Highgarden

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was in a lovely location and was extremely well prepared and stocked. The hot tub was an awesome feature! (was actually the reason we chose this property). The perfect size house for several friends to stay (or even multiple families). Some suggestions: - the kitchen/dining/sunroom area was extremely cold and could benefit from curtains on all of the glass in this area. - - We struggled for fresh air as most of the windows on the front of the house wouldn't open. In particular, upstairs became extremely stuffy once we had the heat on. This is an important area, especially with the fireplace and no evident carbon monoxide detector. - The inclusion of suitable coffee pods would have been appreciated, or a clear note on the listing as to which are suitable to allow guests to bring their own. Neither of the 2 different styles of pods upon arrival would fit, and we purchased another style based on guess work and they didn't fit either. - Consider providing some plastic glasses for safe use in the hot tub - most guests would enjoy a beverage whilst out in the area.

Had a great weekend at Highgardens…..Lovely house with plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen, good heating.. Had a few problems keeping the fire alight but managed. 2 minor things I would mention Could do with a full length mirror in one of the downstairs bedrooms Instructions on using the oven(not stove top)..we couldn’t find them if they were there….. All in all very good……

Old style home but clean and comfortable - very enjoyable stay - quiet neighbourhood Just a few suggestions - need to put the coffee machine brand (Aldi) in the pre notes so that people can bring the right pods For the quality of the home - fitted sheets would normally be expected - overall great stay

Stayed with two families and place was big enough for everyone.

Lovely cosy property, very well stocked and comfortable. We had a bit of trouble keeping the fire going but the heating unit was very effective. Wonderful experience overall and the owner was very generous in giving us a late checkout as well which was great.
