Property was outstanding think we left in better condition than it was when we arrived. Place is in need of a new gas grill even though the one that’s there works it is filthy beyond the point of being cleaned, grease build up in the bottom of the grill is sickening. Property manager is great to work with always helpful and eager to please guest.

We had our own beach, we had beautiful views, and we had the natural sounds of waves and birds. I loved getting lobster to bring back to our own beach house and crack open on the deck with the gas fire pit overlookig the ocean. One of the days we took the kids to old orchard beach to the amusement park and ate dinner on the pier. Our trip was overall relaxing and magical.

Wonderful beach house with outstanding views and a casual warm atmosphere, plus was well-appointed and comfortable even for the winter season. With easy access to beach walks and local hiking areas,yet close to town, it has it all. A snow storm was handled by a great plow driver, and there was a shovel and ice melt provided for the edges. This home’s 2 story layout works well for both solo travelers and groups.

Good spot right on the water, worked well for our group, heat downstairs is only in the dining room so the other rooms can get cold, would be a great summer stay!

House was very nice and equipped with everything you need. Beautiful views and wonderful walks on the beach with our dog. Short ride to town and grocery stores and nice restaurants. Quiet location this time of year. Note house is on two levels and stairs were an issue for us older folks.

This house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation, and the view is spectacular. We had entertainment from surfers out front most days. Walking the beach and playing games on the expansive beach was great fun. The upstairs wet bar makes having an afternoon cocktail easy. The only downside is it is not so senior friendly. The stairs up and down were problematic at times. It was impossible for the senior members of our group to get to the beach because the walkway coming from the beach had no stairs or soft slope at all. It was too steep for shorter legs.The weather in Maine fluctuates a lot, so it would have been nice to have a way to block the rain from the deck or downstairs porch (a rollout sunshade perhaps. The wind kept blowing the gas grill light out, but we managed to cook out anyway. This house and its comfortable beds made it a wonderful trip for us. Tim came right away when we needed a battery for a remote. The house was well stocked with most everything we needed. We will return.

Location was everything...even when weather was not cooperating! Long walks on the beach and a good book were just what was needed for a nice relaxing week. I was impressed and grateful for the cleanliness of the house. Lovely location and home.

This is a fantastic house that I would highly recommend for several reasons. The view from the patio and the back room in the house might be the best view of the ocean in all of Biddeford Pool. The house is in immaculate condition and is well maintained by the owner. The beds in the house are all extremely comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of room plus the owner has provided everything you need for cooking and/or serving a meal. The owner is extremely nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying at the house in the near future.

Beautiful house in an incredible location. This was our second February vacation at Moonglow. So clean, comfortable and the view from the living room is unmatched. Will be back again!!

This place will be perfect after a good spring cleaning, a few repairs and replacement of broken furniture. We really enjoyed our stay, but felt the gorgeous beach house needs a little love. Thank you for a great vacation in Biddeford. We loved the deck and view!

Loved the location. The property is in need of repair front screen door missing rear screen door all torn and in need of replacement. Pots and pans lacking no useable fry pans. House overall needs a good deep cleaning. In spite of remarks we plan to rent again in 2026 and 2027. Property manager was great taking immediate action to correct any problems. Thanks Richard.

My sister & I took my mother & father (Nana & Papa) on a trip to this beautiful house in April 2024. The house location was breathtaking & the house was amazing. The only small issue we had was the wear on the TV room table, chairs (I was nervous to have my 84 year old parents sit in them the legs were not sturdy) & the upstairs shower head started spraying every where by the 3rd day prior to that the shower was heaven. I just think making these small changes would make for a safer stay but I do want to say if we booked again we would absolutely book here. The contact was so FAST to respond & we absolutely would rebook here. Thank you for making our week w/ our parents so special!

We enjoyed our stay. The view was absolutely amazing! We were able to experience the full hunter’s moon over the ocean. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook our own meals. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great experience!

Das Haus braucht DRINGEND eine Sanierung. Die Duschen sind eine Frechheit und die Größe der Badezimmer genauso. Die Couch erzählt Geschichten der letuten Jahrzehnte und die Betten sind durchgeritten. Am schlimmsten ist die Klimaanlage. Das Aussengerät lärmt so stark dasd praktisch kein Schlaf möglich ist. Zusammengefasst eine Katastrophe um viel Geld!!

We had another great stay at Moonglow! The house is great for a group and the location is perfect. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach but it’s also easy to get other places/activities like Portland and Freeport. We will definitely stay here again!

The home was very much as advertised. Nicely appointed with a traditional beach motif. The host was very responsive. The location is central to Portland and Kennebunkport. It also helped that we had great sunny and 70 weather. Walks on the beach everyday.

We’re hoping for a clean, comfortable, easy going trip to pick up our daughter from UNE and we got that at this property. Everything was perfect with the location, cleanliness, ease of check in and check out, the view was breathtaking, and a quick walk over sand dunes to gorgeous beach. We are hoping to rent this again, if it ever has availability.

Lovely property exactly as shown. Well-equipped kitchen. Extremely responsive property management. The hot water heater had a leak on new year's weekend--we called Melissa and maintenance and a plumber were there to replace the water heater within the hour! Highly recommend!

We were two couples look for a central location to visit Maine a d New Hampshire. We were not disappointed, house is right on the beach everything we needed plus more. Host responded quickly to all requests. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Four large bed rooms, great up stairs room where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the waves.

located right on the beach, we stayed for February vacation which was not exactly a beach day but the view from the 2nd floor living room was perfect. Close to town and easy to get to. Would recommend.

The home was very much as advertised. Nicely appointed with a traditional beach motif. The host was very responsive. The location is central to Portland and Kennebunkport. It also helped that we had great sunny and 70 weather. Walks on the beach everyday.

We loved being right on the beach and the big windows for the colder days so that we could still see the water. The house had everything we needed for a great stay and we would definitely want to return! The location was great for exploring.

Perfect location, right on the beach that makes logistics with a small family so much easier. Beautiful new coffee table in the living room 😉. On the last night we had an almost full moon and clear skies, from the balcony we could see the moon glowing on the water onto the horizon like a sliver road. Will go again,

We enjoyed our stay. The view was absolutely amazing! We were able to experience the full hunter’s moon over the ocean. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook our own meals. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great experience!

Property was outstanding think we left in better condition than it was when we arrived. Place is in need of a new gas grill even though the one that’s there works it is filthy beyond the point of being cleaned, grease build up in the bottom of the grill is sickening. Property manager is great to work with always helpful and eager to please guest.

We had our own beach, we had beautiful views, and we had the natural sounds of waves and birds. I loved getting lobster to bring back to our own beach house and crack open on the deck with the gas fire pit overlookig the ocean. One of the days we took the kids to old orchard beach to the amusement park and ate dinner on the pier. Our trip was overall relaxing and magical.

All was comfy and quiet for a great winter getaway with a friend. Beds were all comfy. It was great to get out to the beach and have a nice hike. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all the supplies for us. Very fun!

We had a great time staying at Moonglow! The view is beautiful. We spent so much time on the upper balcony. It's a close drive to Portland, ME & Portsmouth, NH. Plenty of great restaurants and breweries nearby. We had 6 adults and 2 children, and had plenty of space to make the place feel like home for the long weekend! Perfect summer getaway!

House was very nice and equipped with everything you need. Beautiful views and wonderful walks on the beach with our dog. Short ride to town and grocery stores and nice restaurants. Quiet location this time of year. Note house is on two levels and stairs were an issue for us older folks.

Loved the location. The property is in need of repair front screen door missing rear screen door all torn and in need of replacement. Pots and pans lacking no useable fry pans. House overall needs a good deep cleaning. In spite of remarks we plan to rent again in 2026 and 2027. Property manager was great taking immediate action to correct any problems. Thanks Richard.

The living room is comfortable, pleasant and light-filled. From the living room and deck the view is beautiful endless ocean. Right out front, walk onto the stunning beach. We were very comfortable here, cooking, sleeping to the sound of ocean waves, enjoying the view and the beach, and as a base for nearby attractions. Check in/out went smoothly.

The Moonglow was a perfect place for a costal Maine trip! We enjoyed waking up to the waves and watching the sunset each night. We cooked many meals and took many beach walks, and the house slept 8 comfortably! We had a small housekeeping issue upon arrival, but Richard and the housekeeper were very responsive and kind.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moonglow property. It felt very comfortable, and the view from the house was incredible! The beach was a beautiful place to walk, and the people in the area were friendly. We discovered some great restaurants nearby, including The Lost Fire (where our son treated us), Deli & Company, and The Garden Bar, all of which were among our favorites. It seemed there was more to discover in the old mills of Biddeford, but unfortunately, we ran out of time. We'd love to come back again at some point as it was great to explore a new area of Maine and also relax and unwind. Highly recommend!

The Moonglow is a terrific property. It is directly on a quiet and pristine beach. You are close enough to hear the waves even with all of the windows closed. The second floor has double sliding doors that open the entire level up to a large deck overlooking the ocean. The view is as good as it gets with the best sunrises you will ever see. The house is extremely clean and has everything you need for a great stay. This property is highly recommended.
