It was a 5 min walk from the crossing. Lots of options. During the hot days the pool helped keep us cool. It was a great place and the amenities were great. Definitely will be back.

Loved the rooftop pool — quite an experience swimming among the skyscrapers! Also, the pajamas were the most comfortable set we experienced across multiple hotels. If they hadn’t had a giant Hyatt logo on them, I would have bought a pair.

Amazing location in the heart of shibuya. Slightly located away from the main busy area of shibuya which was nice for noise and walking! Facility is very modern with a very nice gym. Rooms had washer/dryer, kitchen, and many other useful appliances/furniture! Felt right at home

Property is very nice. Pool was a decent size. Hot tub was extremely small and cold. Hours for pool made it unappealing only 8am to 8 pm.

Loved how clean, modern, quiet, spacious, and hotel offered a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, washer and dryer in the room along with a stove and other conveniences. The restaurant breakfast was delicious and offered an array of healthy breakfast fare! Location was great!

Well appointed. Super clean. We only wished the pool had longer hours. It didn’t open early enough to swim laps for a workout and it was always closed by the time we got back to the room after dinner.

Well, located for walking and shopping in Shibuya. Pretty decent, but not great breakfast buffet… But reasonably priced. Excellent staff. Pretty good fitness center with water dispenser. Construction in the city below makes it a little hard to get to via taxi or walking, but once you know what to do it's fine.

This hotel is a scam carrying the Hyatt brand name. The lift lobby is stingy with heavy smell of urine, the room doesn’t even have enough space to pop open both of our suitcase given its rate. Housekeeping comes in irregular and unexpected hour - they can knock our door one day at 11:00 am , then the other day HAS NOT finish housekeeping at 4PM - after so much heat outside and we’d try to get back to the room to take a break. When we sat in the lobby waiting for housekeeping by to be done, one of the staff was giving us a disgusted look as if we were some random intruders - and only greeted us until we pull our room key card out. Other than the above, they don’t clean the laundry machines - there were tissue, someone’s hair, candy paper and layer of filth left in the machine and I only found out after finish washing my clothes - very gross !!! The mattress were the MOST TERRIBLE - It is soft, and the softness is uneven. I got lower back pain from the first 3 days of sleep and wasn’t able to forward fold because of the back pain. I got even more tired after sleeping on that bed which was absolutely a nightmare. Also, just a side note, the room key looks fancy but it does not work every time when you tap for lift / room access. I can’t believe this hotel is charging me almost $3000 HKD a night with such terrible experience! This will be the first time and the last time I stay with Hyatt House! I ll never come back again!

Excelente hotel. Novo. Limpíssimo. Atendimento presto e muito cordial. Bem localizado (em Shibuya): perto do famoso cruzamento e ao lado da estação. Quarto com microondas, freezer, ferro e utensílios completos para cozinha. Pijama… Não há o que reclamar.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to Shibuya Station, but it’s surprisingly hard to find. Google Maps often led us on different routes, and even with directions from the hotel, it still took about double the time Google said it would to walk. If I remember correctly, you go through the pink Sakura building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor, go through a tunnel, and then turn to see the Hyatt House Shibuya sign pointing you in the right direction. The rooms are perfect for families, with a fully equipped kitchen and great functionality (100/100). However, our experience wasn’t entirely positive. When we first arrived, our room had a strong, unpleasant body odor. At first, we thought it might be coming from the hallway, but it was confined to our room. Even after spraying air freshener, the smell lingered. We reported the issue, and the hotel gave us an air purifier, but it didn’t help. We even tried leaving the oven fan on, but that didn’t improve the situation either. They offered to move us to another room, but since we were staying next to family members, we decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. On top of that, my sister found a toothpick next to her bed when she arrived.

The room was great. Washer dyer, really a lot of attention to detail. House cleaning never bothered you yet the room was always cleaned. They did a pretty good job with breakfast, but I wouldn’t say it was amazing. Very close to Shibuya station and like a 10 minute walk to the scramble, so close enough to get out to the train or surrounding area, but peaceful enough to take it easy and get back to home base when needed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt House. The staff was fluent in English and extremely helpful with everything throughout our stay. We were surprised that water was left for us each day. My daughters bought stuffed animals from Tokyo Disney Seas and the next day when we returned to the hotel, they found them sitting on the beds that had the sheets replaced - it was one of those cute things that you did not expect!’ The location was also perfect for dining, shopping and transportation. It was easy to get to other areas in Tokyo via subway or taxi. If we ever visit the area again, we will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Smooth and amazing, the room had so many accommodations the more we looked-- pajamas, slippers, tableware, laundry bags, detergent, kitchenette and microwave, etc., etc. The hotel staff also went above and beyond as I came down with a cold and wasn't feeling well. They helped us with locating cold medicines, clinics, helped us with hailing a taxis, pretty much anything you could think to ask they were extremely accommodating. I wasn't expecting jet lag to impact me so much on this trip and if it weren't for their services I wouldn't have recovered as well. Thank you very much!!

The associates Miyaco and Naoki were excellent, they help us a lot, they wrote messages and instructions for the taxi drivers in their language, Japanese, they gave us information about places to visit, they wrote introductions in English and Japanese to ride the subway and hoe to exit the train stations, wlich are huge and confusing to exit, it was a great service, they are great

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! From the time I walked in the door, until I checked out, it didn't disappoint. The service was A+, on the same level as the Ritz-Carlton. Beyond clean! Every amenity that you could possibly need, and the location was everything! When we visit Tokyo again, I will be staying at the Hyatt Tokyo.

I do not write reviews, but this hotel deserves one. Our week-long stay was phenomenal. Located in Shibuya, renowned for its shopping and vibrant atmosphere, the hotel offered a peaceful retreat just a four-minute walk from Shibuya Crossing. Despite its central location, it was quiet and relaxing, with the metro only three minutes away, providing easy citywide access. We booked two spacious, modern rooms for our family of five, equipped with a kitchen, microwave/toaster oven, and all essentials. The in-room washer/dryer combo were a bonus. Just loaded our laundry once and it was done when we got back. The staff was exceptional, from check-in to departure. During checkout, we needed two Ubers to our next hotel in the Disney area due to our luggage. Since the Hyatt is a new hotel, the Uber/taxi pickup location was hard to find. The first Uber driver arrived quickly and without issue, taking me and my daughter. The second driver couldn't find the location and asked my wife and kids to meet him elsewhere. With all the luggage, this was difficult for them to manage. My wife canceled the Uber and rebooked, only to get the same driver again. Suddenly, three Hyatt staff members came down to help my wife and kids walk the luggage to a different pickup area. I'm not sure how they knew they needed help, but their assistance was greatly appreciated. This hotel made our trip, and we will not stay anywhere else when we travel to Japan. Great hotel, great staff, great location.

The room was clean and functional. The hotel is understaffed. The 3 people who work there are kind and friendly but there was no room service (even though they have a restaurant). The staff referred me to Uber Eats and then I had to get my order myself in the lobby, because there is no staff.

Very helpful staff, close to Shibuya Station, wonderful room amenities. It was hard to find at first because it’s on the third floor of the Sakura Tower. The staff mentioned that they’re working on improving signage and directions.

Hyatt House is a really great hotel! Very clean and modern, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Tvs allow you to cast streaming services from your phone. The pool is small but nice. The location is perfect if you want to check out Shibuya scramble crossing, catching the metro, walking around Shibuya for shopping. Shibuya Stream is busy but tons of food and shopping options. The hotel and surrounding area is brand new and the area around it is still undergoing construction so itll be even nicer in the future. The only thing that needs to be fixed right now is the address for the hotel on google and all the travel sites. Taxis from the airport will go to the old location and then have a really hard time finding the place as its not identifiable from the street. Id advise getting the exact address from the hotel before you arrive so you arent giving the taxis the wrong location.

The hotel was fine, the staff was great, but navigating a three dimensional version of New York City was almost too much. Google and Apple Maps tried to be useful, but they never had our location just right and the recent construction can still be seen on the maps making it even more taxing.

We highly enjoyed our time at Hyatt House. We stayed at three other hotels throughout our trip and this one was the best! The rooms are clean and new. We had views of the park. The staff were great (such as Rie and Reina) and if they didn’t know something, they looked it up. The hotel restaurant had great views and a great breakfast buffet. It was so close to the famous Shibuya crossing, just about 10 minutes walking. The area was new, which had its own pros and cons. The pros were that the area was so quiet it felt like this was our own corner of Tokyo, and it felt safe, there is even a park nearby. There is a grocery and pharmacy in the next building over and you can get to them and other restaurants and the train station all without crossing the street but via the walkways on the second and third floors. The cons is that it is still up and coming and I’m sure this is just a brief period before more businesses come in. There are also some limited choices for restaurants in the immediate area, which again, I’m sure will change soon. It’s hard for taxis or Ubers to find the hotel but the hotel has a webpage specifically for helping them get you directly to the door. Given that we stayed for a whole week, the kitchenette, the microwave, the fridge, the stove, and the laundry in-unit all came in handy. Also, love that the hotel slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, etc were all complimentary. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Out of all the places, it was the most comfortable and HUGE for a Tokyo hotel. Great for families with a stove and all supplies. Amazing service. Breakfast could have been better, and the dryer took forever to dry clothes, it was lacking that department. Otherwise, it was centrally located for shopping and eating. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Nice place but awfully hard to locate, even by the locals. It’s new so that’s a plus. Decent room size with that special line item…a washer/dryer combo, which should remove a traveler from packing too much clothing (plus it’s Tokyo, so you can easily shop here). Odd location for the check in (15th floor). Friendly and efficient staff. Not much of a restaurant, so you will likely and should step out to explore and dine Tokyo. 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Lawsons and most importantly Tokyu Grocery Store are all nearby. This is not a luxury hotel nor is it Chic, but having that washer/dryer sure do make it worthwhile to stay here. Oh and by the way, we stay for 7 nights and washed our clothes 8 times! lol…

Well, located for walking and shopping in Shibuya. Pretty decent, but not great breakfast buffet… But reasonably priced. Excellent staff. Pretty good fitness center with water dispenser. Construction in the city below makes it a little hard to get to via taxi or walking, but once you know what to do it's fine.

The staff were amazing! I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool. The location is perfect. It’s so close the Shibuya Crossing and all the shops but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It’s excellent for families. It is a 5 minute walk from Shibuya station. The rooms are clean.
