Hotel Haus Duden

The hotel ist old and in bad condition. The fridge was broken and the receptionist said that there is nothing they can do with it, change of the room was not posdible at all. What is mote I was told that the owner is aware of the sytuation. The hotel is far away, in a midfle of nowhere and dinner also not possible. No coffee machine no kettle in room. I suppose that it is not fair to adwerise things, charge for it and not provide. The only good thing is sauna.

It's a big hotel with lots of rooms. It was very quiet when I visited. My room was comfortable and clean but very gloomy and dark. The lighting was poor.

Het is ietwat verouderd, maar bedden zijn prima. Ook sanitair is netjes, hoewel de douche een typische 'sterke' straal heeft, maar daar wen je wel aan. Aangezien er personeelsproblemen zijn in de keuken, is het restaurant en de bar in de avond gesloten, alleen een ruim ontbijt is beschikbaar. Dat er dan ook nog een koelkast op de kamer ontbreekt, maakt het er niet beter op. Ook dat restaurants op minimaal 6 kilometer afstand zitten, vind ik dit hotel op dit moment geen aanrader.

Het hotel lag lekker rustig in het groen. Parkeren gratis en ruim. Personeel was aardig. De kamers zijn simpel en het bed van de klassieke kamer was vrij klein. Het ontbijt was prima. Wesel en Xanten zijn leuke stadjes
