Pent House 2 bedroom Condo; Gorgeous Ocean Views!

The entire place is under construction. They were laying tile and would start cutting tile before 8am everyday. The front sliding doors do not open. You have to pull them apart with your hands. We spoke to a lady in the elevator that said they were broken last year also. None of this is the hosts fault but we would have like to have know these things. And you have to pay to park.

This property was nicely decorated and had an amazing view of the gulf but is in bad need of updating and a good cleaning. The floor was so dirty that walking barefoot got the bottom of our feet black. The dishes, especially the silverware, were not clean. We ended up loading the dishwasher and running it before we would use anything. We were told that there was a new queen size sofa bed and that sheets for it would be in the closet, but all we found were pillowcases. As with all sofa beds it was uncomfortable, so one person slept on the sofa wrapped in a bedspread we found without opening it to the bed and said it was comfortable. Another big issue is that it definitely needs more lighting in the dining and living room area. The only light in that area came from the kitchen and a small table lamp in the living room. We tried to sit around the dining table and look at brochures and plan what we were going to do but it was too dark to read anything without using our lights on our phones. Overall, it was acceptable, but I would not rent it again.

We would not recommend this property for a family with children due to an unsafe balcony. The property was not clean and the sleeping accommodation was uncomfortable.

The building itself is decent, and the gated parking is a plus. Beach access is excellent and very convenient. Mattresses and pillows were comfortable.The unit feels neglected and poorly equipped for a week-long stay. Lighting was a consistent issue—overall dim inside, no lighting in living and dining, and the balcony lights didn’t work at all. Kitchen minimally stocked with mismatched, low-quality items, and even basic functionality was lacking (tiny trash can, no dustpan to go with a very cheap broom).One of the biggest drawbacks: no washer and dryer in the unit, which is a significant oversight for a beach property, especially for guests staying multiple days. There was also no mid-stay refresh or check-in.Maintenance and upkeep: water pools in the shower, cabinetry is heavily and poorly painted, drawers unstable, and the walls and ceilings could easily be refreshed with some basic care. Trash bags to balcony furniture—felt like the lowest-cost options, which contributes to a “worn” and underwhelming experience.No dressers, luggage racks, or storage options. Bags on floor for your stay. Communication from the host was also lacking and very generic.

The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent location with a beautiful view of the gult.
