Relaxing place to unwind. Lovely food, staff are helpful. Thermal suite is fab especially the outdoor hot tub! Will def return.

Sauna and steam room weren’t working after a power cut. I understand these things happen but it’s why we booked the stay. Outdoor hot tub area needs some tlc. No hand soap in the room. Breakfast v disappointing, see photo. Italian restaurant only ok, probably wouldn’t go back.

Lovely Wicklow getaway - peaceful grounds to walk around and an amazing spa. Extra bonus that it’s dog friendly!

Clean room although the air was heavy and a bit musty when we arrived. Staff are very helpful and super friendly. Thermal area is ok, small but has everything we would usually look for. The buildings and grounds are beautiful.

Great food at strawberry tree but breakfast is average at best, half the thermal suite closed, and the bed was two small for two people (small queen?)

Loved this property, real cosy, great for a romantic break, the use of the spa pool,sauna and steam room was a nice added bonus too

This was my third visit to Brooke Lodge in 14 mths . The weather and country side views were amazing.Situated in a beautiful quiet scenic area Brooke lodge complex is a dream.The wonderful spa staff were so kind and helpful and a real asset to the business.However the indoor jacuzzi was cordoned off and the temperature of the pool was a little on the cool side. The rooms and all area are spotless. I was a little disappointed this visit by a few things, The noise well before 6am from cleaners cleaning a bathroom adjacent to my room and continued for a long time was something I could have done without. Managed to get to sleep at 7.30am to be awoken at 9.20am by cleaner loudly banging to clean my room even though I was checking out. Do not disturbed sign was on door. Went over to breakfast in Brooke Lodge and the full Irish was awful. Bacon so hard I couldn’t put my fork through it. Poor variety on plate and tasteless. Poor selection of cheese also . Plates and bowls not replenished as they were cleared by guests. Bread was nice as was the fruit juices.

Lovely, quiet room at Brookhall. Geothermal pool was perfect for relaxing. Friendly staff. Great food and drinks.

Im not sure where to start really, I suppose at check in. The path leading up to the entrance is loose stones, you cant wheel your suitcase which meant physically lifting it up. This would not be ideal for older folks and those with physical impairments. The room itself was fine and clean but the bed wasnt very comfortable and the TV was so low down that I couldnt see past my own feet! The spa, 5 star for that, beautiful spa and treatments, perfect to unwind. The big let down for me...was the food! We were there for 2 nights. Breakfast is fairly bad...salmon and wildfish for breakfast? The full irish option was the smallest full irish ive ever seen. Pancakes were small and thick. Strawberry tree restaurant, I know its all organic but...40 euro for a main course? I can justify that if the food was really nice, the beef was very fatty, more fat than beef, you would get better beef for 6 quid in Tesco and my potato dumplings consisted of 4 dumplings!! No spuds or chips of any description served here. The Italian restaurant was better but by no means amazing, the beef was fantastic but that was my 1st time in an Italian restaurant that didnt have spaghetti bolognese on the menu. Both restaurants were very fancy, nothing ordinary on the menu. Same for the residents bar, no burger/chips/mash, any kinda general meals. Im not sure how this would suit kids (luckily ours were not with us), there was honestly not 1 meal an average kid would eat, bar pizza in the Italian.

Had a lovely room with walk out balcony. Balcony was not safe , rotten boards that should be demolished! Room wasvery hot on what wasnt a over warm day but we had air conditioning, shame it didn't work ! Maid told us it wasn't working, had a fan sent up which just pushed hot air around the room & if balcony doors open we had gnats/moths flying in room. Definitely not worth the money

Room too small. Furniture dominated, no room for 2 large suitcases. Lack of information booklet eg spa, meals etc Shower leaked, window not opening properly etc reported first night but not fixed as suggested. More maintenance needed eg wooden decking outside in need of repair. Food and serving staff excellent.

Your food options were amenable to various budgets and staff/service very good. The bedrooms seem to be very tired. Furniture damaged and painted over. Settee really rough in texture. Drainage bad in bathroom ( both sink and shower) Dust very visible. Tea/coffee amenities very basic. Bed was very comfortable but staining on pillows which looked like mould ?. You're staff are your shining stars especially breakfast supervisor Lianne (apologies if spelt wrong).She has a lovely welcome for all.

The best thing about this property was the staff! We had an issue with the beds and sheets. The staff came at 11pm at night and changed the mattress pad and sheets as there was someone else’s hair all over the bed.

Good stay. Nice food. Room was clean but fairly basic for the price (but I was staying on a bank holiday). Overall it was a nice stay though.

Lovely hotel however it needs to decide what kind of hotel it is and then invest money into it. Hard to know if it is a wellbeing/family/couple etc hotel as there facilities do not match up. As it is quite remote there should be more available onsite cosidering it is a small village. They also need to get all the room doors to be soft closing which is as easy fix as the doors slam quite loud and woke me several times. With all the land around the hotel they can develop it considerably. Ive stayed in many hotels in Ireland and to me this hotel is mainly a wedding venue. The staff need to know about the hotel too as i got told different things from different staff. If they had more onsite in general and decided what clientell they are focusing on this venue could be much better.

Room was ok, although TV and WiFi reception was poor, and shower was not great, although had nice view of river. Check in was fast, albeit a little cold, and unfortunately had to walk to another building in the dark in heavy rain with no shelter which made it a bit of a stressful and unformtable arrival.

Rymligt rum och tyst. Litet badrum. Något slitet, både rummet och övrig miljö. Gott om plats att parkera. Fick inget bord på hotellets italienska restaurang. Puben på boendet var charmigt men serverade ingen mat på måndagar. Frukosten var medelmåttig. Trevligt med hönor som gick på området.

The hotel is in a peaceful and pleasant country setting with neat gardens, a tidy organic farm, and a stream flowing past the property. There is a small chapel across the stream. Overall, the setting is very nice. The room we were allocated was a bit disappointing (for the price charged) as the decor was a little tired and in need of freshening-up. (I understand some rooms in other parts of the hotel had been recently refurbished). Breakfast: the servers were very pleasant and helpful. However, the breakfast was a little disappointing. For example, no choice of breads for toast (although bread was added to the buffet table as we were leaving the breakfast room), only marmalade or strawberry jam was available. We were a little unfortunate being at the hotel at the same time as a large party (perhaps a wedding party), and at times in the late evening it was a bit noisy. That's not really something the hotel has complete control over, and a consequence of visiting hotels.

Two things stood out: 1. Being given keys to someone else’s room on check in (and entering their room). 2. Eating at their Italian restaurant and being given a refund on 4 of our meals as they were rubbish. In short…don’t stay here.

What a gorgeous spot! Beautiful hotel, amazing food and service in the Italian restaurant. Pool is fantastic. Staff however let it down. Reception staff assume you know where everything is, no info was offered I had to ask for times/ locations for dinner and breakfast. Staff at breakfast - especially inattentive.

Brooklodge was just as advertised. We had a lovely room overlooking the grounds. Other than the front desk staff who were a bit put off, the reminder of the staff was friendly and attentive. We ended up eating both nights at the Italian restaurant and had some of the best pizza ever. This was our first stop in Ireland and was a perfect start to our 3 week holiday in Ireland.

Fabulous night away and they left lovely touches for my mums birthday including a card and a birthday dessert at dinner

Having stayed in BrookLodge many times every time it’s memorable. Staff went out of their way to kindly help my partner who has complex dietary requirements. With great affection and dedication. My favourite hotel.

We absolutely loved the fine dining restaurant - we found the food and service in the restaurant to be incredible - and we loved the grounds and peaceful location. The spa and our treatments were wonderful, with a very experienced therapist. However the hotel wasn’t great at communication - we didn’t know there was a separate pool until we saw a picture of it after we’d left and the hotel weren’t able to serve us breakfast on our second day because the timings changed and this hadn’t been mentioned. However the staff did reaccommodate us very efficiently when there was a plumbing issue with our original room.

One of the best trips we've ever been on. The food was impeccable, the service was outstanding, and we were made to feel so relaxed and like nothing was any bother. A truly luxurious experience with so many eateries to choose from - all serving brilliant food at fair prices for the excellent quality. We're already planning our trip back!

Great location, very picturesque with plenty of outdoor pursuits available in the surrounding area. Hotel itself is very comfortable and cosy and the staff are very friendly. I was staying for business but with the spa facilities and the golf it would be perfect weekend break for couples etc.

Stunning hotel and surrounding area, perfect for a relaxing get away. Spa was beautiful and would highly recommend getting a treatment. The staff in the hotel couldn't of been any nicer to us, I will definitely be returning sometime in the near future and will be recommending to all friends and family

The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. The bad part was the Italian restaurant, the only restaurant available at that Tuesday.

Frühstück und Service waren top. Das Zimmer ganz ok, die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem das Badezimmer. Was überhaupt nicht geht ist die Essenssituation. Nur die Taverne war geöffnet und wir hatten und wollten auch vorab nicht reservieren. Wir fragten gegen 18 Uhr im Pub, ob man auch dort etwas zu essen bekommen könnte. Dies wurde klar und deutlich verneint. Taverne war noch geschlossen. Also fuhren wir in den nächsten Ort, der auch nur einen TakeAway hatte. Dort versorgten wir uns mit einer Pizza , die wir dann später auf unserem Zimmer aßen. Als wir später auf ein Bierchen in den Pub kamen, mussten wir feststellen, dass mindestens 12 Personen dort eine Pizza aßen! Dankeschön dafür!

Late breakfast and check out was great. The limited dining choices in the evening weren’t great. Ate in the Italian restaurant on site. Two of our meals had to be sent back and re cooked. Would have preferred to eat from the lounge menu but last orders are at 5.30pm. Staff were very helpful and friendly
