Notre chambre n’était pas prête à notre arrivée. Nous devions avoir une chambre au 2e étage mais avons du se contenter d’une chambre au 1er sinon nous aurions attendus. Par contre, la chambre obtenue était très propre et confortable. Les chambres côté rue sont très bruyantes à cause du traffic. Somme toute pour 1 nuit l’hôtel est bien correct

Carpet outside room and elevator needed attention bites of paper in elevator door guide were dirty, causing door to slam closed. Road noise, the side we were in, major highway so at 4:00 am Jake brakes.

We stayed in this hotel 6 years ago, and it has certainly gone downhill since. Needs maintenance and a facelift. The room was not clean. Someone had smeared some red substance on the bathroom ceiling, the tub was dirty, the carpets were replete with food/drink spill stains that could easily be cleaned with a thorough carpet cleaning once or twice a year, and the entire room had a "sweaty teenager" smell, probably attributable to a dirty air filter in the HVAC unit. The bathroom sink had a plumbing issue and leaked onto the floor every time it was run. The trap was not connected properly, so the pipe joints were leaking in 2 separate places. This was not a trickle - it was soaking multiple towels and leaked heavily. This was a maintenance issue that had to have been previously noticed by cleaning staff or reported by guests. I reported it and was told that they are "just very busy with the football season, homecoming, college tours, etc." The pool room which was labeled "Pool and Spa" had a pool with cloudy, frigid water - where did the spa go? Can you heat the pool as it is October? Can you put some nice seating in there so families can enjoy the space? At least there were clean towels provided at the entrance. The road noise is crazy in the rooms facing King street. Breakfast was good, we appreciated that there were more hearty options (eggs, bacon, biscuits, etc.). The owner needs to maintain the dining area, the seats are all cracked and sagging.
