The location and restaurant are excellent. You can not go wrong eating at the hotel. Parking is super easy and the staff is great. My only complain was the lack of air conditioning in the hotel.

Beautiful view of the ocean and lovely decor with lots of tables inside and outside with a view. Rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive!

Wow, wow, wow. We had a one night stay and stayed in the Ocean View Suite. It was magnificent. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. We ate dinner in the Ocean Restaurant which is fantastic. The food was excellent and well priced and the staff were fantastic. We had a verpy enjoyable few hours in Johnny Burkes pub where the craic was great. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, particularly the Plant It Omelette. We stay regularly in hotels around the world but The Armada is special and right up there was one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

We came when there was a wedding and that really changed the environment. No parking was available...tons of kids...very loud...loads of people at breakfast and no access to part of the hotel space at night.

We rented an ocean view room. Wonderful room. Great staff! Clean and quiet. Might recommend a new mattress in the room we stayed in. It was broken in so much to the point that there were permanent indentations were people had slept and a hump in the center.

Traumhafte Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, fantastisches Restaurant - das Beste auf unserer gesamten Reise! Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen auf sehr hohem Niveau! Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, daher recht hellhörig, aber dennoch mit viel Charme. Leider Punktabzug, da in der Region wohl öfter mal irgendwas beim Wasser abgestellt wird und es daher ab und zu „braun“ aus dem Hahn / Duschen kam. Ungünstig und super ärgerlich, wenn man medizinisch darauf angewiesen ist. Aber kann das Hotel theoretisch nichts dafür. Würden es dennoch weiterempfehlen!!

The location is absolutely stunning. The staff is incredibly friendly. Every meal we had there was absolutely a treat. The only knock I would say is that the carpeting throughout the hotel gives a very dated view. Our windows had also accumulated quite a bit of condensation, leading to a bit of mold along the edges.

The view from the hotel is stunning and sat out for a drink. Dinner in Ocean Bar was great. Room was very nice but very hot with only little window. Large busy hotel, lots of doors slamming theough the night so not a great night sleep

Rooms were hot, loud and there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom or by the beds. We had to unplug the light to charge phones and use the blow dryer. The doors were very loud when they shut and the mattress was terribly uncomfortable.

The Armada is an amazing hotel from start to finish. The check-in staff was lovely and very accommodating. The views of the ocean and beach are unmatched. It really is a magical spot. We stayed in the oceanside Suite and it was views to die for. It was appointed with cute little things like a record player, old-time records, and a spyglass to look at the cliffs. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was top-notch. Everything was tasty and the service was quick and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel, it is a highlight of our trip to Clare, Ireland

The service was first-class, and the staff at the reception and in the restaurant were not only professional but also very humorous and friendly. The food at the restaurant Airllween, where the seafood dishes were very testy, deserves a special mention. The hotel's location offers beautiful sunsets over the water from the meadow, making it a great place to be. All in all, a perfect stay!

A wonderful stay at The Armada. Staff are happy, helpful and enthusiastic. The restaurant is wonderful. Breakfast is a busy affair. Truly a great Irish breakfast walking the beach and relaxing on the lawn. Rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Amazing experience at the Armada Hotel. The property is located right along the coast with stunning views. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Dinner at Aileen’s was fantastic and the restaurant has a great view of the ocean. The included breakfast was also great. A lot of options and good food. We will definitely be returning!

Our stay at the Armada was absolutely amazing!! We had only planned to stay one night but booked a second night because we had such an awesome experience. We actually booked a suite for our second night which became our favorite memory of our 7 days in Ireland. Wonderful staff, awesome onsite bar and two restaurants a cute cafe right outside the building!! Food at the restaurants was dismal but drinks were great and everything else was stellar!!! Note: there is a lot to do from this location. Cliffs of mother (15 min), beach is walking distance and king John’s castle 1 hour. Easily two days here is a great choice!!

The location and restaurant are excellent. You can not go wrong eating at the hotel. Parking is super easy and the staff is great. My only complain was the lack of air conditioning in the hotel.

The stay at the Armada Hotel at Spanish Point was excellent. The service was first-class, and the staff at the reception and in the restaurant were not only professional but also very humorous and friendly. The food at the restaurant Airllween, where the seafood dishes were very testy, deserves a special mention. The hotel's location offers beautiful sunsets over the water from the meadow, making it a great place to be. All in all, a perfect stay!

A wonderful stay at The Armada. Staff are happy, helpful and enthusiastic. The restaurant is wonderful. Breakfast is a busy affair. Truly a great Irish breakfast walking the beach and relaxing on the lawn. Rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Wow, wow, wow. We had a one night stay and stayed in the Ocean View Suite. It was magnificent. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. We ate dinner in the Ocean Restaurant which is fantastic. The food was excellent and well priced and the staff were fantastic. We had a verpy enjoyable few hours in Johnny Burkes pub where the craic was great. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, particularly the Plant It Omelette. We stay regularly in hotels around the world but The Armada is special and right up there was one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

It is a lovely rural coastal setting on the West coast of Ireland. It's a quaint and homely hotel. The hotel is eco-friendly and minimises the use of plastic. They also have fantastic plant-based options for meals. Breakfast at Aileen's had stunning sea views and breakfast was excellent. Staff were polite but not very attentive. The manager found us a table and called the waiter to take our orders, but we found it difficult to get any further service from the waiters. Granted the hotel was busy but the waiters seemed to focus on their regular diners.

Hands down one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip!! Amazing property, amazing location and staff that went truly above and beyond for us!! We were treated like royalty as every guest was!! Can't say enough good things about this property. Sad, we were only here for 1 night!! Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to the Spanish Point area!!!

Wow wow wow this is a lovely hotel. The location, the vibe and staff are amazing. Three days staying at this hotel and didn’t want to leave. If you get a chance to stay please do. The rooms are spacious so beautifully designed. The bed was so comfortable. Love it’s so sustainable water stations on every floor and great that you get a little jug of milk instead of those horrible plastic sachets. The food is incredible especially breakfast. The Guinness good too in the pub. The view of the Atlantic Ocean would make your heart sing. It’s the ultimate venue for a wedding. I’m already booking up my next stay in a couple of months. Well done to the Armada Hotel team take a well deserved bow. Irish welcome at its finest.

Beautiful hotel in a superb location on the sea. Hotel overall was excellent and loved the extra perks provided. My only issue was related to the food in the restaurant which wasn't as good as I expected it to be

Staff are not friendly they just look at you don’t even know how to say good morning. So we moved to Dromoland castle every staff in Dromoland greet you and smile always ask if we need anything.
