Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Reno - Sparks

Great check-in and service by Jared. Clean hotel. Newer hotel, well kept. Large rooms with vinyl flooring. Kitchen and full size refrigerator. We'll definitely stay there again. Definitely recommend it.

After dinner, The elevator wasn’t working so one of our party who is disabled had to take 15 minutes to climb the stairs.

The hotel is located near the Sparks Marina, which is close to many great places to eat. The parking is a bit of a challenge, but space was available. There is no drive-up out front for check-in. You have to find a parking spot first. Check-in is quick and easy. For the type of hotel it is, it was a new experience because Extended Stay America is different from other hotels in that they don’t go in and clean your room on a daily basis or when needed, only after you’ve checked out. But if you do need something for your room, it is provided anytime. The rooms themselves are exceptionally quiet. I did find it annoying that every time I would come back into the room after I know I turned the TV off, I would find it on each time. The WiFi works exceptionally well. The beds were a bit of a letdown as they were not soft and are a bit on the thinner side. This hotel was built a little over a year ago, so everything is quite new. There is no complete morning breakfast service, which was a letdown. However, there is always fresh coffee and a small selection of cold food items available. There is also no pool. The gym is small but clean, and also well maintained, but could benefit from an addition of free-weights (dumbbells). It could also use a water dispenser or a filtered water faucet to fill your water bottle. Overall a great choice to stay. Will return.

We were traveling across country and stopped here for a couple days. Our room was nice, clean and bed comfortable. They had laundry facilities that I used and were good. The thing we did not like was the breakfast area, 1 high top table with 4 chairs only. And 1 short long table with no chairs. She said we could sit outside put it was cold out. No hot breakfast just cold items. No lobby furniture to set in either .

Everything was great... except the elevator seemed to need some maintenance. Otherwise, two thumbs up for everything else.

Great pet friendly property.

The hotel room was amazing. There was a microwave, stovetop, and refrigerator all clean and up kept. The breakfast wasnt as great BUT considering you have a stovetop you should be able to cook yourself a good meal. The beds were comfortable only problem with them was the fact you could move them easily. All together a great stay.

It was a very comfortable stay. The room was nice but lacked mirrors. Parking was a nightmare, if you left the room after 5 pm you were out of luck finding a parking place especially if you were handicapped like us.

Pet friendly and close to park

Clean, bright and quiet. The only drawback was the weird, wonky elevator. If my knees could handle it, I would have used the stairs.

Room was clean and smelled clean. The hallways smelled strange and the elevator was very smelly like bad food. Staff was friendly.

This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, linens were clean, it was spotless. TV had a variety of channels, staff was friendly and other than a dog barking at the crack of dawn it was very quiet. Breakfast was less than desirable, but I would say all in all it deserves a 5 star rating.

The hotel had an overwhelming odor of air freshener when we arrived. Then when we entered the elevator the odor changed to a stench - urine? Fortunately the room did not have an offensive smell and seemed vlean. It did not have a hair dryer, the first place in 4.5 months of this summer's travels! The breakfast was "grab and go" - yogurt, coffee, sugary muffins - pretty sad. We won't be back.

Room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Filtered water and ice machine. The elevator and staircases smelled horrific. Like a mix of melted plastic and something else. That was our biggest issue - being there was nauseating. Complimentary breakfast is nothing special. Some oatmeal packets and sweetened yogurts and granola bars.

Best staff and super clean! I don’t understand why hotels don’t clean their floors but everything else was very clean. The lobby people and the maintenance team were so helpful and friendly. There’s a nice park near by.

Biggest dislike is the large gap under the room door.

This hotel is poorly constructed with no sound insulation between floors, and to the noisy street outside. I would only return if guaranteed a top 4th floor And an even number room that faces away from the main streets.

Did not like the traffic noise ouside the room by the stop sign. Many cars rev up engines as the accelerate past stop the signs.

We appreciated the freezer since we had ice packs, and the privacy screen between the 2 beds was a nice touch. I liked having the shower/toilet separate from the sink so we could both be dressing at the same time. Nice stay!

Very clean! Beds comfortable! Felt safe and was quiet

The property itself was nice, conveniently located, and in good condition. Only two complaints, first there was quite a lot of other peoples hair in the shower. More significantly, the hotel didn’t allow you to control the thermostat. It was set at 70 and you had no option to change it. I wouldn’t stay there again just based on that detail.

The facility is nice, but alot of loud cars reving loud all night. Its a busy intersection.

Worst bed ever. Super uncomfortable Super clean and great people. Just terrible bed.

The property is in excellent condition, the room was spotless,brand new and smelled good. Water pressure and temperature in shower was good. Towels were good. Surprise was a nice soft close toilet. However the bed was very uncomfortable for my wife and I. Way too hard, very cheap coil mattress and supposedly a queen was a full size. The desk attendant barely looked at me and didn't smile at all. Not rude, just indifferent and not warm. The free breakfast will disappoint if you expect more than cheap sugary yogurt, granola bars, packaged oatmeal, coffee and a couple small oranges. The worst part is the sketchy neighborhood and lowlifes hanging around the parking lot all day and the caliber of other guests. We were concerned our car would be broken into. It was a very depressing experience. The cost was comparable with other hotels. The online rating for this hotel was very high bc of the condition, but everything else was awful. We booked for 2 nights but left after one. I'd avoid it.

Clean & spacious rooms, friendly staff. They have ice and a water fill station in the lobby which was convenient. The only thing we didnt like is the ac/heater unit was controlled and we werent able to get it colder than 68 degrees in the room. Im pregnant, we had 2 dogs and are from PNW so we were sweating all night without any fresh cool air

They were unable to check us in when we arrived at 12:30 am… gave the reason of their nightly computer audit. Was told 15-20 minutes… after waiting beyond the window of time I decided to get a room at another property even though I had fully paid to stay here. I have stayed at many different hotels and have never had to wait for an internal computer audit, let alone over 30 minutes to check in for a room already paid for. I will not be selecting any of the extended stay properties in the future

Staff was great, and the room was excellent.

I had made reservations for a standard 2 queen bed room. When I checked in I was told that I would get a standard studio room with one queen bed because they had overbooked and they didn't have anymore rooms. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was no manager available Since I booked through Expedia I had to go to them for rate adjustment. Will not recommend this place

Really nice property. Great room layout and quite large. Full size fridge and all items needed in the room were available on requesy like plates, cutlery, toaster etc. Nice walking options around the lake to a very large shopping mall. Easy walk to fast food options adjacent. Staff were great. Rebecca the GM was fantastic to deal with and helped us out with a minor but frustrating account error that occured during check in. Overall loved our stay here, and it was made all the more pleasant by our interactions with Rebecca.

I reserved a room with king bed, but on check-in was informed that the king room had been given away to another guest. Two queen beds were offered instead. Not cool.

The front desk staff was great! Angela (red hair, night shift) in particular was very attentive and helpful. Would stay again

Staff efficient and friendly; excellent room, clean.

We checked out and realized my wife had left her orthopedic pillow in the room. We quickly called the front desk 10 minutes later and told them we are returning to get her pillow. By the time we got there, the maintenance staff had thrown it in the garbage...which my wife had to dig out herself. It might be nice if the staff sets things like this aside or calls the manager in case of lost and found items; they never bothered. If this is hotel policy, we won't be coming back.

Very close to the Sparks Marina. Walkable to a few restaurants. Very clean. Friendly staff. I do wish the gym had more equipment. There was also a lot of road noise from my room

Recommend this location as it was a quiet location close to a man made marina. Marina family friendly with playground swimming cafe walking path and more. Friendly staff. Another perk is the Legends Outlets and Scheels just a 3-min drive away.

It's near the Sparks lake and beachfront. Good for a stroll or walking a dog.

Love how the hotel is pet friendly. Also near a bunch of restaurants, fast food, banks, marina, shopping outlet, and Legends Casino.

It’s nice, clean and in a great location

The property is new and clean, quiet, friendly staff, and adjacent to the Sparks Marina where you can walk around the marina and stop at the coffee shop there as well. The marina allows for walking pets, has clean restrooms, and the coffee shop is adjacent to the marina. Great location, Sparks!

It was access to the Freeway. Close to everything too

The breakfast was definitely lacking in selection, no hot options.

Food options for breakfast is not enough

The rooms were very clean and comfortable but if you think your getting any type of breakfast think again. The breakfast had only coffee, no water or juice, small muffins and yogurt. No fruits or anything else. Don think I would stay there again unless I bring my own breakfast....

Everything is good, I would love a better breakfast option, they only have yogurt, muffins, coffee. Other hotels usually have a full breakfast bar. Other than that everything is good!

Very nice place. Breakfast is a bit lame. No milk or hot water for oatmeal.
