Super easy check-in, even when arriving late. Lots of free parking with wide spaces. Rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, some with walk in showers. It's a quiet spot to stay.

Easy and had what we needed which was somewhere comfortable to stay. Only downer was not having enough parks but motel itself was kapai.

Good location, close to all the stonefield shops. We had the 2 bedroom family room which was very spacious and was perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Added a Portacot for $25. Lots of parking and the property was quiet. during the day there’s some noise from the building going up next door but overall very happy

2nd time staying here. Really loved the 1st time i stayed. This time staying was ok. Just that the door was damaged. Like someone had tried to break in. Communicating when checking in was terrible. Having to phone communicate through a call. No greeting or a sense of kindness, tone of voice? Just was off. Parking wasnt enough. We had a cigarette burn on our bed sheets. Loved that we had a kitçhen and shower. All in all was good could have been AWESOME like our 1st stay but just a few minor hipcups. But the door was our main concern

I liked that i had the option to drive or take a short bus trip into Panmure shopping centre where there are some good eating options. Even though it is on a main highway we had no trouble getting in and out of the car park, although we timed it before and after peak hour traffic. The only complaint I have was there wasn`t enough coffee or sugar but, we didn`t ask either as we already had our own. We would totally stay there again as it was so clean.

Rooms were pretty big and clean. However in the kitchen there was some rubbish still inside the bin. Location was pretty good, although turning in and out of the motel was difficult as traffic was busy. Sign was hidden so nearly overshot. Overall, pretty good.

The property was easy to get to, ample parking for everyone. Staff member on check in was nice, check in was easy and upon arrival the room was in good order. Unfortunately there were a few issues. Firstly a previous occupant had broken a bed leg and once found it was easy enough to wedge into the right spot (wouldn't screw in though). Next , one of the curtains had been torn where the hook was meant to go, so it was difficult to close. Next, after the first night, none of the used towels were removed or replaced and the bin was not emptied, luckily we managed to catch a staff member before she went home to get a couple of clean towels. Checking out in the morning after the second night, the office was still closed and curtained at 10am, but a box was provided to drop off keys. Seemed like there was an issue with staffing unfortunately this weekend.

We have stayed 3 times now. We stay with 3 adults and 3 children. The two bedroom unit is spacious and having an oven is very helpful and the fridge is big (ie not a bar size) It's been very clean each time we have been. We will be back again.

Negative Review – Ellerslie Palms Motel At first glance the motel looks modest and tidy, but the experience quickly became unsettling. There was no reception or staff on site, just a phone number on the door. When I called, the phone was answered under a different name, which felt unprofessional and concerning. Even though my stay was prepaid, I was asked to provide my credit card over the phone, which felt insecure. I explained I was uncomfortable and stated I was recording the call for my own protection. I eventually received the access key, but the door looked as though the locks had been changed repeatedly. The room looked clean at first, but it clearly hadn’t been properly serviced. We found a Pringles tube behind the pillows, a bread clip under the bedside cabinet, and other missed items. The curtains had black mould and the window catches felt flimsy. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower had black and pink mould, and the plastic mat looked like it needed a long soak in bleach. It’s one of the few places where you can shower and feel dirtier afterwards. Next evening, a large group staying nearby was extremely loud past 11pm. I had to ask twice for quiet, and with no staff on site the issue wasn’t managed. To top it off, a large German cockroach appeared on the walls and ceiling during the night. Overall, the stay felt unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly managed. With no staff, an insecure check-in process, uncleanliness, noise issues, and pests, I cannot recommend.

My husband and I booked and paid for two nights when up for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert. We did not end up staying on the Friday night but did stay the Saturday night after the show. At 11.30pm Saturday night we were asleep and were woken by loud pounding on the door. As my husband got up to answer the door, the door started to open. It was the Manager of the establishment just checking to see if it was us in the room. When my husband confirmed it was us, she stated that we had not stayed the night before which my husband agreed to. After she left we were drifting off to sleep again and 15 minutes later the Manager rings my phone waking us up again. Just checking it\'s us again..... which she had done 15 minutes earlier. On Sunday I went down to discuss this on checkout but reception was shut with curtains drawn as it was when we checked in. Amazing there\'s no one on site to welcome and farewell guests but someone can be there to wake people up at 11.30pm! On Monday the following week I rang to discuss why this had occurred. The woman who answered the phone said it was the Manager who knocked and she would get her to call me back. Five days later I\'ve received no phone call, and believe the woman I spoke to on the phone several times IS the Manager because I heard her voice when she rudely woke us. Not stupid. Further, the room had a strong smell of "dirty feet", plus the bottom sheet on our bed was crumpled with hair on it. Appalling!

Unfortunately our stay here was disappointing. We weren't given a room with the bed configuration we had requested and had received on our confirmation. The light in the bathroom flickered the whole time and we were told it wouldn't be able to be fixed for a few days. We were placed by stairs which were noisy at night. Our room did not get serviced and we were there for two nights.

Confirmation email said check-in time was at 2PM, we show up at 1:15 and the reception was shut (despite the office hours stated to be 9AM-7PM). We got some lunch then came back at 2PM to find the reception was still shut. We decided to call the afterhours numbers hanging on the door. The first number kept ringing, no "sorry we are busy" messages, so we tried the second number, who told us to try the first again as "she was probably on another call". Eventually, we\'re told the key to our room is in a lock box. Inside are keys to every room, some had peoples full names on the envelopes. So, now I have names, room numbers, and a key to their room. Super safe! We get to our room and discover the room smelt horrible - ironic considering the sign stating we\'d be charged for cooking foods with "strong scents". The kettle had water in it and God knows how long it had been there. The milk in the fridge was probably new, but how do I trust it when its next to stagnate water? The plug sockets were located behind the beds, so to charge our phones the beds had to be pulled away from the wall all night. There was a bright light outside our room, with the thinnest curtains ever. Out of SEVEN devices, only TWO connected to the internet. It dropped so much or was so slow we ended up hotspotting over 5GB of my data instead. And finally, our room hadn\'t been cleaned. There was mold in the shower and numerous spiders (my friend has severe arachnophobia, so, thanks, that was fun).

The room we were given has been upgraded to a modern standard. Bathroom and bed were very good. The balcony leading to the room needs cleaning. The low rating was the entry door was mangled and there was no safety latches nor was there a deadbolt. The room door had a gap on the bottom allowing any bugs or other small animals to enter when closed.

Great place to stay. Big space with a separate room which was good for my friend. Location is a few minutes drive from takeaway outlets, supermarket and the Panmure train station where it's a 20 min train ride into the city.

The property was easy to get to, ample parking for everyone. Staff member on check in was nice, check in was easy and upon arrival the room was in good order. Unfortunately there were a few issues. Firstly a previous occupant had broken a bed leg and once found it was easy enough to wedge into the right spot (wouldn't screw in though). Next , one of the curtains had been torn where the hook was meant to go, so it was difficult to close. Next, after the first night, none of the used towels were removed or replaced and the bin was not emptied, luckily we managed to catch a staff member before she went home to get a couple of clean towels. Checking out in the morning after the second night, the office was still closed and curtained at 10am, but a box was provided to drop off keys. Seemed like there was an issue with staffing unfortunately this weekend.

Super easy check-in, even when arriving late. Lots of free parking with wide spaces. Rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, some with walk in showers. It's a quiet spot to stay.

Commination with the motel was non existant. I needed to arrange a late check in. The number provided was never answered, and only once gave an option to leave a message which was not acted on. I attempted to contact the property via the expedia app and again got no response. Luckily I had friends who were checking in during the day who got an email address for me to communicate with them to get the code to the lockbox. Another friend who was also checking in late had the same experience and would not have been able to get her key should i have not arrived with the code. The number at reception to phone for after hour access was not answered. I would not recommend this motel if you need to check in after hours. It was particularly stressful trying to organize an after hour check in

Stayed one night in a family unit to break up our journey south, beautiful accommodation and very clean and quiet. The host had the key ready and waiting for us, and fixed the tv in the unit when requested. Lovely to have a decent kitchen and big bathroom too. Room was very spacious. Only issue was the fan in the bathroom didn't go!

Negative Review – Ellerslie Palms Motel At first glance the motel looks modest and tidy, but the experience quickly became unsettling. There was no reception or staff on site, just a phone number on the door. When I called, the phone was answered under a different name, which felt unprofessional and concerning. Even though my stay was prepaid, I was asked to provide my credit card over the phone, which felt insecure. I explained I was uncomfortable and stated I was recording the call for my own protection. I eventually received the access key, but the door looked as though the locks had been changed repeatedly. The room looked clean at first, but it clearly hadn’t been properly serviced. We found a Pringles tube behind the pillows, a bread clip under the bedside cabinet, and other missed items. The curtains had black mould and the window catches felt flimsy. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower had black and pink mould, and the plastic mat looked like it needed a long soak in bleach. It’s one of the few places where you can shower and feel dirtier afterwards. Next evening, a large group staying nearby was extremely loud past 11pm. I had to ask twice for quiet, and with no staff on site the issue wasn’t managed. To top it off, a large German cockroach appeared on the walls and ceiling during the night. Overall, the stay felt unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly managed. With no staff, an insecure check-in process, uncleanliness, noise issues, and pests, I cannot recommend.

There was no staff. The room was ok, bed comfortable, clean bathroom. The curtains were terrible and with an outside light on all night it was annoying. I didnt like the fact they had a full page of rules cellotaped to the kitchen wall with one rule being do your dishes, dry and put them away otherwise you will be charged $30! who does that! If you intend on a late arrival make sure you call ahead and get the passcode for the lockbox where the keys are, as we could not raise a real person after 5pm I would not stay here again

We were advised check in closed at 3pm so used a key pad to get key. Disappointed that we were given a studio with twin beds, where I thought I had booked a 1 bedroom unit with king bed, may have been my mistake, but unable to change as no on site hosts (looked like 18-20 spare units). Room was not serviced so had to reuse the towels and buy milk. No ability to order breakfast as office closed, no info sheets in room showing restaurants etc. Was surprised how quiet the main road was. Accommodation was great, just needed hosts on site.

The check i9n was extremely slow and the man at reception had to call someone to get advice on what he needed to do. New owners are letting this place down. Took payment from my credit card before i had checked in. I personally don't like this unless i check in late. Room service is in the description but never was and wasn't advised it won't be. I hope it was a bad week rather than the new standard.

I liked that i had the option to drive or take a short bus trip into Panmure shopping centre where there are some good eating options. Even though it is on a main highway we had no trouble getting in and out of the car park, although we timed it before and after peak hour traffic. The only complaint I have was there wasn`t enough coffee or sugar but, we didn`t ask either as we already had our own. We would totally stay there again as it was so clean.

Rooms were pretty big and clean. However in the kitchen there was some rubbish still inside the bin. Location was pretty good, although turning in and out of the motel was difficult as traffic was busy. Sign was hidden so nearly overshot. Overall, pretty good.

The room itself was ok but some patches on the walls were damaged and not repaired. But the checking in was horrible! I had to ring this number, then I got someone on the phone that demanded I tell her my credit card number or I wouldn’t be getting access to a locked box which has my key in it. There were other people in the room yet I still had to give them my number. I explained that the payment had already been done but she said she needed my number to verify or guarantee the payment. Its the worst place i have ever stayed in. Payed for 4 nights left after 1 night. Would like a refund. Its so dirty and smells terrible.l have a lung condition ans could not breathe. Previous peoples rubbish still there plus no clean towels or kitchen cloths. Bedside lamp had no shade and a broken off prong on the plug. Kitchen chairs where fillfy dirty as where the bed covers. Cupboards musty. Toilet paper in the carpark and up the tree. No other roomso offered to clean . Noway could a clean get that smell out. No one at reception, have to ring a number to get the safe number to get your key. Just as well i had a friend with a phone. I left mine back in Australia.i could go on but i think you should have the idea.
Its the worst place i have ever stayed in. Payed for 4 nights left after 1 night. Would like a refund. Its so dirty and smells terrible.l have a lung condition ans could not breathe. Previous peoples rubbish still there plus no clean towels or kitchen cloths. Bedside lamp had no shade and a broken off prong on the plug. Kitchen chairs where fillfy dirty as where the bed covers. Cons: Severe Hygiene Issues: While the room looked clean on the surface, it was infested with fleas. After one night, me and my friend woke up with itchy bites and red bumps all over my body. This is a major health and safety concern. No On-site Staff: The front desk was completely unmanned. The service bell is useless as no one responds to it. Frustrating Check-in: You are forced to call a "remote" phone number provided on-site just to get your room key. It’s an unnecessarily complicated and cold process. Final Verdict: The convenience of the location does not justify the lack of basic hygiene and service.
