L'hôtel a été rénové avec goût. Je m'y rendu l'année dernière et la transformation est spectaculaire. Les chambres sont très confortables, la salle de sport est un plus.

I loved my stay here for three nights. Street parking was convenient, and it's an easy walk to the walled city. They serve a very good breakfast and have a bar for a nightcap. I loved the lay out of the room. The people at reception were kind and helpful.

Overall the stay was fine. Needed to change rooms initially because of a noisy generator. Very small fitness area and the sauna/hammam is only accessible for an extra fee. The bed was comfortable, although the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. Staff were nice. Check-out at 12 was convenient.

Hôtel pas à la hauteur des ses prétentions! Nous avons été accueillis par un jeune homme chauve à la barbe fournie pas très aimable (pour ne dire avec un comportement discriminatoire). A notre grande surprise, alors que nous avions pré-payé l’intégralité du séjour, il nous a été demandé une caution de 150 euros , et cela sans faire aucun état des lieux avec signature des 2 parties, est-ce vraiment une pratique commerciale légale ? La raison était que nous étions suspecté d’être délinquants et pouvions dégrader la chambre. C’est la première fois que l’on est traité de la sorte dans un hôtel. Cette histoire de caution n’est mentionnée ni sur hôtels.com, ni sur le site internet de l’hôtel! De plus le site internet nous vante « Literie haut de gamme et ultra-confort, », j’ai très mal dormi pendant 2 nuits. Même si le matelas est confortable, on ne pas en dire du reste: oreillers pas du tout confortable, couette trop épaisse ( trop chaud dessous, trop froid sans) et draps même pas 100% coton! Et pour terminer quand nous sommes rentrés à l’hôtel le second jour, nous avons trouvé des détritus sur la moquette de la chambre ( cotons tiges utilisés le matin et mis dans la poubelle de SDB). Donc le ménage est apparemment fait à la va-vite. En conclusion, seul le petit déjeuner est à la hauteur de ce qui est vanté Si vous allez à Vannes, choisissez plutôt un autre hôtel!

A beautifully presented hotel. The room was immaculate, as was everywhere else in the hotel. Oodles of hot water in the well-appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff cannot be faulted and I'd like to pay a particular compliment to Arthur, on reception when we checked in, for his service which went above and beyond.

quand je suis arrivé à l'hotel, on m'a avisé que ma réservation avait été annulé par WebBeds (???). J'ai du refaire une réservation dans une chambre plus chère et payer a nouveau. Je comprend pas qui est WebBeds, et comment ils ont pu annuler ma reservation. Qui va me rembourser le payment, car j'a payé deux fois, une fois en faisant la réservation, et une autre à l'hotel. Je vais faire court : 4 étoiles ? Chambre mansardée pas d’eau chaude (ça arrive mais pas si longtemps et on prévient). À aucun moment au départ on ne vous demande si votre séjour s’est bien passé. Alors là vous savez !

A beautifully presented hotel. The room was immaculate, as was everywhere else in the hotel. Oodles of hot water in the well-appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff cannot be faulted and I'd like to pay a particular compliment to Arthur, on reception when we checked in, for his service which went above and beyond.

Très bien situé: près de la gare et près de la vieille ville et du port. Suggestion (chambre 503): mettre des crochets dans les chambres pour accrocher le manteau ou autres vetements. Ex. grand pan de mur quand on entre où on pourrait avoir ces crochets. Sous la télé il y aurait eu de la place pour une tablette qui aurait servi de bureau et permis de poser le portable. des cintres sont présents mais tellement bas sous un module d'appoint qu'on veut rien y mettre. Il y a place à optimiser le rangement dans les chambres pour pas cher. Tout le reste était vraiment très bien !

I loved my stay here for three nights. Street parking was convenient, and it's an easy walk to the walled city. They serve a very good breakfast and have a bar for a nightcap. I loved the lay out of the room. The people at reception were kind and helpful.

Hôtel pas à la hauteur des ses prétentions! Nous avons été accueillis par un jeune homme chauve à la barbe fournie pas très aimable (pour ne dire avec un comportement discriminatoire). A notre grande surprise, alors que nous avions pré-payé l’intégralité du séjour, il nous a été demandé une caution de 150 euros , et cela sans faire aucun état des lieux avec signature des 2 parties, est-ce vraiment une pratique commerciale légale ? La raison était que nous étions suspecté d’être délinquants et pouvions dégrader la chambre. C’est la première fois que l’on est traité de la sorte dans un hôtel. Cette histoire de caution n’est mentionnée ni sur hôtels.com, ni sur le site internet de l’hôtel! De plus le site internet nous vante « Literie haut de gamme et ultra-confort, », j’ai très mal dormi pendant 2 nuits. Même si le matelas est confortable, on ne pas en dire du reste: oreillers pas du tout confortable, couette trop épaisse ( trop chaud dessous, trop froid sans) et draps même pas 100% coton! Et pour terminer quand nous sommes rentrés à l’hôtel le second jour, nous avons trouvé des détritus sur la moquette de la chambre ( cotons tiges utilisés le matin et mis dans la poubelle de SDB). Donc le ménage est apparemment fait à la va-vite. En conclusion, seul le petit déjeuner est à la hauteur de ce qui est vanté Si vous allez à Vannes, choisissez plutôt un autre hôtel!

Joli établissement. Déco soignée. Qualité de la literie et du pdj. Charmante attention pour Noël. Pas eu le temps de tester le hammam mais je garde l idée pour une prochaine fois.

Check in was exceptional, really welcoming and helpful. We booked parking and were able to leave the car in the garage below, but just be aware if you have a large car the entrance is quite tight - reception staff guided me in and out and helped bring luggage in. There is public parking outside also. Reception is in a lounge/bar which also doubles as a breakfast room. It is a really pleasant place to sit and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is really well suited, its a 5 minute walk to the main shops and centre of town and to the medieval quarter and gardens by the city wall, maybe another 10 minutes gentle walk to the port area which was nice to walk round. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town centre. The Buffet Breakfast at the hotel was good, with a choice of continental and cooked options. The rooms were clean and bright and comfortable and the layout made the most of the space in our room. Despite overlooking the road and a small square outside, there was little noise. In the bathroom area there was a large sink and a fantastic walk-in shower which was spotless. Enjoyed the stay in a really nice property with great staff.
