Fik at vide at poolen var åben, den var hverken rengjort eller klar til at bruge. Den anden pool som var på hotellet måtte vi ikke bruge, det eneste der blev sagt var bare at den var lukket. Derud over var der håndværkere på hotellet som larmede fra morgen og til om eftermiddagen..

Hotellet har en restaurant men denne benyttes kun til arrangementer hvorfor det de skriver at der er en restaurant ikke stemmer idet den kun er til selskaber. Udearealerne omkring restauranten må ikke benyttes hvis der er arrangementer hvorfor man stort set er henvist til arealer uden udsigt. Baren som ikke er bemandet medmindre du finder en person fra receptionen serverede en drink hvor der lå noget af en opvaskertablet i begge glas hvilket ikke må ske - Heldigvis så vi det rimeligt hurtigt hvorfor en evt. forgiftning ikke skete.

When we checked in late afternoon, our room was not ready and we had to return to the reception desk and request another. The pool had only one seating area which made it very inhospitable unless you were with the people using two of the three seating options. There were no towels provided. The restaurant was closed, but there was a very limited breakfast. Th location is beautiful and one would hope a bit more of a congenial atmosphere would make this hotel stellar. But one did not feel welcome as it sat in a gorgeous location but with somewhat taciturn staff.

The hotel is a bit dated. It has great views, but it’s a bit over 10 minutes to town on a street with narrow sidewalks and you have to cross speeding traffic twice. The hotel restaurant isn’t open; they only serve buffet breakfast. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbor coughing all night and his alarm ringing at odd hours. We arrived at 1:30, but the staff told us to return after 2:00 for check in. I’ve never had a hotel not check for an available room. The AC ran all night and could only manage to cool the room from 25.5 to 24. I had it set to 20. They tried to reset it once, but it didn’t work any better.

First of all the room was in very nice condition, and the hotel is in a great location, but it's everything else that really made this a not so pleasant stay, when we got to the hotel the room was absolutely freezing cold I asked to turn the heat on and they said that the city doesn't switch the heat on until the end of the month. The restaurant was not open and there was no staff at the bar. If you want to sleep, this is not the place the staff starts cleaning the rooms at seven 8 AM and it's really loud, overall I would not recommend going here unless it was summertime and you don't mind getting up early on vacation.

Fantastiskt utsikt och mycket vänlig och serviceminded personal. Trevligt poolområde och terass. Tyvärr var restaurangen stängd så vi fick ta en kort promenad med tuff trafik ner till centrum med flera bra matställen.

The view over the lake is amazing. The room was small. I wanted to work in the main lobby but the guy came and turn off the lights. The swimming pool was for decoration only. Breakfast options for people with gluten intolerance almost nonexistent. They did not want to warm up soy milk for coffee. Not very friendly overall.

“Very good location, just a few minutes from Termini. Everything was nice and clean. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the chemical scent in the room, probably coming from the sheets or towels, but we weren’t sure about the source. Unfortunately, this is not a four-star hotel. - There is no shampoo, conditioner or other basic toiletries in the bathroom. - There is an outlet that works to charge your phone, the other two are broken. - There are silverfish running along the wall. - Even though we put up the do not disturb sign, they went in and cleaned and moved our things, threw our clothes in a pile, etc. - There is no shade by the pool. - The breakfast consists of sugary cereals, mini baguette from the freezer in the grocery store, melon, bacon and some kind of mini omelette that tastes nothing. You make coffee yourself in a bad machine. Shocking for a country where coffee is important. Good things: - The view – kind stuff In summary, they do the minimum possible to keep the hotel running. I emailed them before and wrote that we celebrated our first wedding anniversary, because we got married in Rome the year before. But they didn't care about that at all either. I have stayed in many four star hotels around the world but also in Rome and Italy, this hotel is a maximum of 2.5 star. We paid a lot of money for four nights and unfortunately it really wasn't worth it at all.

Breathtaking views across the lake. Beautiful terrace for breakfast. A lovely, fresh clean atmosphere throughout. Friendly, competent staff. The hotel is a five minute stroll from the centre of Castel Gandolfo.

The room was great. It was in the medieval part of town in an old building with the original walls and structure, although updated and clean. The host, Carlo, was very nice and helpful. Breakfast the next day was very good, and we enjoyed our stay there very much and I would recommend a stay there to anyone visiting the area for a wonderful experience.

Im not one to leave negative reviews. However they were not only rude they made me rent a whole other room for my 11yr old and 10MONTH old! Not to mention we stayed there due to a flight change and we would be there less than 8hrs!!! They did not help me heat wayer for baby and thier amenities were none even kitchen/restaurant was closed. Had to walk into town up and down hills if we wanted anything. I could not believe how rude they were!! The sheets smelled AWFUL and so did towels. Would not recommend!

A very rustic hotel with fantastic views of the lake. This is was especially nice in the morning. Breakfast on the terrace looking out over the water with the sun beaming down. The rooms are dated and do need a little TLC but it did add to the rustic charm of the place. The Restaurant was closed but the reception desk recommended us a few places and the one we picked 5mins walk from the hotel was the best Italian food I've ever had

Felt like you were staying in a palace. Staff were helpful in allowing us to change to a room with newer air con. Hotel is gradually under going renovations. Our first room had a really flash new bathroom. Breakfast was great. View over the lake was lovely and roof top pool nice.

I visited as part of a wedding party. They did a good job of accomodating all of us. It's an old place and the room was not sound proofed. There's some nice old furniture and the view over the lake is lovely.

Would have loved for the scrambled eggs to be hot (they seemed to come straight from the refrigerator) and some more options, like yogurt. The air conditioning was working at full capacity but never got below 25 Celsius so it was a bit hot for sleeping.

The view over the lake is amazing. The room was small. I wanted to work in the main lobby but the guy came and turn off the lights. The swimming pool was for decoration only. Breakfast options for people with gluten intolerance almost nonexistent. They did not want to warm up soy milk for coffee. Not very friendly overall.

When we checked in late afternoon, our room was not ready and we had to return to the reception desk and request another. The pool had only one seating area which made it very inhospitable unless you were with the people using two of the three seating options. There were no towels provided. The restaurant was closed, but there was a very limited breakfast. Th location is beautiful and one would hope a bit more of a congenial atmosphere would make this hotel stellar. But one did not feel welcome as it sat in a gorgeous location but with somewhat taciturn staff.

This beautiful hotel was quite the find walking distance to museums and gardens. Great service; incredible breakfast overlooking the lake. Room was plain however the bed was very comfortable. Pool available. If driving car you have to maneuver into parking lot up ramp but once in you will get the hang of it!

We were so excited to come to this hotel. It has beautiful views and close enough to Rome. When checking in, we were told that breakfast and dinner is served in their facilities. We asked if we needed to make reservations for dinner, and were told no. Dinner started at 7:30 p.m. We came to the dining room to be informed they do not serve dinner and only do special events. If we had been told ahead of time, we would have made other arrangements and were annoyed as we had an early flight in the morning and didn't feel like going off property to find dining. There is parking, but not a lot, so be aware of this if you rent a car.

Spent close to three weeks in this wonderful hotel with breathtaking and idyllic views. All the staff were incredible: Muriel, Luca, Giulia, Lorenzo, Annamaria….. always friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask Maurizio, the ever present, smiling barman for a cocktail or even a coffee. When you’re in the lobby look for the proprietor Stefania, she will share with you the rich history of this area as well as the must-see places. Her passion for the location is contagious. You will make unforgettable memories here.

Amazing experience. Excellent service and stunnong views, both from the room and from the various terraces around the hotel. We had breakfast on one of the terraces facing the lake. The products were fresh and there was a good variety. Personnel was very kind and professional. This is not the firet time we stay in this hotel but I feel the breakfast experience was more special than usual. Highly recommended both for a family or couple holiday and for business or an event

Im not one to leave negative reviews. However they were not only rude they made me rent a whole other room for my 11yr old and 10MONTH old! Not to mention we stayed there due to a flight change and we would be there less than 8hrs!!! They did not help me heat wayer for baby and thier amenities were none even kitchen/restaurant was closed. Had to walk into town up and down hills if we wanted anything. I could not believe how rude they were!! The sheets smelled AWFUL and so did towels. Would not recommend!

The view from this hotel is breathtaking! Although it is less than an hour from the amenities of Rome, the hotel area is very peaceful and quiet. A strip of amazing restaurants is a short 10 minute walk away and we greatly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace.

The hotel is a bit dated. It has great views, but it’s a bit over 10 minutes to town on a street with narrow sidewalks and you have to cross speeding traffic twice. The hotel restaurant isn’t open; they only serve buffet breakfast. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbor coughing all night and his alarm ringing at odd hours. We arrived at 1:30, but the staff told us to return after 2:00 for check in. I’ve never had a hotel not check for an available room. The AC ran all night and could only manage to cool the room from 25.5 to 24. I had it set to 20. They tried to reset it once, but it didn’t work any better.

Udearealerne omkring restauranten må ikke benyttes hvis der er arrangementer hvorfor man stort set er henvist til arealer uden udsigt. Baren som ikke er bemandet medmindre du finder en person fra receptionen serverede en drink hvor der lå noget af en opvaskertablet i begge glas hvilket ikke må ske - Heldigvis så vi det rimeligt hurtigt hvorfor en evt. forgiftning ikke skete.

Beautifully situated hotel overlooking lake Albano offering excellent views. There is a seasonal rooftop outdoor pool as well as an inside pool/solarium. No restaurant for evening meals but well presented continental breakfast included. It's only a 10min walk to the charming old town with lots of restaurants and cafes etc. Also a short (but steep) walk to the train station. Unfortunately, there weren't many guests when we stayed and the hotel felt a little lacking in atmosphere. The main terrace and solarium areas were reserved for an event and not available to us during our stay. Our room window glazing panel was permanently steamed up obscuring the fabulous view and the rooftop pool appeared unfiltered and missing tiles. Overall, great location, friendly and attentive staff with magnificent views but needs a little maintenance here and there.

Had an amazing stay with my daughter. Wanted a place outside Rome to chill and see Castel Gandolfo and this was perfect . Alexio ( the lady ) sorry I misspell the name and Leornado were just perfect , helpful and kind . Even all the other staff we met during our stay including the restaurant girls during breakfast.
