Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort

Oppholdet var helt fantastisk!! For oss var maten litt for smaksløs og lite krydret. Skulle gjerne sett mere sauser til kjøtt, youghurter og smoothies. Tacoen var ikke god, så her har de en liten jobb å gjøre. Men alt i alt : anbefaler dette hotellet på det sterkeste! En av de beste feriene jeg og mannen min har hatt🙏

This was our first time at an all inclusive and this hotel really did not disappoint! Previous holidays we had always opted for self-catered as we were worried about the crowds and the quality of an all inclusive - but with two young kids we decided this was the year to just go for it! From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing - we were made to feel really welcome. Our room (an inland view family suite) wasn't huge but it was more than big enough for 2 adults and 2 young kids (including a toddler in a cot) and it was modern and spotlessly clean. Also, we really didn't spend much time in the room because the kids loved the pools so much! With a large pool, kids pool, baby pool and slides everyone was happy! The sun loungers were 'claimed' around the main pool pretty early every morning, but as we had a toddler we preferred to be further from the main pool anyway so for us this wasn't an issue. Also we couldn't believe how calm it was around the pool despite the number of people - there was an excellent atmosphere with everyone just having a really lovely time! Finally I need to mention the food - the choice and quality at the Samaria restaurant was outstanding! We all ate too much and even my very fussy daughter was well fed every day. We will be coming back next year!

Our experience at this hotel was really outstanding from the start. Not only did they let us check in early but they upgraded us to a suite that was double the size of our booked room. The staff we came across were always friendly and approachable, even when they seemed to be rushed off their feet. For such a huge operation the buffet food was lovely and the choices excellent. We also found the all inclusive drinks choices really good compared to many other hotels we've stayed at. The slides and pools provided loads of entertainment for the whole family. All in all this is a really outstanding resort, if only we could have stayed longer!

Very nice hotel. Clean, good food, great service from staff, (housekeeping, chefs, waiters, lifeguards , bartenders, facility people, receptionists, animation team) they were all amazing 👏

This hotel was special from the moment we arrived, 5 mins before the lunch buffet closed. We were invited to leave our luggage, enjoy the food and check in after. Once refreshed we were introduced to Katerina, a lovely Scottish lady who lives in Crete and has all the information you need to make the most of the hotel and this magical island. We were lucky to be given upgrades to ground floor suites (515 and 517) and they were superb, spacious and extra touches like towel animals and complimentary minibar made our stay (for a family wedding) very special indeed. The hotel is perfect for families and never felt crowded. There were plenty of sunbeds and its selection of pools kept all ages happy. We thought the food was very good for a hotel of this size, particularly breakfast and the lovely salad bar. The à la carte Greek restaurant is located on the waters edge and is excellent though we were less impresssd by the Asian restaurant. Chania is a beautiful Venetian town with a huge selection of restaurants and narrow streets to wander through. It’s a shame the hotel is just a little too far out to make frequent visits practical. The bus leaves from the stop outside the hotel (once an hour in our experience), takes 40 mins and costs €2.80 per adult each way. A taxi takes 20 mins and costs €30 each way or €50 for a larger minivan for our party of 4 adults and a baby. For a relaxing hotel-based family holiday this hotel is hard to beat, I’d love to return!
