Location was great with a short walk to the beach. Parking on site was nice, but make sure to have a small vehicle. Air conditioning wasn't working. They did provide fans when we asked about the room temperature.

Excellent location. Parking is tight, but thankfully available. Felt very safe and at home for our 1 week in Nice. Highly recommend.

Our second stay in the Goldstar was even better than the first (except they no longer have the lovely pool). We had a two room suite, which was well equipped, comfortable and reasonably quiet. Cleaning services are available if required. The location is perfect for the beach and access to the many shopping areas and restaurants. It's only about a 10 minute walk to the central train station if you want to visit nearby resorts, such as the wonderful Beaulieu sur Mer, Villefranche, Antibes etc. Another advantage is that it is very close to Alsace Lorraine tram station, which is a few stops away from the airport. We love it.

The location was perfect and the room was spacious enough accommodate my family. The parking space was not enough that it needs reserve a space in advance. The parking area is narrow and it will get you in trouble if you bring a giant SUV.

Réservation sur site ok , je demande un paiement sur place et surprise retrait sur la carte de crédit caution enregistrée. Je téléphone pour demander le remboursement, très très mal reçu et on me dit que le jour de mon arrivée ce sera remboursé avec ma carte de crédit . Le jour de l’arrivée je tombe sur une personne désagréable (blinde accent slave) qui me rembourse sans me demander ma carte mais qui encaisse tout le séjour donc une seconde fois car le remboursement n’apparaîtra que 4 jours après (week end oblige) . Bref entre les 25€ la place de parking la nuit, la douche entartrée qui donne de l’eau chaude après 10 min , un soi disant suite hôtel pour 2 nuits avec 3 sticks de café soluble et 2 sachets de thé pour 2, ou encore la literie qui laisse à désirer, le prix est vraiment trop cher . Seul point positif emplacement correct et réceptionniste de l’après midi ( avec des lunettes et accent slave aussi) très sympa . A bon entendeur fuyez

Nice service. Great location with dining options, proximity to the beach and grocery store. Nice room / suite, but the electric socket covers (wall plate) were not properly fixed (none of them) - they would fall from the weight of the cables plugged. The parking lot under the building has extremely narrow passages - very high risk of scraping any car other than mini coopers. There is a Meyer Parking down the street that maybe better.

Closed swimming pool was a big disappointment- otherwise it was a great staying in the hotel ( the AC was a bit noisy)

Helt ok. Bassenget på taket er varig stengt og garasjen er sykt trang. Men komfortabel rom og AC som virker godt. God beliggenhet.

Shower was leaking , room was very old and dirty, room cleaning is every 4 days, not enough supply, refrigerator wasn’t working, spider web was all over the room no plastic for trash can, iron was t working, safe wasn’t getting locked, only 1 elevator was working which you had to wait 7-10 mins every time you want to use elevator, not enough towels in a shower for 4 people. Simply waste of money. I wouldn’t go back here

Spacious and beautiful room, linen was clean, bed was comfortable, very walkable. Internet connection was bad, we were unable to connect to internet at all

A clean spacious comfortable room but I believe this property needs some serious remodeling and upgrading to be a 4 star property. There was a big stain on the couch in the main area that we ended up putting a bedding sheet on it to cover it. I will give it 3 out of 5.

Buona la posizione, ambiente vasto e luminoso e personale cortese e disponibile ma la struttura è molto datata e ha standard inferiori a 4 stelle. Vaso e bidet per utilizzarli bisogna praticamente sedersi per terra, la cucina molto piccola e con il pensile troppo profondo che quasi si tocca la testa per aprire il rubinetto. La doccia molto scivolosa. Dotazioni veramente all'osso: 3 bicchieri, 3 coltelli, 3 forchette, 3 piatti piccoli ecc. per cui diventa quasi ridicola la presenza della lavastoviglie. La pulizia, su richiesta, la fanno quando sei presente in camera e non tutti i giorni: mai sentito in un 4 stelle. La governante molto simpatica e disponibile ci ha comunque fatto le pulizie in nostra assenza e fornito la biancheria. Il soggiorno è molto spoglio e limitato all'ingresso e all'accettazione e la colazione la servono nell'albergo di fronte. Peccato perché ristrutturato adeguatamente e "svecchiato" avrebbe grandi possibilità.

Bad smell,dirtiest hotel ever.we asked for cleaning they literally just arranged the bed without changed the dirt stuff without cleaning the room the last night we couldn’t sleep because of bad smell i will upload some photo which i entered the room after the cleaning

Good: walking distance to promenade and Old Town. Bad: older property w outdated rooms. Found cigarette butts in our bathroom without compensation. Old bathroom w/out proper shower

오박중 수건은 한번만 체인지 가능 청소도 한번 비싼값에 굳이 이곳은 아닌것 같아요 해변은 어디에서건 접근 용이하고 다시 니스 방문한다면 구시가지에 작은곳으로 가격 좋은곳으로 가겠습니다. 숙박하는 내내 소음이 심했고 심지어 개도 숙박 가능해서 ㅎㅎ 짓는소리에 자고 짓는 소리에 깼어요

Went back to Nice and to this hotel after 12 years. Chose to return to this place because we were happy with the spaciousness and mini kitchen. We were upgraded to a bigger one bedroom suite which was huge. We brought food to eat in for dinner a couple of nights and so made good use of the kitchen facilities: microwave, plates and dishwasher. The chairs by the little dining table were so comfortable we didn't even use the couch. Bathroom was big with a separate toilet. There was no conditioner or lotion so we bought conditioner. We were not explained the housekeeping process during check-in, so we were surprised to find the suite not cleaned the next day. It is complimentary once every 3 days so we requested it for the second day of our 3 night stay. Location is excellent, a few blocks from the beach and the area is full of restaurants, mini markets, a few blocks from a carrefour and boulangerie. It's a slightly long walk to the old town area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet. Some streetnoise late into Saturday night but nothing bad. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would come back here if we're in Nice again! Cons: We'd have liked a coffee machine in the kitchen especially since we were eating breakfast in every morning.

We stayed in room 208. Location is good. In the center of Nice, close to the beach, the Promenade, many restaurants and shops. There's a good grocery store nearby. If you do not speak French, most of the shops and restaurants have people who speak English. Quiet, easy to sleep, air conditioning works well, so does hot water. The suite was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. But there were a few little things that, if added, would have made it excellent. So I am adding this to help the owners. First, when I booked the room it said that bath robes were available upon request. When I checked in, they said they had no bath robes. Second, there are a few small details that would help greatly improve the experience. I say this about almost every hotel, but there are never enough hooks or racks to dry towels. No hook or ring to hang the hand towel near the sink. It's such a quick and inexpensive thing, why don't hotels provide them? Also, the bath/shower has no curtain or enclosure. A small bath mat and no enclosure means a slippery floor which is a hazard. Water gets everywhere, so one has to be careful. The electric towel rack is nice, but not big enough for 2 towels folded in half. You need to fold them by quarter width-wise and stuff them into the space. The apartment has a small kitchenette, with a two-burner range and a microwave, impossible to wash dishes without hitting your head. A small toaster oven would good. Cleaning once a week. Need more hangers for clothes.

Rooms are very old, you can feel that no renovation have been made for 10-15 years. Furniture is very shabby, half of light switches and sockes do not work. The room rate included cleaning only one time for 4 days, if you want additional cleaning you have to pay and be lucky that cleaning staff is avalable that day. Nonsence. You can't even closely compare to the lower level and cheaper hotels in Asia, Middle east and Turkey.

Very spacious room. Fantastic staff. Upon checking in, I was told that I can have my room cleaned once during my stay and that I would need to tell the reception one day in advance of the day I need the cleaning. The cleaning was excellent and the cleaners even arranged for a plumber to fix a problem with the shower in my room. Really convenient location.

The apart/hotel was very clean with a great staff. Friendly and helpful. Our room was very big which was fantastic. Great location to everything within walking distance. Loved Nice

Hôtel très bien placé à 5 min de La plage et 15 min du vieux Nice. Chambre climatisée très agréable par les fortes chaleurs. Nous avons cependant étés déçus de l’accueille. Réceptionniste peu accueillante, Check d’arrivée très long et aucune explication ou conseils quand au lieu à visité ou au fonctionnement de l’hôtel simplement. Quel que souci dans la chambre aussi, protection des prises électriques qui tombe, porte qui ne se ferme pas dans l’appartement.

We were happy to find this place pretty last minute, and reasonably priced compared to other properties in Nice. Having a small kitchen is a must on long trips, and we found multiple small grocery stores within 2-4 minutes walk from the hotel. Loads of bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and shops nearby, laundromat on the next corner and only a few blocks from the beach. Great location, very safe to walk around and very central. Street parking is basically unavailable, so we opted to pay for underground parking from the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Nice :)

We had a great stay in this hotel - the staff were very friendly, and although we had an issue with our shower, this was quickly resolved while we were out for the day. The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the beach and train station - would definitely recommend!

Air France canceló el vuelo y no pudimos llegar. La politica de cancelación del hotel es muy agresiva y perdimos las dos noches reservadas. Mala empatia hacia el cliente.

Muy lejos de ser un hotel 4 estrellas! No hay relación precio valor. Muy deteriorada las instalaciones. El WC quedaba botando agua, la ducha manguera no se podía ajustar de altura y posición por lo que se moja todo el piso del baño, la cafetera con moho. Pedí unas toallas y me las entregaron en recepción 12h después. Fui dos veces a recogerlas y no había nadie que atendiera. Es un apartamento bastante completo y espacioso pero no se acerca a ser un hotel 4 estrellas.

Trotz Buchungsbestätigung. Hat uns (Vier köpfige Familie) eine Dame am Rezeption mitgeteilt, wir haben keine Zimmer mehr. Unsere Buchung wurde storniert. Es wurde uns keine Alternative Lösung vermittelt und mussten die Lounge verlassen

The convinence and proximity to everything.

The hotel is very old - no tissue was provided so we had to use toilet paper. No coffee maker and no bathrobes available although they said they have them on the website. The queen bed was basically two single beds so it was hard in the middle.. the kitchen is not fully equipped.. no knives, spatulas etc..

Dormito solo 2 notti. Camera molto bella, spaziosa con piccola cucina ben attrezzata per colazione. Letto matrimoniale molto comodo. Divano letto matrimoniale abbastanza comodo. Una mini suite con possibilità di separare ambienti mediante porta scorrevole. Animali ammessi, il mio cane ha gradito il soggiorno. Parcheggio sotterraneo un po’ stretto e un po’ difficile per macchine tipo SUV ma comunque buono per avere l’auto al coperto e in sede. Cosa non mi è piaciuto: la stanza non è stata rifatta dopo la prima notte e non è stato effettuato il cambio asciugamani. Non è prevista possibilità di fare colazione se non cucinandosela da soli in camera. Hanno tentato, probabilmente per il un loro disguido di farmi pagare 2 volte la tassa di soggiorno e ho dovuto discutere mostrando l’addebito della carta di credito. A parte ciò struttura moderna e in ottima posizione per visitare Nizza.

We loved the location and the quiet. We were three so the suite style set up gave us much needed room-with a wonderfully spacious bathroom! The only thing we missed was no restaurant for early coffee or breakfast/just a coffee machine in the lobby.They did not have updated coffee machines in the room which made it feel a bit/ little outdated with old coffee pots being provided. Good coffee machines have become a standard and was definitely missed here. The room and beds were great--really comfortable. If you are looking for quiet and comfort--you'll be happy!

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights.... The hotel is a great place to stay! The room was very quiet and provided lots of space to spread out and enjoy anytime spent in the room! A mini kitchen was perfect for a few quick meals (with a small grocery just 1 block away!). Would be nice if the hotel had a towel in the kitchen for drying the dishes though. The hotel was just 3 blocks for the seaside which was a quick walk. Staff were great. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.
