The night worker had his back turned to customers as they walked in. There is no elevator or luggage cart. The refrigerator in the room was small. Studio 6 facilities usually have a full size refrigerator, sink and hot plate/stove. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, working appliances--we stayed in a "suite" and it was very nice. Love the bright lights & security cameras on the property. Only complaints: the smell of weed if you leave your room at night--it was supposed to be no smoking in that wing, but I think it isn't always enforced late at night. Also the yapping dog in the room across the hall was pretty annoying at times. Other than that, decent room at a decent price.

Outside property area was not well kept and dirty. Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was clean and looked to have had some remodeling done. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was stained but had great water pressure. No amenities in the bathroom (no hair dyer, shampoo, conditioner or tissues). Bed and pillows were comfortable. Floor was clean and TV worked. We did not look on drawers. No iron, safe or full length mirror. It was quiet overnight. Breakfast is not available.

Clean & decent "Suite" room with comfy beds, fridge, & microwave. Staff is always pleasant & helpful. We have stayed several times & will stay again. The security cameras & super-bright lights in the parking lot are not a bad thing at all! Sadly, the area around the motel seems to have a lot of random people wandering around & there are sometimes random vehicles parked along the street leading to the motel--this feels rather unsafe after dark. This is an area with several motels/hotels, & I suspect many of the people we see are long-term residents.

We stayed in a studio, not a regular room. It was obviously recently renovated. It was freshly painted, & spotless. The furniture was in great shape. The beds were comfy, but the metal bedframes were a bit noisy when you sat down on them, but otherwise great. There was plenty of hot water, & the bathroom was in excellent condition. Big plus: plenty of towels in stock! Appliances were new & in excellent working condition. The parking lot was BRIGHTLY lit. They have numerous cameras in the hallways, parking lot, & common areas & have a huge display behind the front desk for monitoring. I commented on it while checking in, & they said they are trying to be careful with security & safety. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Front desk area and the room were both very clean. However, the facility has both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Ours was a non-smoking room, but boy you sure could smell both cigarette smoke and marijuana throughout the building. Also, be mindful that if your on the second floor, you’ll be walking up two flights of stairs in a indoor stairwell.

Motel 6 Suite We have stayed here a couple of times now. It is updated, clean & comfortable, with lots of hot water & towels. The folks are friendly & helpful. There are bright lights & security cameras in hallways & in the parking lot--they are attempting to make sure the property is safe, & we like that. We will stay again.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. The first was a much better experience. This trip things were very different. I cleaned the shower myself before using it, the counters had crumbs from the last guests and the floors hadn't been swept. The sheets were fresh or so would have left even though we paid ahead.

Our floor was filthy - walked about 1 hour barefoot and my feet were covered in black stuff. had to were slippers as soon as i got out of shower. tub needs a good scrubbing. stayed three night and had 2 rooms both room 106 and 109 had grimy floors. they ran out of cups and towels on Sat the 27th. we stayed thur, fri sat the 25th - 28th.

The room was filthy and the hallway reeked of a combination of cigarette smoke and freshener. Our socks became black from walking around room. Had to lay our a path of towels to walk on. Ugh.

a strong smell of bleach. The rooms had no chair to sit on. The floors were gritty. The towels was not to clean. The hosts not to happy. checkout no one was at the desk. A very strong smell of mold.

I understand the hotel is budget friendly, but the place was dirty and the smell of smoke in the common areas (cigarettes and weed) was beyond tolerable. It was graduation week, but never thought it was going to be in such a poor condition.

The motel wreaked of cigarette smoke. I was not aware that Studio 6 was formally Motel 6 when I booked 2 rooms for family weekend at Syracuse. The sheets had stains, we ran out of toilet paper and the pillows were terrible. The outside of the building had an overflowing trash can .

If you’re literally just looking for a bed in Syracuse, this is your place. I was on the second floor and had to carry my bag upstairs through a fire stairwell full of leaky trash bags. The television in my room did not work, the bathroom looked recently used and there was a stain on the bed sheets.

This hotel looked much better on paper that it turned out to be. Based on the photos, it supposedly had a table and two chairs at which one could eat plus a refrigerator and microwave. We didn't accept the first room offered because the heater/AC unit's cover had fallen off, and we could not sit at the table because the microwave was on it, and there was only one chair. The second room was better. It had only one chair, but a second one was brought upon our request. We subsequently discovered that the refrigerator did not work (the light came on, but it did not cool at all). The deadbolt lock on the door also did not work because the door was misaligned. The room was also quite dirty. The sheets looked dingy, and one of the chairs was so dirty that we could not clean it; we had to cover it before sitting on it. One good thing was the bathroom. It was clean, and everything worked. Oh, we were surprised that the room did not provide shampoo, conditioner, or tissues. Since all hotels we have stayed at recently provide such items, we did not bring them ourselves.

The room had a decent amount of space especially for the price. The bed was very comfortable. The location is right off the highway but tucked away enough that you didn't hear the traffic. The only improvement I would suggest is to add key card access doors to other parts of the building.

The tv was not working. Asked staff to come look at it. Said they didn’t know what was wrong with it and that’s all. Mentioned the next morning that the tv was not working in the room, no apology and never a mention of giving a discount. They should have done both.

It appears the hotel was recently renovated, and everything is clean and tidy. Bed was great, bathroom was clean. Plenty of hot water. Only issue - I was on the second floor and I could smell weed in the hallway the whole time I was here.

Cheap and clean stay for a weekend convention. Nothing fancy but kept the cost down and was close enough to the city to be convenient. The beds were comfy and clean and that’s really the most important thing for me.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Our fridge didn't work, but they have us another one. The area isn't walkable and not much around there. The tv was terrible. Only half the channels worked and all had static and poor picture. No outside seating area at all and that would have been nice. Also, there is a metal bar in the sidewalk outside front door making it very inconvenient to get bags in.

The first thing noticed was the fresh odor of marijauna in the lobby which also was quite strong on the main and upper floor. The marijuana smell was strong at night as well as in the morning. We were on second floor, which there is no elevator and we had to lug our luggage up the stairs. The first room was terrible, the washroom had not been cleaned so we were given another room and the T.V. did not work.

At 7 am I was upset because the front desk employee was rudely trying to get into my room with their key but I had the safety lock on. My son answered the door and employee insisted his name and my son told him then at 7:30 am he was banging at my door again. 8 am the cops came to our door. I gave her my conf# for the room and the cop wrote everything down. Only then, the rude awakening stopped. Displeased with the staff. I showed the cons table our confirmation number for the room

I had two rooms booked when I arrived they said I only had one room ready. The 2nd room had my grandsons name on it Brandon ouellette. They said I didn’t have a 2 nd room and charged me for a third room. I’m very upset with Expedia, this is the second year in a row this has happened. I will never use your services again..
I had two rooms booked when I arrived they said I only had one room ready. The 2nd room had my grandsons name on it Brandon ouellette. They said I didn’t have a 2 nd room and charged me for a third room. I’m very upset with Expedia, this is the second year in a row this has happened. I will never use your services again..

We stayed at the place for one night and check out was at 11AM, the housekeeper lady knocked and open the door on us while we were still sleeping at 9:39AM. The bathroom ceiling was dirty, the tables were dusty, I spent 30 minutes cleaning the room myself.

Horrible stay. Booked not knowing with was a Motel. Visiting my daughter for parent weekend in Syracuse. Unfortunately waited until last minute to book something and this was what was left. Key card didn't open door, had to go down to front dest several times with this issue. Bathroom toiled clocked, called front desk. There response was " come to front desk and we'll give you a plunger " I was literately laughing on the phone ... but again my fault waiting until last moment .. never again. couldn't sleep, noise up and down hallway. and not cheap, have stayed in a lot better places for a lot less .. be careful if booking in this Motel .. don't expect much.

Low price yes I guess for a 1 night stay before catching an early flight it is acceptable Only 2.5 miles from the airport in a straight line perhaps but it took 13 mins to drive at 430 am on a Sunday

It's a decent place for the money honestly. It's safe and amenities are in good enough condition. I would say that it would be the bare minimum to add bathroom slippers please. Also, there are no buses to get you around so be ready to invest in Uber rides. Otherwise, my stay went well and the staff is lovely!

The room had a decent amount of space especially for the price. The bed was very comfortable. The location is right off the highway but tucked away enough that you didn't hear the traffic. The only improvement I would suggest is to add key card access doors to other parts of the building.

Was led to believe there was an airport shuttle. Had to spend extra to get an Uber. Not in a convenient location for shopping etc. hard to find assistance. Slipped on wet floor- there were no cones or signs in the hall with a warning.

Cheap and clean stay for a weekend convention. Nothing fancy but kept the cost down and was close enough to the city to be convenient. The beds were comfy and clean and that’s really the most important thing for me.

I stop usually in this area in between my trip to the NE. This is a cheap hotel but the Studio in particular is new and very clean. Otherwise a typical room. Very quiet room, pet friendly (I did not have one but I saw people with), also the furtest from the highway in this hamlet of hotels, hence quiter. Great stay, in case I happen to repeat, I will stay again

Outside property area was not well kept and dirty. Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was clean and looked to have had some remodeling done. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was stained but had great water pressure. No amenities in the bathroom (no hair dyer, shampoo, conditioner or tissues). Bed and pillows were comfortable. Floor was clean and TV worked. We did not look on drawers. No iron, safe or full length mirror. It was quiet overnight. Breakfast is not available.

I suppose this is a case of you get what you pay for. I have stayed at motel 6 all across the country and i have never stayed at one like this. The area in front of the check in was disgusting, trash was overflowing. Garbage was all over the ground. I checked in with ease and it actually looked nice at first glance, and recently renovated. I went to go to my second floor room and my feet stuck to the stairs because it was so dirty. My lock on my room didnt work properly, so I ended up having to move. The rooms dont have coffee pots and they have folding chairs instead of office ones. You don't get shampoo, just bar soap which isnt a big deal, but nice to know ahead of time. There is no breakfast, only a small pot of coffee. The whole place smelled like weed and i have never stayed in a hotel that was so noisy. It wasn't that everyone was being noisy, you could just hear everything though the walls. Overall, it was an overwhelming feeling of meeting the standard and calling it a day.

Not totally negative, I guess, the bathroom sink was clogged but they did provide us with a plunger. The floor was oddly slippery with coating, electronic keys stopped working twice, we supposedly had a “Studio 6” room but nothing different we could identify, desk person could not explain any difference and said price was the same as regular motel 6. Definitely a never again choice

Motel 6 what more can you say. So this place basically met my expectations of a Motel 6. Unclean, hallways smell like cigarettes and weed, bathtub was grimey, they only have 1 hair dryer on property...etc. only needed a quick place to rest, this place shouldnt charge anymore than $40 a night. The property is getting pretty run down. We have stayed there a couple of times, and they haven't really done much to keep things up. For our room, things were installed totally backward. The door handle went up not down and the hot and cold water were switched in both the sink and the bathtub. For amenities, plenty of soap but nothing else and there wasn't even a rod to hold the toilet paper, it just sat on the back of the toilet. The lobby coffee was very good and both the fridge and microwave in the room were very clean.
