Best place to stay in Frascati Close to the wonderful center and always a free place to park. Breakfast has been improved a lot .. Rooms are a bit old BUT true Italian. Just go and enjoy

We loved the Hotel Flora - an amazing property! We would recommend a stay here - the Hotel Flora has been owned over three generations - well maintained with gorgeous marble staircases and bathrooms. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are tranquil. So conveniently located to the railway station and the central town.

The positives - the staff were friendly and helpful and it was an easy walk into the town (uphill) - took about 5 minutes. The negatives - parking was dreadful, the first night we had to park on the street as the car park was full due to a wedding. Although there was a good choice for breakfast, it seems that once things had gone, they were not replenished. Reception area is good, but as you get gradually higher in the building, the worse the condition seems to be. We were on the third floor and there was a huge patch of damp ( complete with smell of damp) on the stairs to the 4th floor. Hot water takes an age to come through and the towels are very thin. There was no sign of a restaurant or the rooftop terrace being open. Also beware the air conditioning - staff in reception set the air conditioning, which overrides the controls in the room, we only found this out after a particularly, hot, humid and uncomfortable night. We were told we should have contacted reception (at 2am?). Would we stay here again - no.

Loved the hotel, but, the down sides were:- To have a shower you had to climb into a jacuzzi bath, the sides were quite high The restaurant wasn’t open, which no big deal as the restaurants in the town superb. The bar was closed. Told originally because it was May Day, but it never opened. It would have been nice to have a drink with our friends there

Hotel Flora is a beautiful facility nestled in the heart of Frascati, Italy. Located close to all attractions and within walking distance to the train, it was a lovely addition to our recent trip to Italy. The facilities were kept clean but, the tub leaked all over the floor as caulk just did not function accordingly. Not to bash the facility but, the extreme amounts of marble flooring and walls create a very loud environment which required some "shushing" of the guilty party of 10. Perhaps the caretaker could have intervened rather than having to remind folks that they are in a hotel, not a BnB. Sorry for the four star rating but, losing sleep due to obnoxious folk at 6am was just a bit of a nuisance.

Tre notti. La prima con un fastidiosissimo rumore dello scarico che mi ha tenuto sveglio tutta la notte. Il giorno dopo minè stata cambiata stanza, anche perché avevo chiesto una pulizia supplementare, dato che nel bagno c'erano formiche e cumuli di quello che sembrava cenere (forse era insetticida). Al check-out mi chiedono che avevo extra. Ho risposto nulla, tranne le bottigline d'acqua di cortesia che ho trovato nel frigo. Mi dicono: no, quelle sono a pagamento. Rispondo: ma non c'è scritto nulla, non c'è neanche un prezzo indicato. Risposta: lo dirò alla cameriera. Ed io: guardi che se non c'è un prezzo indicato non dovrei pagare. E la receptionist, impassibile, mi fattura 2 euro a bottiglietta, totale 8 euro.

Loved hotel Flora ! Staff very friendly & helpful ( booked all tickets for sites with help from lovely receptionist- minefield of online agents… be careful). Gorgeous spacious room- very comfy, clean, great powerful rainfall shower, unnecessarily fancy decorated ceiling! But made it feel like Rome!! Room staff not great at replenishing coffee etc but porter at reception just gave me a jar of coffee & all I needed so couldn’t be more helpful. Antique furniture created style but all freshly upholstered so more chic than shabby. Great breakfast- fresh fruit, croissants, eggs & bacon, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals…. All lovely & fresh. Station only short walk away BUT trains hourly only & occasionally 2 hour gap so need to look at Trenitalia timetable. Very cheap 2euro each way, 30 minutes, lots to see en route. BUT platform arriving is a 5-10 minute walk back to the station in Rome- a VERY long platform. You really don’t need the extra when Rome sightseeing is a very tiring distance anyway. Metro supplies only some areas- plan your routes well. Frascati town is lovely- 5 minutes uphill, eat with the locals at Ana Aruh

Kaffekoker på rommet som lovet, men ingen kaffe. Etterlyste dette med en gang, ble lovet, men kaffe kom ikke. Ble lovet igjen på kvelde, men kun decaffe kom. Fikk beskjed om å komme neste morgen. Da hadde de heller ikke kaffe, men jeg fikk aller nådigst lov å hente to kopper i frokostsalen. Hadde vært ute og gått lang tur. Tilbake var rommet opptatt av rørlegger for å reparere A/C, hadde vi aldri benyttet. Ønsket å være alene for å skifte, men de ville ikke forlate rommet før de var ferdige, tok ca 2 timer. Slikt bør varsles på forhånd! Toalettsetet var i stykker, men det ble ikke reparert. Internet på rommet var ubrukelig, måtte ut i hagen. Forøvrig Hadde fått oppgitt utsjekk 11:30, skriftlig. 11:05 ble oppringt på rommet og spurt om vi ikke skulle ut snart, eller om vi skulle bli et døgn til??? Drar nok ikke tilbake hit på en stund!!!!

Da hadde de heller ikke kaffe, men jeg fikk aller nådigst lov å hente to kopper i frokostsalen. Hadde vært ute og gått lang tur. Tilbake var rommet opptatt av rørlegger for å reparere A/C, hadde vi aldri benyttet. Ønsket å være alene for å skifte, men de ville ikke forlate rommet før de var ferdige, tok ca 2 timer. Slikt bør varsles på forhånd! Toalettsetet var i stykker, men det ble ikke reparert. Internet på rommet var ubrukelig, måtte ut i hagen. Forøvrig Hadde fått oppgitt utsjekk 11:30, skriftlig. 11:05 ble oppringt på rommet og spurt om vi ikke skulle ut snart, eller om vi skulle bli et døgn til??? Drar nok ikke tilbake hit på en stund!!!!

The positives - the staff were friendly and helpful and it was an easy walk into the town (uphill) - took about 5 minutes. The negatives - parking was dreadful, the first night we had to park on the street as the car park was full due to a wedding. Although there was a good choice for breakfast, it seems that once things had gone, they were not replenished. Reception area is good, but as you get gradually higher in the building, the worse the condition seems to be. We were on the third floor and there was a huge patch of damp ( complete with smell of damp) on the stairs to the 4th floor. Hot water takes an age to come through and the towels are very thin. There was no sign of a restaurant or the rooftop terrace being open. Also beware the air conditioning - staff in reception set the air conditioning, which overrides the controls in the room, we only found this out after a particularly, hot, humid and uncomfortable night. We were told we should have contacted reception (at 2am?). Would we stay here again - no.

Loved the hotel, but, the down sides were:- To have a shower you had to climb into a jacuzzi bath, the sides were quite high The restaurant wasn’t open, which no big deal as the restaurants in the town superb. Tre notti. La prima con un fastidiosissimo rumore dello scarico che mi ha tenuto sveglio tutta la notte. Il giorno dopo minè stata cambiata stanza, anche perché avevo chiesto una pulizia supplementare, dato che nel bagno c'erano formiche e cumuli di quello che sembrava cenere (forse era insetticida). We loved the Hotel Flora - an amazing property! We would recommend a stay here - the Hotel Flora has been owned over three generations - well maintained with gorgeous marble staircases and bathrooms. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are tranquil. So conveniently located to the railway station and the central town.

Hotel Flora is a beautiful facility nestled in the heart of Frascati, Italy. Located close to all attractions and within walking distance to the train, it was a lovely addition to our recent trip to Italy. The facilities were kept clean but, the tub leaked all over the floor as caulk just did not function accordingly. Not to bash the facility but, the extreme amounts of marble flooring and walls create a very loud environment which required some "shushing" of the guilty party of 10. Perhaps the caretaker could have intervened rather than having to remind folks that they are in a hotel, not a BnB. Sorry for the four star rating but, losing sleep due to obnoxious folk at 6am was just a bit of a nuisance.

Loved hotel Flora ! Staff very friendly & helpful ( booked all tickets for sites with help from lovely receptionist- minefield of online agents… be careful). Gorgeous spacious room- very comfy, clean, great powerful rainfall shower, unnecessarily fancy decorated ceiling! But made it feel like Rome!! Room staff not great at replenishing coffee etc but porter at reception just gave me a jar of coffee & all I needed so couldn’t be more helpful. Antique furniture created style but all freshly upholstered so more chic than shabby. Great breakfast- fresh fruit, croissants, eggs & bacon, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals…. All lovely & fresh. Station only short walk away BUT trains hourly only & occasionally 2 hour gap so need to look at Trenitalia timetable. Very cheap 2euro each way, 30 minutes, lots to see en route. BUT platform arriving is a 5-10 minute walk back to the station in Rome- a VERY long platform. You really don’t need the extra when Rome sightseeing is a very tiring distance anyway. Metro supplies only some areas- plan your routes well. Frascati town is lovely- 5 minutes uphill, eat with the locals at Ana Aruh

5 minute walk to Frascati train station. From there, 15 minute train ride to Ciampino airport or 30 minute train ride to Roma Termini. 5 minute walk to the main square in Frascati. Excellent breakfast.

La stanza 231che avevamo necessità di accortezza e leggera attenzione specie nel bagno,piuttosto datato e non completamente rifinito( piastrelle rotte, usura...) L hotel è meraviglioso esternamente e nel servizio personale...colazione a pagamento eccessivo non adeguata al prezzo ...poca scelta piuttosto di bassa qualità

To start with a positive the hotel is in a great location few minutes walk from the centre of Frascati and has onsite parking and if that's full on the street outside. BUT...... from the second we opened the door of our 'suite' we were disappointed and wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't just for one night. The suite consisted of the normal room and an additional small room full of furniture and another bed which was not requested. The room smelled damp and have visible signs of mould and was dirty, the shower was too low to get under (I'm 180cm), the mini bar was an old fridge that had one bottle of water and had to be turned off at night due to the noise it made sounding like a pool pump. The hotel had two maintenance issues too. The evening guests were told to close windows due to pest control in the gardens and in the morning there would be no hot water from 8.30am. AVOID!

Tutto sommato un buon hotel a Frascati, abbastanza centrale (5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza) e con parcheggio scoperto gratuito nella struttura. Ma qualche difetto migliorabile: wifi praticamente non utilizzabile (connessione non dura 5 secondi), manutenzione scarsa (porta del bagno ingrossata in basso, quindi non si chiude), colazione minimale e con poco ricambio (alle 09.30 niente cornetti, un solo kiwi, cappuccino servito praticamente quasi freddo). Domotica inesistente : togliendo la chiave/tessera le luci rimangono accese sempre. Personale gentile e disponibile ad aiutare, nessuna mia lamentela e bravi a loro. Basterebbe migliorare i punti suddetti e diventerebbe il miglior hotel di Frascati.
