Thank you Julien and the entire staff for the warm hospitality and great advice for navigating the French Riviera. Also, the coffee shop and restaurant next to the hotel was perfect! The location is ideal to access the best parts of Nice, would stay again!

Loved the location across from the cathedral. Very walkable, with the tram stations within 5 minutes and the train station in 8 minutes. Grocery store and mall across the street. Staff were the best. Lots of amenities available. Breakfast was at the cafe below, so coffee and pastry tray at tables beneath the cathedral, watching people go by. Great gelato place on the same block. There is a tiny two-person elevator for those who can’t do stairs.

Not a good experience here. I travel around the world this year and stayed in many different hotels. I usually don’t write a review. But I feel I should write one for this hotel. The front desk staff asked me to pay for breakfast and told me it’s really good. In fact, this is one of the worst breakfast I had. The elevator is extremely small and can’t even fit 2 persons with luggage. There are some other issues that definitely need to be improved. I hope there will do.

Lite og greit hotel i næheten av det meste. Super hyggelig ansatte. Rommet var ganske lite, men det har kjøleskap. Vi hadde rom mot bakgården som er en helt annen utsikt enn det som er bilder av, men da unngår man også støy fra hovedgaten. Hotel could not have been better. Such a beautiful area, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station, eat breakfast while looking at the cathedral, and attached to a cafe with a ton of gluten free options. The staff were also all so absolutely lovely and helpful, every single one went above and beyond. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Front desk manager was super helpful! We were only in Nice for 10 hours but he recommended we walk to the old castle ruins and see the view of the city — gave us a map & great directions. What a must see, it was incredible. Then gave us a great dinner recommendation as well. Property is very continently located. Only items is that it’s quiet noisy at night (which they can’t help being in the city), no parking close to the hotel (& have to pay separately for parking), bed was a little uncomfortable and shower didn’t work super well in our room. Can’t complain for the price though, you could tell the staff cared about the hotel. Overall really great stay.

The room is small and basic. There is a tiny shower stall that isn’t very clean. Most receptionist are nice (2 were wonder) with the exception of 1. The location is good if you want lots of shopping or the train access. For me I think we would prefer to be closer to the beach but that’s just a personal preference. There is a cafe and restaurant next to hotel which were good, Overall just ok.

We were very excited by the location of this hotel. However, as soon as we checked in (by the most lovely staff, some of the nicest people we met), we were surprised to hear what sounded like our upstairs neighbors bowling and dropping every item they owned. This continued for 4 days. We also had next door neighbors who would leave their door open while drunkenly screaming and blasting music. We were told to call the front desk or use WhatsApp to get ahold of the reception for any issues, but never received an answer despite multiple attempts. The rooms are small but manageable, as we didn’t need a lot of space. However, the bathrooms are so small that some people may not be able to even close the door while using the toilet. Upon checkout, we found ants ALL over our hotel room floor which was very gross. Overall 3/5, we started off very happy but the noise and ants definitely took it down some points. Pros: kindest, most helpful staff imaginable. Location. Very nice decor. Neighbors coffee shop and restaurant. Also, extra towels and toilet paper, as well as different pillow choices available at your disposal. Cons: very loud, lack of responsiveness, cleanliness (ants), tiny bathrooms

Could use a deep cleaning. Bathroom was dingy and all corners dirty. Walls are think and pipes are loud. Typical very small French room. Biggest problem was coming in late the overnight man was not at the 24/7 reception desk and after ringing the bell and even calling I started knocking on the glass door and he woke up and came over to let me in. He was annoyed with me (literally the night of the Grand Prix, parties don’t end till 5 am and it was well before that). He asked why I didn’t use the code (what code) and why I didn’t ring the other bell (the one marked handicap ramp). What?!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war einfach grossartig! Das Personal war äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, modern und vor allem makellos sauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war einfach grossartig! Das Personal war äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. I choose this hotel because it is centrally located and close to the Nice-Ville train station. When I checked in I was told that I had booked a basic room but I could upgrade to a bigger, nicer room for 10 euros a night which I did. The room was still quite basic and small but it had a view of the Cathedral which was nice. No idea what room I would have gotten had I not upgraded but the one I got was still quite small. I am travelling solo so it was not a problem. Two people in the room would have felt very tight. I was initially worried about the hearing the cathedral bells that go off in the morning but I could barely hear them and was not bothered. Small showers are quite common in older European hotels, but this one was very small. I am a 6'0" 190 lb. man and found it very tight. Not a big deal though. My only real complain about the hotel was that the water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating wildly from scorching hot to freezing and back and it never really let up so you couldn't relax at all in the shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even let me borrow a Wi-Fi gadget to walk around with so that I wouldn't have to use data roaming all day.

Easy 5mins walk to station so handy for early train. Room fairly basic but fine. Pretty view out the front but that can come with street noise, in our case very early morning even with windows closed. Internal noise also an issue as music audible middle of the night. Did not have the breakfast as left at 7am but the cafe seems very popular.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, lige ved siden af Nortre Dame. Sidegade til hoved boulevarden med sporvognene, nemt at komme rund i Nice, men også længere væk da hoved banegården er få hundrede meter væk. Værelserne er meget små, virkelig små, men standen er flot. På værelserne er der ingen fra lægnings mulighed, skabe eller hylder endsige knage, I kommer til at leve ud af kufferterne.

Bittelite rom med hard madrass. Det var praktisk talt kun plass til senga på rommet og kalde fliser på badet. Servicen var det ingenting å klage på og frokosten på naborestaurnten var god. Veldig hyggelige folk. Ligger rett ved trikken/hovedgate med mange restauranter og butikker.

We were very excited by the location of this hotel. However, as soon as we checked in (by the most lovely staff, some of the nicest people we met), we were surprised to hear what sounded like our upstairs neighbors bowling and dropping every item they owned. This continued for 4 days. We also had next door neighbors who would leave their door open while drunkenly screaming and blasting music. We were told to call the front desk or use WhatsApp to get ahold of the reception for any issues, but never received an answer despite multiple attempts. The rooms are small but manageable, as we didn’t need a lot of space. However, the bathrooms are so small that some people may not be able to even close the door while using the toilet. Upon checkout, we found ants ALL over our hotel room floor which was very gross. Overall 3/5, we started off very happy but the noise and ants definitely took it down some points. Pros: kindest, most helpful staff imaginable. Location. Very nice decor. Neighbors coffee shop and restaurant. Also, extra towels and toilet paper, as well as different pillow choices available at your disposal. Cons: very loud, lack of responsiveness, cleanliness (ants), tiny bathrooms

Very friendly and helpful staff! I was heading on day trips out of nice and around town and they gave me great directions for trams and busses. They also gave me a late check out and kept my bags because I had a late train. Great proximity to the train station and various places to eat. Very clean room, bathroom and mini fridge.

First off - I’ve booked this hotel 2x previously. This time we arrived at 12m and was told our room was ready, but couldn’t get the keys to the room unless we paid 10 euros. Instead we left our bags and came back. I asked for our VIP gifts and was given a drink coupon. Would be have been nice to have gotten the keys to the room instead. Won’t stay here again as it seems they want to get every cent out of the guests versus customer service.

The stay in the Hotel du Centre was excellent, made more comfortable thanks to the amazing staff that manages it. Considering our small twin kids we have special necessities regarding the food, and Julian and the staff were always ready to support us with all the amenities we needed. Thank you guys. The location is on a walkable distance from the central station and right in front of the main Cathedral. The old city center is 10-15 minutes by walk. There are different options for the breakfast. In the morning you can have a coffee right below the Cathedral with amazing views and sunshine.

Could use a deep cleaning. Bathroom was dingy and all corners dirty. Walls are think and pipes are loud. Typical very small French room. Biggest problem was coming in late the overnight man was not at the 24/7 reception desk and after ringing the bell and even calling I started knocking on the glass door and he woke up and came over to let me in. He was annoyed with me (literally the night of the Grand Prix, parties don’t end till 5 am and it was well before that). He asked why I didn’t use the code (what code) and why I didn’t ring the other bell (the one marked handicap ramp). What?!

Loved the location across from the cathedral. Very walkable, with the tram stations within 5 minutes and the train station in 8 minutes. Grocery store and mall across the street. Staff were the best. Lots of amenities available. Breakfast was at the cafe below, so coffee and pastry tray at tables beneath the cathedral, watching people go by. Great gelato place on the same block. There is a tiny two-person elevator for those who can’t do stairs.

Brilliant location in the heart of Nice, walking distance to the beach, old town & the port, train station is close by and easy to get the train to Monaco. Hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. Rooms were small but clean and perfect for what we needed. Tram station to get to the airport is close by too and takes you straight to the airport.

Not a good experience here. I travel around the world this year and stayed in many different hotels. I usually don’t write a review. But I feel I should write one for this hotel. The front desk staff asked me to pay for breakfast and told me it’s really good. In fact, this is one of the worst breakfast I had. The elevator is extremely small and can’t even fit 2 persons with luggage. There are some other issues that definitely need to be improved. I hope there will do.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming boutique hotel in Nice. The hotel was beautifully designed and comfortable. My room had a stunning view of the Notre-Dame Basilica, which was lovely through the large windows that opened, there was a gate across rather than a true balcony. One of the highlights of my stay was the HUG Café attached to the hotel. I pre-purchased my breakfast, which was affordable and gluten-free. The café had a great selection of gluten-free options, all of which were delicious. Their cappuccino was hands-down the best I had during my entire trip—absolutely perfect! The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a coffee and tea station. Upon arrival, I was provided with complimentary bottled water, which was a nice touch. While there was no shampoo or conditioner provided, the hand soap and body wash were of good quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and fluent in multiple languages, making communication effortless. I did have one minor issue with the heating unit not being synced to the remote control, but the staff was quick to assist. One thing to note is that this isn’t a quiet area—the basilica bells ring hourly, and the street outside is bustling with activity, including the tram. However, I didn’t mind at all, as I’m used to a city atmosphere. A major perk was being able to watch the Carnaval parade right from my window! Such a unique experience!

We were three friends who are on an early easter vacation. We stayed at the hotel in Nice for three days. We are all very pleased with the hotel. Very centrally locasted. The staff was very friendly and helpfu with help to find places to go and trips on restaurant to select. If there is one thing that detracts and its a small matter in the full of it, the breakfast. Maybe give the hotel clients a greater choice in what to choose for breakfast at the restaurant nextdoor. But beyond that little detail, we were very happy with the hotel, and would certainly stay there again, if we were to come back to Nice.

Fantastic base for exploring Nice and beyond. On the main street but very quiet at night. Beds very comfortable and shower enormous. Our room was compact but totally fine for us. We arrived in the middle of the night and the night porter was fantastic. Check in was quick and he gave us lots of information on where to eat and things to see in Nic. Would definitely use again.

Great hotel, easy walk from the station. Had a lovey balcony room, looking straight out onto the church (bells do not ring all night!). The reception staff knew we were only staying one night and gave some really good suggestions for what to look at, and a fantastic recommendation for a tasty, local evening meal. The room was clean and homely, with a really comfortable bed after a long day of travel by train.
