During my solo road trip around Ireland, I decided to stay at Ballyseede Castle for a night since when else will I have an opportunity to spend an evening in a castle! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the room was so luxurious. The shower was divine, and the toiletries provided left my hair feeling like I'd just come from the salon. I had dinner in Pappy's Bar and ate one of the most delicious steak and ale pies I've ever had, just the perfect portion size! While the location is a little off the beaten path, it is well worth the trip!!!

During my solo road trip around Ireland, I decided to stay at Ballyseede Castle for a night since when else will I have an opportunity to spend an evening in a castle! We had a wonderful experience at Ballyseede Castle. The room and grounds were quiet and beautiful. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast there as well. There are miles of trails to explore as well. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area!

Had a fabulous stay at the Castle, very intimate and easy to navigate. Staff were lovely, we had a wedding there and it was fantastic, food was amazing.

The property is absolutely amazing. Joe and Molly the Irish Wolfhounds are AMAZING!! Charlie Cooper and Hope are super cute as well! The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone there was so kind and welcoming. 10 out of 10 recommend and we will definitely be returning there in the future!!

The castle was amazing! The horses and donkeys love to be fed special treats and the dogs were adorable. Sleeping in the original castle was a fairytale dream come true. The staff was friendly and the 5 course meal was delicious. I highly recommend Ballyseede to everyone!

Amazing castle and grounds. Very clean and accommodating! Delicious breakfast! The staf was not very knowledgeable about the castle or its rich history unfortunately. I googled most of the history. The main floor bar had limited hours and wasnt open suring oir stay. I wld still recommend Ballyseede Castle!

The rooms were spacious, clean, updated bathrooms. Breakfast was really good. The grounds and castle are beautiful. The kids loved the dogs! Tralee was a great town to explore.

This was a great choice! A little off the path but still close enough to Killarney, Ring of Kerry, etc. The food was great, highly recommend dinner and take advantage of the breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. Loved the property, (friendly pups!) well maintained, great amenities.

This was the best property! The room was gorgeous and the staff was amazing! If I came back to the area I would only stay here. It was worth every penny! Everyone should experience this place once. We had room 903 with the separate living area.

Loved the amazing decor and it truly felt like we were living in a castle for a day! Many historical pieces, beautiful rooms to relax in and explore, and we even played chess! One note- the upper floors are VERY stuffy and hot even on the cooler days, it would be nice to have a larger fan and/or something to help stay cool (the one in the room was very small)

Absolutely amazing! Romantic, magical, and well suited for a lovely getaway with friends or a partner. The grounds were lovely to walk after breakfast, and in the evening before bed. The restaurant was delicious and staff was above and beyond helpful and kind. The bedding and rooms were lovely and comfortable. I slept so well there! The friendly pups that made you feel at home, were the highlight of our trip and stay. We thank the caretakers and owners for their amazing attention to detail. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing stay! The staff are very attentive and the animals at the property add a very nice touch. You can tell that the owners truly care. We did have one issue, which was that we were served gluten by mistake, but the staff handled it very professionally. Overall, I would highly recommend and we will come back!

The hotel is beautiful. The reception staff made a mistake with my reservation and argued the point until I told her I had the printed reservation with me. She looked exasperated and suddenly there was no longer a problem. We had afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The service was incredibly slow. We were ignored for long periods of time. The food was well done and nicely prepared. The grounds are beautiful.

Amazing castle and grounds. Very clean and accommodating! Delicious breakfast! The staf was not very knowledgeable about the castle or its rich history unfortunately. I googled most of the history. The main floor bar had limited hours and wasnt open suring oir stay. I wld still recommend Ballyseede Castle!

During my solo road trip around Ireland, I decided to stay at Ballyseede Castle for a night since when else will I have an opportunity to spend an evening in a castle! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the room was so luxurious. The shower was divine, and the toiletries provided left my hair feeling like I'd just come from the salon. I had dinner in Pappy's Bar and ate one of the most delicious steak and ale pies I've ever had, just the perfect portion size! While the location is a little off the beaten path, it is well worth the trip!!!

This was a great choice! A little off the path but still close enough to Killarney, Ring of Kerry, etc. The food was great, highly recommend dinner and take advantage of the breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. Loved the property, (friendly pups!) well maintained, great amenities.

We had a wonderful stay here. The castle is beautiful inside and out. The restaurant is delicious and we enjoyed the 5 course dinner. The breakfast was equally delicious. I am so glad we stayed there

The hotel is beautiful. The reception staff made a mistake with my reservation and argued the point until I told her I had the printed reservation with me. She looked exasperated and suddenly there was no longer a problem. We had afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The service was incredibly slow. We were ignored for long periods of time. The food was well done and nicely prepared. The grounds are beautiful.

Wonderful castle property. The dogs were awesome. Staff was excellent, food was delicious and the breakfast was a highlight. Bravo to the cooks and breakfast staff. Beautiful property and grounds, we took a million pictures of property it was so lovely. Thank you

The room was amazing. Huge room with clawfoot tub and large walk in shower. No air conditioning so it was hot. They did provide a fan. It is a modernized castle. It would have been nice to see more castle details inside. Irish Wolfhounds were fun. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I had. Rachel, in reception, was amazing at providing Dingle recommendations.

I loved our experience at Ballyseede Castle. Our room (in the West Wing) was massive and very comfy, with a beautiful view of the impressive gardens. We loved having coffee in one of the drawing rooms, and the included breakfast in the dining room. So many wonderful sitting areas and nooks to explore, and absolutely beautiful grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend!

We came on a girls bithday trip. It was absolutely lovely. Being dog lovers it was was nice to see all the animals. It made it feel more relaxed. The grounds are beautiful.

Wonderful stay! Our son and family booked a family room that was huge! We also had a lovely 2 person room. The grandkids loved the Irish Wolfhounds that freely roam the property. The bar is exquisite; the dining room lovely (and delicious); the grounds beautiful and staff were wonderful! Highly recommend.
