O Histórico A. C. Carter House - River Romance no Tour Histórico de La Crosse!

This house was incredibly unique and full of character truly one of those places that feels memorable. It provided plenty of space for our family during our bi-state wrestling tournament trip, which made a big difference with busy schedules and everyone coming and going.The host was responsive, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Communication was easy and reassuring.One small note: the antique shower was charming but definitely had a bit of a learning curve once we figured it out, it was fine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated both the space and the personality of the home.

The interior of the home is beautiful. The exterior needs some work. The host was very helpful and accommodating. Would definately stay again

My friends and I get together once a year and look forward to a carefree, pleasant experience. The charming but dusty cluttered rooms created a less than desirable place to hang out. The kitchen has little room for guests to put their own things and food prep was nearly impossible. The bedrooms have almost no space for guests to set our their personal items. The host was quick to respond to issues of safety that came up but lack of cleanliness was the most upsetting.

The house was simply wonderful and Signe was a gem as a host. We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely! Classic china and silverware, old draperies and bedsteads and a beautiful little house in a quiet, homey neighborhood. It was lovely! Thanks so much!

The house was fine. Accommodations wete fine. But my desire to be plastic free, sustainable and to leave little footprint was stymied by plastics and electricity everywhere
