les chambres sont minuscule et pas du tout comme sur les photos. il est en travaux, bruits des marteaux jours et nuits, pas de chauffage pas de télé….. l’ascenseur est vraiment un gros mensonge!!!!! De la poussière partout dans les chambres et dans le rez-de-chaussée ( si ont peut appeler ça une réception) Rapport qualité prix franchement c’est de l’arnaque ( il mérite même pas 40€ Je vous déconseille fortement. Cherchez un autre hôtel ou vous allez le regretter .. Plus jamais pour moi

It is a very basic place,if you are arriving and departuring from Gare du nord it is a very convenient place to stay since it is just a 10 min walk from the station,i stayed there with my 9 year old daughter and i had no problems whatsover,when it comes to comfort i cannot say it was good. Beds ok but not comfortable. Many dodgy looking people in the area selling cigarettes near and around the square but nobody bothered us.downstairs on the way to the rooms they have a fridge,microwave and a kettle for guests to use which was a bonus.you can bring your drinks,cheese etc and store there to consume when you come back from a day exploring Paris. There is a Metro station 2 minute walk from the place which makes things really easy. For the price i would stay here again if i am arriving at gare du nord. You can also walk from there to the sacre couer. If you need a place to crash for a few days and they are not charging a lot a the time of the booking it is worth staying there,if they are charging more than 60 euros i would stay somewhere else

El hotel se está remodelando y esta en muy buenas condiciones, esta cerca de un metro lo que lo hace atractivo para su fácil movilidad, pero el personal en la recepción es terrible, son groseros y no tienen actitud de servicio, eso echa a perder la experiencia en el hotel.

Very, very clean & with helpful & friendly staff. Area was quite noisy but was not a big issue for us, we just needed a quick trip for a tradeshow. I would use the hotel again for the same type of trip. The hotel was good value and very close to several metros so exactly what we needed.

This hotel is conveniently located near the train station for an easy commute. However, the area is not the best and the hotel room we were assignment had mold on the wall as well as stains on the curtains and in the bathroom.

Chambre peu propre (cheveux dans la douche, miettes de nourriture sur le sol), mobilier en état médiocre et mauvaises odeurs de canalisation. Je ne reviendrais pas.

Dirty, small rooms, questionable neighborhood

Réservation de dernière minute donc je n'ai pas vraiment regardé. La chambre n'a RIEN A VOIR avec la photo du site. Tout est délabré mais surtout la saleté est partout et indescriptible. Je suis désolé de laisser un tel avis car les 2 gars entraperçus à la réception ont été sympas. Mais pour le reste... c'était éprouvant : se laver dans la douche était déjà une épreuve au vu de l'état des sanitaires. Mais une fois sorti, je n'ai pas osé mettre un pied par terre et n'ai marché dans la chambre qu'avec des chaussettes et chaussures dès que je pouvais. A noter tout de même que les draps et les serviettes étaient propres. Pour le reste, c'était simplement repoussant (poils collés au carrelage, traces de sang, poussière et plus, état global lamentable...). J'ai déjà dormi dans des logements modestes, voire très très modestes en Asie. Mais cela n’empêchait pas que ce soit entretenu à minima (en fonction des moyens locaux) et surtout, ils faisaient l'effort pour que ce soit PROPRE (où alors je partais). Ici, il y a de très gros efforts à faire. Et surtout c'est la 1ère fois que je suis trompé par Hotels.com dont les photos ne reflètent aucune réalité. Je m'excuse encore pour ce commentaire que je ne fais pas à chaud. Je joins les photos pour que chacun se forge son avis. Je suis retourné dans ce quartier depuis et j'ai réservé un autre hôtel (Hotel Louis Blanc, lisez l'avis) un petit peu plus cher. Rien à voir et j'ai payé les quelques dizaines d'euros supplémentaires avec plaisir.

Super, il y’a juste une odeur de canalisation qui remonte du lavabo.

Very clean and modern room, location walkable to Gare du Nord. Street was a bit noisy on a Friday evening but quite quiet on a Saturday morning. Friendly front desk, easy check in. I would def stay again.

This hotel was conveniently located near the Chapelle /Gare Du Nord metro station and multiple eating places. The staff was courteous and polite. The room was very small but comfortable but lacked cleanliness. As soon as I entered the room, I smelled piss (urine) and that smell did not go away during my three nights of stay there. The towels were not that clean either. I hope the hotel management fixes this problem.

I stayed with my wife for a short night. The room was fine, the bed was made well, comfortable and nice bedsheets. The shower was excellent. We chose because of the price and because it was close to public transport. The place was perfect for a night’s sleep and getting back to visiting Paris and traveling.

Good clean hotel , comfy bed , nice sized room, very good deal for Paris

The room was tiny and basic (though adequate for the price), but the place could do with an upgrade: there is a tired look about it, and various small bits were not quite the way they should be: the only proper hanger broke when I tried to use it for my coat, and some of the lights were not working. The hotel is just about OK if you just want somewhere quiet to sleep close to the Gare du Nord, but it did not have anything that would make me recommend it in more positive terms - though in all fairness, there was nothing to complain about either: you get what you pay for.

Don't have the aircon, for a night at 173 euros..

The room was really warm. Right by reception on the ground floor. The tiniest shower I have ever been in. Not sure it was safe. Good price and was next to Gare du nord.

J'ai hésité à réserver cet hôtel à cause des commentaires google peu élogieux. Néanmoins, étant à 5 minutes de mon lieu de formation, j'ai réservé quand même. Accueil super chaleureux, personnel très prévenant et à l'écoute. La réception est sécurisée avec une porte fermée. Les chambres sont certes petites mais bien fonctionnelles et propres, avec une fenêtre. La literie est confortable, le petit déjeuner est tout à fait convenable. Donc je conseille totalement cet hôtel pour les personnes qui ne souhaitent pas sortir le soir. Effectivement le quartier fait peur mais cela les propriétaires de l'hôtel n'y peuvent rien ! Je recommande à tous ceux qui souhaitent séjourner dans ce quartier.

Parking here is a nightmare but it is very close to the train. The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was handy for our requirements.

While being in a more sketchy area from the train station, our stay was great and we loved the reception team with their friendliness. As Americans being in Paris for our first time, they helped us feel welcomed and loved chatting with us.

Staff really helpful and very friendly .i would strongly recommend it for a city break as all tourist attractions are near

The staff was so kind. However, shower head was a little dirty. Other than that, the hotel was very nice!

Staff members were wonderful, metro was really close but building was old and not very clean.

La zona es bastante problematica, demasiada delincuencia

The personnel were all kind and accomodating but the building is located in a dark, quite dangerous area.

A good location if arriving and leaving by Eurostar. A peaceful hotel in good condition. Walkable for Montmartre (and central Paris if one feels up to it) but also close to public transportation. Would stay again

Hôtel très pratique près de la gare du nord, très bon accueil hôtel propre, mais mal isolé. Accès métro a 5 minutes. Prix très compétitifs.

O hotel em si é bom... Mas o entorno é bem complicado, chegamos a ficar com medo de passar na praça e descer nas estações de metrô mais próximas, pois haviam homens muito mal encarados vendendo cigarros... Não voltaria a ficar no local somente por este motivo.

This was in a great location for catching the Eurostar from Gare de Nord. Just a short walk away. However, it was a noisy location and as a solo female traveller it didn’t feel overly safe.

I stayed at the Hipotel Paris Gare du Nord Merryl from Sat 03 Sept - Thur,08 Sept. The reception was friendly and weloming,however there was no option for breakfast. For a 2 star hotel the room was clean and comfortable and for a solo traveller, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice hotel to a good price maybe not in the best area in Paris but it was good transportations from there.It is in Saint Denis and close to Gare De Nord. Nice and helpful staff. The room was nice but they don't have any breakfast.
