The house was in a great location. Easy to get to many locations. I would just add that there is a size limit for the off street parking space. Only smaller vehicles will fit, otherwise you will need to park on the limited street parking.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the fact that this is a new rental and hasn’t shown much signs of wear having been nicely newly remodeled. Comfortable stay here. Nice layout for how small the home is. The glass table was not my favorite and the living room furniture was not comfortable. The landscaping could use some fine tuning. If those things were improved I could justify the high price. It was nice to have a small designated parking spot and the ability to easily walk to either lovers point or Red House cafe. The location was great and we liked being able to bring our little dog. Sanctuary has always been a great agency to rent from although they are very expensive. An earlier check in and later check out would be appreciated especially with the price you pay.

The house is in an ideal location in Pacific Grove: 1 block from Lover's Point and the oceanside walking trail, 2 blocks from downtown, 5 minutes from the weekly farmer's market, and a very short drive to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, 17-Mile Drive, Trader Joe's, etc. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything more perfectly situated. The house, originally built circa1880, has been very nicely updated, with all mod cons, and has a clean, modern feel. It's well-stocked with plenty of bath soaps, trash bags, laundry soap, TP, etc. - clearly someone is thinking things through. However, the house is small and comfortably accommodates no more than four adults (or two adults and three children). We were five adults, and at times it felt cramped. The allotted parking space is very, very tight - even a compact car would be a squeeze. And the kitchen isn't stocked for gourmet cooking, so plan to bring your own if you want to do a lot of cooking.

This house is a beautiful beach bungalow style home that feels brand new inside and perfectly appointed with everything you will need. The home is located on a quiet residential street with historic cottages all around, and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lover's Point Beach Park and trail. The town of pacific Grove with great restaurants and cute stores is also a 5 minute walk, and the neighborhood is very quiet and feels very safe and welcoming. The house offers off-street parking for a small car, and Cannery Row is just about a mile away that you can easily access by bike or by foot on the paved trail along the water. The home has three nice sized bedrooms and 2 nicely appointed bathrooms and a large living room and nice kitchen, and my only suggestion would be to have at least a queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom as double beds are in all three bedrooms and feel small for two adults. Overall, a fantastic home that we would definitely return to!

This house is great- exactly as pictured and comfortably fit 5 adults. Conveniently located for activities in Carmel, Monterey and a short stroll to the coast in Pacific Grove. We were surprised to find the washer/dryer not working but management made sure our laundry was taken care of. Would stay here again.

The beds were awesome and every amenity was covered. The bathrobes were so great that we drove to Carmel to visit Amie in hopes to buy some to take home. That was the only “miss”, that they don’t sell them. We couldn’t have found a nicer, more conveniently located, wonderful home to spend our week near Monterey.

The house was clean, comfortable, and well-situated to the beach and shops and restaurants. Check-in was straightforward. We had no issues arise during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We would easily stay again

The property is really nice and clean. We had major construction noise next door all day. The manager of the property was very responsive to our issues and complained to the county. My only addition would be window coverings in the back bedroom so it is not so bright. Ideal location, very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were quite comfortable. Without the construction issues (which are temporary) a great place to stay

However, the house is small and comfortably accommodates no more than four adults (or two adults and three children). We were five adults, and at times it felt cramped. The allotted parking space is very, very tight - even a compact car would be a squeeze. And the kitchen isn't stocked for gourmet cooking, so plan to bring your own if you want to do a lot of cooking.

The house was clean, comfortable, and well-situated to the beach and shops and restaurants. Check-in was straightforward. We had no issues arise during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We would easily stay again

This house is a beautiful beach bungalow style home that feels brand new inside and perfectly appointed with everything you will need. The home is located on a quiet residential street with historic cottages all around, and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lover's Point Beach Park and trail. The town of pacific Grove with great restaurants and cute stores is also a 5 minute walk, and the neighborhood is very quiet and feels very safe and welcoming. The house offers off-street parking for a small car, and Cannery Row is just about a mile away that you can easily access by bike or by foot on the paved trail along the water. The home has three nice sized bedrooms and 2 nicely appointed bathrooms and a large living room and nice kitchen, and my only suggestion would be to have at least a queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom as double beds are in all three bedrooms and feel small for two adults. Overall, a fantastic home that we would definitely return to!

the stay was great...the communication with the property manager was great...the only surprise was an added charge that was disclosed at the end of the renting process. once was aware of it i could have cancelled but chose to stay with that property because of location... i will be more attentive next time. but i would give the stary it self 5 stars

We loved our stay! The house was very clean, well-stocked, and just a block from the beach—so convenient with two toddlers. We even walked to the aquarium using the trail nearby. The thoughtful touches like the wine, cheese, and welcome note made it extra special. Highly recommend!

This house is great- exactly as pictured and comfortably fit 5 adults. Conveniently located for activities in Carmel, Monterey and a short stroll to the coast in Pacific Grove. We were surprised to find the washer/dryer not working but management made sure our laundry was taken care of. Would stay here again.

Family members enjoyed walking to the beach and town stores which were all within minutes. House very clean and comfortable for our group of five ages 40-58. Communication with management company was very prompt and professional. Great place to enjoy Monterey, PG and Pebble Beach!

We enjoyed our stay here but we would not come back to this location. The coffee pot was so dirty, we could not use it. There was crust all over the inside and it was apparent it had not be properly cared for or cleaned in some time. I sent photos to the management. Also the complementary wine, cheese and crackers was very nice. BUT, the cheese had already been opened. It appeared that the previous renters had already opened it. There was no seal on the cheese. I hope the host did not expect us to eat cheese that had been previously opened and used. I also sent photos of that to management. Lastly, the ceiling fans in both bedrooms were covered in dust. We were lucky to have great weather and one of the bedrooms was really warm. We turned on the fan and it started to rain dust onto the bed. We cleaned off the bed and did not turn on the other bedroom fan. I also sent photos of the fans to management. The location is great. The house is nicely update. It is a very quiet location at night. You can walk down to Lover's Point and downtown. Thank goodness this house has it's own parking spot. There is NO WHERE to park in the street. My Chevy 1500 barely fit. It was a tight fit and I had to close the side passenger mirror to fit in the parking spot. After being out all day, we just wish it had somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The front porch had a hard metal type bench instead of comfortable chairs. There is no useable yard at all.

The moment I checked-in, I was awed by the cleanliness of the whole house, and the host actually welcomed me with complimentary bottle of wine, crackers and some cheese spread. They also provided me amply towels and beach towels as well. The interior is also very nice, you can tell the owner had upgraded the home. The location is awesome with only 1 block to the Lover's Point Beach. Also 3 blocks to downtown Pacific Grove where there are many nice restaurants to choose. The neighborhood is very safe, I walked my dog at 9-10 pm with no issue. My only warning is if you drive a big suv like me, it might be little tight to park at the off street parking spot provided (I made it, but very tight)

Clean, comfortable, and cute home right in the heart of Pacific Grove with ample amenities (plenty of plates, cups, etc., even a bottle of wine waiting for us!). Our family walked almost everywhere (minutes from coffee and restaurants, 20 min to the aquarium). Would love to stay again!
