Customer service and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen in the room was very enjoyable and saved us some money versus going out for breakfast. Only complaint is that the entry door from the rear parking lot does not work properly and we had to walk around to the side to use our key card for entry.

The hotel had a couple issues when I checked in. The elevator was out during my entire 6 day stay. The gym was under renovation, so it could not be used. On the day of check out, housekeeping walked in on me and my guest as we came out of the shower, without knocking first. I asked maintenance to look at the bathroom fan that was very loud, but nothing was done.

First topic of conversation was additional fee of $5 to park. Then the elevator doesn’t work and of course we were on second floor. Stairway at the end of hall way and room in second floor back to middle of hallway. Signage at the registration desk was explaining if you want to check-in early there would be additional fee, if late check out an additional fee; I asked “since I’ll be checking out early, do I get a discount? Since elevators are not working, do I get a discount? Of course, the answers were no.

It’s a quiet and pleasant place,the attention of the reception staff as well as the cleaning is good.The smell of cigarettes and marihuana in the corridors at the entrances and exits of the building is too much.But overall it was a good experience.

When I first arrived, the suite was greatly worn; however, I was only staying one night while visiting family, so I felt the room would be tolerable---Wow...was I wrong! The ceiling in the bathroom was grossly peeling. I had noted urine on the bottom of the toilet; the bodywas dispenser didn't have a nozzle to use; the sign behind the main door looked like a dog had chewed it in half and it was still fastened to the door. That wasn't even the worst of it--that night , I woke to multiple bed bugs!!! I readily gathered my belongings and went to the front desk to inform them of the bed bugs and my intention to leave immediately.

This hotel or extended stay place is super duty, rooms are not what you expect . I stayed here for an event of my company and I couldn’t rest , bedroom linen are duty and smelly, first night I couldn’t sleep because of q dog barking next door , second night while I was sleeping and I got a rash on my left face side and on my left arm that I have to leave the hotel at 3:30 am . I’m almost sure that something bite me. Just to be clear I was sleeping on my left side . Not recommend

The hotel was not clean. The front office area was dirty and had a funny smell. The floor and carpet had visible dirt and grime. The lampshades were stained and ripped. When we got in the elevator, there was chewed gum stuck on the floor. Our room had ROACHES!! Crawling on the bathroom floor, on the kitchenette counter and under the sink in the kitchenette. We did not stay there, we immediately went to the front desk, requested a refund and left. We really appreciated the front desk person. They were very nice and helpful. They apologized about the roaches and helped us begin the process for a refund.

I booked this hotel, it said smoke free and pet friendly. Once I got there I wanted into the lobby which smelt strongly on cigarettes. Suffer all the extra fees it was over $350. I got to my room and it smelt like smoke and mold so I moved rooms which still smoke.

recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was welcoming, and the location was convenient. However, one concern I had was with the air conditioning unit in the room—it was quite old and made a lot of noise throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. I believe updating or servicing the AC would really improve the guest experience. Aside from that, the stay was enjoyable, and I appreciate the hospitality.

Building is definitely "unassuming" as it reminds me of a border school. Room was spacious and felt like a mini apartment. Needs updating though (tvs and overall room appeal). Feels more like an extended stay, and not always in a good way.

This stay was 2 weeks to stay until my husband’s last day at work in Charlotte. I figured we could stay here as long as we needed and though we still aren’t ready to move we decided to check out. It was not bearable any longer. It was not very comfortable. The refrigerator was noisy periodically throughout the day and night. The worse was the air conditioner unit. It’s an old system and it is super loud and inconsistent. The hallways were constantly filled with the stinking smell of weed. The elevator has a big jolt that occurs every time you ride it. It’s nerve wracking. We would not stay here again. This place needs a lot of work and upgrades. It has potential.

Booked the hotel because it was close to the PNC pavilion. When we arrived the staff was very pleasant. The room was quite spacious. After reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. However our room was clean, the kitchen was surprisingly stocked with paper towel, condiments as salt and pepper, even had the dishwasher or hand detergent (ur choice) which normally isn’t included. Overall it was located close to every place we needed to go. Definitely would book again!

The morning staff were very nice and helpful, the night staff were..something else. Nevertheless, the place was clean and well kept. We stayed in room 214 and everything was very clean except for the mold on the bathroom ceiling. It wasn't a big deal for us, as it seemed it was probably from the condensation from hot showers. It is an easy fix, so hopefully they clean that soon. The bed itself was a 10/10 for me, I thought it was VERY comfortable. So overall I would give this place an 7.5/10

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in two different rooms. In both rooms, the HVAC system was difficult to control and in one room it sounded like some sort of bird was trapped inside of it. Overall the rooms were adequate.

The staff was extremely polite and friendly, even when we arrived an hour before check in but couldn’t check in yet. The lady who had to tell us our rooms were not ready was so kind about it. It was a very fast check in and check out process. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 7 nights and requested house keeping twice and no one showed up to the room then I had to change bedding on my own. Property smells like smoke( the illegal smell ) staff is mostly unfriendly and don’t be surprised if you wake up to the noise of house keeping smacking their carts around

We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta simply suites. The staff were friendly and more than ready to help with anything we might need. Our room was comfortable but could have been a little cleaner. This property is well-maintained and very convenient to dining, shopping, and the Charlotte raceways.

We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta simply suites. The staff were friendly and more than ready to help with anything we might need. Our room was comfortable but could have been a little cleaner. This property is well-maintained and very convenient to dining, shopping, and the Charlotte raceways.

The property location was easy to access from the highway and then get to campus and the area that I needed to get to. The room was very spacious and provided all the amenities that I had not had recently at other hotels in the area, so this will be my go to now!

Stayed here while visiting my daughter at UNCC, which this is like 5 min away. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was large and comfy. They don’t have breakfast but with the kitchen, you can make your own. The elevator doesn’t sound too good, might need some service but I liked the place and I’d stay again.

Customer service and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen in the room was very enjoyable and saved us some money versus going out for breakfast. Only complaint is that the entry door from the rear parking lot does not work properly and we had to walk around to the side to use our key card for entry.

Booked the hotel because it was close to the PNC pavilion. When we arrived the staff was very pleasant. The room was quite spacious. After reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. However our room was clean, the kitchen was surprisingly stocked with paper towel, condiments as salt and pepper, even had the dishwasher or hand detergent (ur choice) which normally isn’t included. Overall it was located close to every place we needed to go. Definitely would book again!

Had to check out within 2 hours because we realized there was no hot water. Room had an odor and the coffee pot was filthy. Staff wasn’t helpful, as it seemed she was just trying to get back to the personal call she was on. And they wouldn’t issue a refund. I strongly recommend you don’t even consider this place. I wasted hours trying to get a refund.

Construction being completed for the Lobby, had to check in at the back of the hotel. It was not very easy to find. Dishwasher still running when we got to our room. Some ghetto people screaming and yelling the next morning before 7am. I realize the hotel has nothing to do with that but it was aggravating just the same.

We had a 2 night stay. Checked out early and stayed elsewhere. Room was dirty. Spills on the back of the bathroom door and down the side of the bed and there was mold/mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. Air conditioner sort of worked. Came back from dinner and there was a man passed out in a chair near the door. Staff at desk were nice. We didn't want another room or remedy and just decided to move to another hotel. Not sure how this place had so many 10/10 reviews. Wouldn't recommend.
