Casa Daimalos y piscina

The most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at, in a traditional mountain village with incredible views. The villa was clean, the pool area is perfect and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, can't thank them enough for their communication throughout and for letting us stay in their beautiful home. The villa is accessed on foot, up quite a steep hill and steps from the village square, where you park your car. This wasn't a problem for us at all, we enjoyed walking through the village, but just something to be aware of if you have mobility queries. We have fallen in love with this house and area and are already planning our next trip!

Diese Unterkunft am Rande eines ruhigen, weißen Dorfes in Andalusien ist ideal zum Abschalten und Erholen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Der Garten ist ein blühendes Paradies mit beeindruckendem Baumbestand, das man während des Urlaubs ganz für sich allein hat. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der schöne Pool mit Blick auf die umliegenden Hügel. Unser Sohn hatte dank des vorhandenen Wasserspielzeugs jede Menge Spaß damit. Obwohl wir unsere Gastgeber nie gesehen haben, hat Adam es mit seinen E-Mails geschafft, dass wir uns willkommen und gut informiert fühlten. Alles, was man zum Leben braucht, bekommt man im 2 km entfernten Arenas. Direkt von Daimalos aus kann man sich auf eine gut markierte 7 km lange Wanderung begeben, die herrliche Ausblicke bietet. Weitere abwechslungsreiche, ausgeschilderte Wanderwege findet man in den Nachbardörfern (Corumbela, Archez, Competa). Casa Daimalos ist ein herrlicher Ort zum Verweilen und um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden. Da sich die kurvenreiche Strecke nach Vélez-Málaga hinunter zieht, eignet es sich aber weniger aus Ausgangsbasis für Reisende, die häufig ans Meer fahren möchten oder mehrere große Touren (etwa nach Granada, zum Caminito del Rey o.ä.) planen.

I’ve been holidaying in this area for fifteen years and this probably one of the nicest houses I’ve stayed in. It’s a traditional large village house with nicely proportioned rooms, very clean and tidy, equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Great outside space, the garden is peaceful and private with mature plants and trees and a lovely swimming pool, I spent a relaxing ten here, I really didn’t want to leave. I wish I’d discovered this house earlier
