This property was perfect for our group of 9. We especially enjoyed the sunroom off the back with the large table - great for playing board games and putting together puzzles, or eating with a large group. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you!

me the wife the two kids and the mother-in-law up to kick around the lake for a few days. Found this gem on the map - not in town but close to EVERYTHING! Seriously, 20 mins. to the beach, 30 mins to the casino, less than half an hour to everything fun to do between Toledo and Sandusky. The house is a modern update of an old farm house and is very well appointed. superb, modern kitchen with all the appliances. fresh bathroom remodels with great water pressure. satellite and ROKU. Comfy furniture. games and tons of toys for the kiddos (cornhole, cards, etc.). beautiful night skies on the big firepit chairs and country quiet to sleep soundly. Try the Kozy Corner restaurant in Oak Harbor for breakfast - delicious, large portions and prices from 20 years ago - 5 minutes from your front door! The owners were quick to respond to questions and super helpful, providing a list of fun things in the area you might otherwise have missed. Legit 5 out of 5 A experience!

Our part of 10 had a wonderful 5 day stay. The location is peaceful, but close enough to destinations that the travel time is still convenient. We were well supplied with towels and kitchen utensils. The porches were a favorite amongst everyone. We would definitely love to return in the future.

We fished Erie. Close to Wild Wings, 10 min or less. Not a bad drive to Catawba or Mazerik with the highway bypassing Port Clinton. About a half hour drive. Nice big driveway for boat parking. Fish table was nice, asked for a light and they set one up. They were nice enough to dump the carcasses for us so left us time to focus on catching more. House was nice. Good for a group of 5-6 guys. It’s an old farm house, so rooms are a bit odd. Stairs go up in one of the bedrooms and one bedroom upstairs is in the middle of the house between the other two bedrooms and the bathroom. We will be staying here again if we have a bigger group like this time.

Our family of 9 (4 children and 5 adults) stayed here and there was plenty of room. We utilized the 4 bedrooms and still had another bed available for use. The king bed downstairs is AMAZING. I can’t speak for the other beds bc I didn’t sleep on them. Originally I thought there was only 1 bathroom but it looks like the owners put in a 2nd upstairs bathroom which is super cute with a laundry shoot. The property was about 30 min from Port Clinton which is where we spent a lot of our day. It was nice to escape the city and get back into the country for the evening. Bon fires, grilling out, flying kites. No worries of neighbors (to a certain extent). Everything you can think of is in the home: linens, towels (not for the beach), pots and pans, tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher, plates, toys for the kids, awesome sun room and back yard with fire pit. No complaints here! We are already talking about scheduling another family trip and returning!

Clean, quiet, COMFY beds, supplied well, and great communication! I couldn't have asked for more. My father in law even told us we might incur an added expense because he wanted to take his mattress home. He also loved being away from the city and town. The kitchen was very similar to mine, so it made cooking easy and had even more supplies than I needed. It worked out that we didn't need the room with the twin beds. I'm thankful, I know my oldest would have been bothered that it didn't have a door. My kids loved having their own space and TV's upstairs. It was a great weekend with family. Thank you for sharing your old farm house with us!!!

Our yearly trek to Ohio to visit our son was a hit! The house was well stocked, very welcoming and clean. The owner greeted us upon check in and was extremely nice. We stayed at the house the entire weekend watching football and eating good food. The kitchen and open floor plan is great for families. Beds were comfortable. we have no complaints!

We rented this unit for our fishing charter trip for 6 of us. It was an outstanding place! Clean, comfortable, convenient, plenty of space. It accommodated all of us with separate beds. A bathroom with full shower upstairs and downstairs. We wanted to book for next year and the dates are already taken.

As our family has grown and our kids have gotten married, we were looking for a place where we could all gather together and this was the perfect spot. With a large, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful dining gathering table, and the spacious living room, we had plenty of room to gather together but then spread out for free time. The house is very clean, the property is beautiful and everything we needed was available. We highly recommend this home!

We had a fishing trip on Lake Erie. This home was only 8 minutes from the Wild Wing complex and marina and 15 minutes from the town of Oak Harbor. Our hosts Gayle and Dave are super. Their place had everything in it that you needed. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It is located in the country and is very safe. We will be back next year!

The home was a great size and had tons of space for our family. We went to Cedar Point and it was a decent distance to get to and from. The home had all the amenities like towels, glasses, cooking supplies which was more than our need but great for those who need them. Overall great location and stay.

Great country house, many amenities, 5 bedrooms but sleeping arrangements a little odd, 2 bedrooms downstairs are great , but upstairs bedrooms are inter-connected so privacy is comprised! Not a Hugh deal but one to be aware of in mixed company, overall a great place for a group, owners are nearby to help with any issues if needed, will definitely stay here again!

Property was perfect for our weekend of hanging out and watching football. Big tv, comfortable furniture and beds. Modern kitchen with open floor concept. Guys can be in the kitchen cooking and not missing the game. We had a great time and loved the property. Very peaceful.

No complaints here! We are already talking about scheduling another family trip and returning!
Our family of 9 (4 children and 5 adults) stayed here and there was plenty of room. We utilized the 4 bedrooms and still had another bed available for use. The king bed downstairs is AMAZING. I can’t speak for the other beds bc I didn’t sleep on them. Originally I thought there was only 1 bathroom but it looks like the owners put in a 2nd upstairs bathroom which is super cute with a laundry shoot. The property was about 30 min from Port Clinton which is where we spent a lot of our day. It was nice to escape the city and get back into the country for the evening. Bon fires, grilling out, flying kites. No worries of neighbors (to a certain extent). Everything you can think of is in the home: linens, towels (not for the beach), pots and pans, tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher, plates, toys for the kids, awesome sun room and back yard with fire pit. No complaints here! We are already talking about scheduling another family trip and returning!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lickert Harder or Knot Lodge. The location was perfect for our planned activities and the house was comfortable and cozy. Gayle was a great host and encouraged us to let her know if we needed anything. Seeing the snow geese out in the surrounding fields was a bonus. We would come here again!

me the wife the two kids and the mother-in-law up to kick around the lake for a few days. Found this gem on the map - not in town but close to EVERYTHING! Seriously, 20 mins. to the beach, 30 mins to the casino, less than half an hour to everything fun to do between Toledo and Sandusky. The house is a modern update of an old farm house and is very well appointed. superb, modern kitchen with all the appliances. fresh bathroom remodels with great water pressure. satellite and ROKU. Comfy furniture. games and tons of toys for the kiddos (cornhole, cards, etc.). beautiful night skies on the big firepit chairs and country quiet to sleep soundly. Try the Kozy Corner restaurant in Oak Harbor for breakfast - delicious, large portions and prices from 20 years ago - 5 minutes from your front door! The owners were quick to respond to questions and super helpful, providing a list of fun things in the area you might otherwise have missed. Legit 5 out of 5 A experience!

Several members of our party went birding while others stayed back to make meals, play games, and relax. Gayle and David, our host were friendly and helpful. The home is spacious and comfortable. We are returning next year.

We had a fishing trip on Lake Erie. This home was only 8 minutes from the Wild Wing complex and marina and 15 minutes from the town of Oak Harbor. Our hosts Gayle and Dave are super. Their place had everything in it that you needed. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It is located in the country and is very safe. We will be back next year!

The home was a great size and had tons of space for our family. We went to Cedar Point and it was a decent distance to get to and from. The home had all the amenities like towels, glasses, cooking supplies which was more than our need but great for those who need them. Overall great location and stay.

Our part of 10 had a wonderful 5 day stay. The location is peaceful, but close enough to destinations that the travel time is still convenient. We were well supplied with towels and kitchen utensils. The porches were a favorite amongst everyone. We would definitely love to return in the future.

We fished Erie. Close to Wild Wings, 10 min or less. Not a bad drive to Catawba or Mazerik with the highway bypassing Port Clinton. About a half hour drive. Nice big driveway for boat parking. Fish table was nice, asked for a light and they set one up. They were nice enough to dump the carcasses for us so left us time to focus on catching more. House was nice. Good for a group of 5-6 guys. It’s an old farm house, so rooms are a bit odd. Stairs go up in one of the bedrooms and one bedroom upstairs is in the middle of the house between the other two bedrooms and the bathroom. We will be staying here again if we have a bigger group like this time.

We had a great visit. This place is homey and comfy and is well stocked with everything you might need. If you are traveling in the winter, be advised that the table pictured is in a screened in porch that does not warm up so if you have plans for the table, plan accordingly. Otherwise, we loved it! It’s cute, quaint, and very family friendly. The hosts were very communicative and sweet - they even brought over little crafts for our kids. Highly recommend this place!
