The Originals City, Hôtel de Bordeaux, Bergerac centre

At the price point, this is a very superior hotel. It is approximately a block from the downtown Square near many many restaurants and all the rest of city center. Is this where I stay when I need to go to Bergerac.

Staff was VERY curious but the facilities were just average. I realize the building is ancient and it is quaint but it just seemed a bit stale.

We chose the Hotel de Bordeaux for our visit to Bergerac for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. And an excellent value! Our stay in Bergerac was very pleasant thanks to the Hotel de Bordeaux.

An unexpected stay due to change of plans so very last minute. Just a room, which luckily was all we needed. The room was basic, bed okay. The service was friendly, the hotel easy to find, the parking secure and also easy to find. Location right in the city was perfect. We went straight into the swimming pool to cool down, but after just a couple of minutes we were bitten all over by mosquitoes - not the hotel’s fault but I’m sure they must know from other guests about this, and when their staff clean the pool???
