Le cadre et l’établissement sont agréables. Le service « Barrière » est là cependant la formation du personnel de salle est à perfectionner notamment pour le petit déjeuner. Il manque un chef de salle attentif. La machine à café à capsules est à remplacer par une machine à grain beaucoup plus simple et fiable. Dans les améliorations les ascenseurs qui sont très petits et du coup vite un problème aux heures de pointe… On reviendra tout de même avec plaisir.

Une petite remarque sur la consternante attitude de la cuisine qui me demande 10€ pour faire cuire le riz (que j’ai apporté) pour mon chien alors que nous avons pris une nuit supplémentaire, fait un soin, diner au restaurant, utilisé le room-service et payé 35€ / nuit pour le chien (ce qui pour ce point est normal) …. Mais 10€ pour de l’eau chaude Waouuu, affligeant, ridicule, peu commercial Heureusement tout le séjour était parfait !

Really nice hotel with very helpful staff and a second to none view from the hotel room. Due to the fact that the hotel is located a couple of km outside of the city center it was really nice that the hotel had a free shuttle bus driving between the hotel and the city center all day (and night), although the walk also was very nice.

Hôtel magnifique, piscine extérieure, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel attentif. Cependant pas de Clim dans les chambres je n’ai jamais vu ça dans un hôtel barrière à ce prix, et le spa est très moyen.

This property is amazing, first thing first it really nice, we arrived late night and trust me it’s worth it for the eyes. The staff on all level is awesome, super friendly and available for you, the rooms are big and have all the amenities you expect from those kind of hotels, easy parking, easy transportation to the center of Deauville and back to the hotel thanks to their shuttle that runs for a large part of the day and night, if you like golf there is a whole green as part of the hotel. The craziest part of it is that when I booked I thought it was a 5 stars hotel but he is actually just a 4 stars but with much much better service and quality that you could get in most 5 stars hotels. .The only inconvenience I could state would be maybe a bigger, more advanced gym but thats about it

We have lived here before but now it is getting very worn. No AC so the room gets very hot. Charges extreme overcharges, seems to be a thing of the past. Quite a few guests. Good but small gym, good pool and a good golf course. The food average, try down in the village instead.

Week end passé dans cet hôtel dans la suite deluxe 73 tout simplement excellent. Accueil à la réception jusqu’au concierge parfait. Quant aux cadeaux de bienvenus ils nous ont fort étonné. Le ménage mérite d’être un petit peu plus poussé (tâches sur la moquette et légère poussière). Le restaurant Le Lassay offre un très bon choix de produits et de vins très bon. Le petit déjeuner est également bien garni et le service y est méticuleux. Ayant pour habitude de séjourner au Barrière Normandy celui ci n’a rien à envier à son petit frère ! Très bon séjour nous reviendrons !!

Tout était tres bien. J'appréhendais le sejour apres avoir un unique commentaire au sujet de punaises de lit. J'ai tout inspecté, je n'ai pas vu de traces. De retour depuis une semaine il semble que tout ce soit bien passé également a ce niveau

The hotel itself is lovely with the horse and golf decor. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms have no AC, which was an issue on these very hot days. Housekeeping was inconsistent. When I checked in, the coffee station had dirty spoons and saucers. Over the next few days, only half of the coffee supplies were replenished, and the cups/spoons/saucers were never replaced, so I had to wash them in the bathroom. One day, when I had the DND on the door because I didn't require anything, there was an additional tag that said to come to the front desk. I went, and the receptionist looked at me like I was insane. Overall, the receptionist and main restaurant servers were quite chilly to us. The bartenders were wonderful. We had a very subpar dinner at the restaurant one night- very expensive, but not great food at all. The property is not really walkable to much so you are forced to taxi to the town or restaurants. Also, I had pre-paid my reservation, and my colleagues, and they still tried to double charge me when I checked out. When they processed the refund, the amount was less because of exchange rates, so I did end up paying more. We would not stay here again when we are back in the area.

L’hôtel est pas mal si vous avez une chambre supérieur / sinon moyen pour les autres chambres. Elles ont besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement. Le service est top et la vue également. Petit déjeuné correct mais pas incroyable.

Die Zimmer waren besonders in der Nacht sehr laut. Nachts wurden LKW vor dem Hotel entladen , ab 06.00 begann der Lärm mit der Golfplatzpflege.Keine Nachtruhe möglich!!

Superbe hôtel, la chambre (executive) est très agréable, confortable, spacieuse, et au combien précieux pour moi, il y a des volets roulants permettant d’avoir une chambre absolument obscure. Pour le fun, je précise que la baignoire est très large, on pourrait y tenir à deux dans la largeur, mais elle est 2 fois moins longue, de fait, on n’y tient pas allongé, dommage. Le hall de l’hôtel est très spacieux avec grande hauteur sous plafond, mais un peu triste, au point que la réception « derrière l’entrée » fait étriquée et pas très chaleureuse, heureusement que le personnel est très accueillant. Le restaurant est un peu décevant, mais cela s’explique peut-être, car nous étions en fin de service. Il a fallu que je me remémore ce que j’avais commandé pour identifier que la bouillie dans mon assiette était du risotto, qui somme toute était très bon. Le poisson, trop cuit, était très très sec, posé dans une assiette sans rien, cela faisait un peu triste. Cela reste un bon week-end.

Hôtel magnifique, piscine extérieure, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel attentif. Cependant pas de Clim dans les chambres je n’ai jamais vu ça dans un hôtel barrière à ce prix, et le spa est très moyen.

We have lived here before but now it is getting very worn. No AC so the room gets very hot. Charges extreme overcharges, seems to be a thing of the past. Quite a few guests. Good but small gym, good pool and a good golf course. The food average, try down in the village instead.

Lovely hotel. It’s very nice that they have a complimentary shuttle into town and a symbiotic relationship with their sister property in town, Le Normandy. Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star.

The hotel itself is lovely with the horse and golf decor. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms have no AC, which was an issue on these very hot days. Housekeeping was inconsistent. When I checked in, the coffee station had dirty spoons and saucers. Over the next few days, only half of the coffee supplies were replenished, and the cups/spoons/saucers were never replaced, so I had to wash them in the bathroom. One day, when I had the DND on the door because I didn't require anything, there was an additional tag that said to come to the front desk. I went, and the receptionist looked at me like I was insane. Overall, the receptionist and main restaurant servers were quite chilly to us. The bartenders were wonderful. We had a very subpar dinner at the restaurant one night- very expensive, but not great food at all. The property is not really walkable to much so you are forced to taxi to the town or restaurants. Also, I had pre-paid my reservation, and my colleagues, and they still tried to double charge me when I checked out. When they processed the refund, the amount was less because of exchange rates, so I did end up paying more. We would not stay here again when we are back in the area.

Really nice hotel with very helpful staff and a second to none view from the hotel room. Due to the fact that the hotel is located a couple of km outside of the city center it was really nice that the hotel had a free shuttle bus driving between the hotel and the city center all day (and night), although the walk also was very nice.

This property is amazing, first thing first it really nice, we arrived late night and trust me it’s worth it for the eyes. The staff on all level is awesome, super friendly and available for you, the rooms are big and have all the amenities you expect from those kind of hotels, easy parking, easy transportation to the center of Deauville and back to the hotel thanks to their shuttle that runs for a large part of the day and night, if you like golf there is a whole green as part of the hotel. The craziest part of it is that when I booked I thought it was a 5 stars hotel but he is actually just a 4 stars but with much much better service and quality that you could get in most 5 stars hotels. .The only inconvenience I could state would be maybe a bigger, more advanced gym but thats about it

Smukt luksuriøst hotel med den vildeste udsigt. Ligger noget isoleret, så det tager 45 minutter at gå til nærmeste alternative spisesteder. Masser af muligheder for mad og drikke på hotellet, men priserne på drikkevarer er useriøst høje - 16 EUR for en fadøl. Vores forventninger var super høje på forkant, for det var nogle virkeligt dyre overnatninger/værelser vi havde booket, men hotellet levede op til dem. Fantastisk personale.

Le cadre et l’établissement sont agréables. Le service « Barrière » est là cependant la formation du personnel de salle est à perfectionner notamment pour le petit déjeuner. Il manque un chef de salle attentif. La machine à café à capsules est à remplacer par une machine à grain beaucoup plus simple et fiable. Dans les améliorations les ascenseurs qui sont très petits et du coup vite un problème aux heures de pointe… On reviendra tout de même avec plaisir.

Très beau séjour à l’hôtel BARRIÈRE DU GOLF Superbe chambre, spa propre, bien équipé et personnel accueillant, Le restaurant, le room-service et le petit déjeuner sont excellents Le personnel est discret, agréable et professionnel dans l’ensemble de l’hôtel. Une petite remarque sur la consternante attitude de la cuisine qui me demande 10€ pour faire cuire le riz (que j’ai apporté) pour mon chien alors que nous avons pris une nuit supplémentaire, fait un soin, diner au restaurant, utilisé le room-service et payé 35€ / nuit pour le chien (ce qui pour ce point est normal) …. Mais 10€ pour de l’eau chaude Waouuu, affligeant, ridicule, peu commercial Heureusement tout le séjour était parfait !

At breakfast the lady cooking the eggs could not speak any English and had a bit of attitude when I tried explaining my order. My main complaint with the hotel is that it's extremely quiet at breakfast. No music, no noise, no vibe. It's just very quiet and it felt a bit awkward because you're afraid to talk above a whisper. Why not create a bit of atmosphere? It was not relaxing. Breakfast being 35 euros for the limited options felt expensive. The free shuttle into town was nice

Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards. Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf! Our room (#419) was very nice but we had to ask for a fan as it did become very warm when the window was closed. All in all an absolute treat to stay at this hotel and we hope to be able to return in the future.

J’ai trouvé qu’une partie du personnel manquait malheureusement de bienveillance et d’attention. Lors de mon arrivée, j’ai été accueilli par deux personnes extrêmement gentilles — une jeune femme à la réception ainsi qu’un monsieur plus âgé qui m’a même recommandé plusieurs restaurants avec beaucoup d’élégance et de courtoisie. Leur accueil a été irréprochable et mérite d’être souligné. Malheureusement, après cela, le niveau général du service m’a semblé assez impersonnel, voire parfois peu professionnel. À une occasion, un manager m’a littéralement laissé parler seul à la réception au milieu d’une conversation. Lors d’un autre moment, après avoir réglé ma consommation au bar et être venu saluer poliment le serveur avant de partir, celui-ci m’a répondu de manière assez brusque : « Vous avez déjà payé ? » Je tiens néanmoins à préciser que l’équipe du golf bar a toujours été particulièrement aimable et agréable. L’hôtel est globalement propre, mais il souffre clairement d’un manque de maintenance par endroits, ainsi que d’un besoin plus marqué de formation et d’attention portée à l’expérience client. Avec un accueil plus constant et une équipe davantage sensibilisée à l’hospitalité, l’expérience pourrait être nettement plus qualitative.
