The house was located right in the centre of the village and is a great base for all the local hiking routes. It's a small village so has one Italian restaurant and 2-3 pubs that serve food and they get a bit crowded. The Horse and jockey do amazing BBQ ribs and a wonderful ox cheek lasagne. The food was excellent. The house has a lovely courtyard which we used on all the days we were there and most things are provided for you....even a welcome pack and a box of cakes. Which was a lovely gesture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The only thing to mention which might be a small niggle if you suffer with a bad back is the mattress on the double bed isn't very good. But that's the only thing.
