Beautiful hotel, large room with big bathroom. Seating area by a bay window in the room with a view of the grounds and water. Breakfast options were plentiful. Gym was well equipped and all staff were friendly and professional.

The hotel is really a full services resort with an indoor heated pool, excellent exercise facilities, very good food, within walking distance of everything to do in Dingle and accessible to the loop around the Dingle peninsula. The views of the Dingle Harbor are lovely. Breakfast was great with a very attentive staff. Getting there from Kinsale was harrowing- the roads are very narrow, multiple large buses were coming from the opposite direction and it was raining hard.

Please advertise that there is only one guest washer and one guest dryer for the entire facility. This was problematic and we would have made a different plan had we known.

The hotel is just an easy few blocks walk from town. The real attraction here, that I missed until breakfast, is the incredible view from the dining room. The room had a coffee pod machine and there were water refill stations at the end of the hall. Staff was great and attentive. The bad: There is no air conditioning in the guest rooms (not needed while we were there), but especially with allergies, I’d prefer not to rely on open windows to keep things comfortable. They do have radiant heat that cycles on at night and we had some difficulty not getting too hot at night. It’s been a while since the hotel’s last remodel and while the property is clean. The rust in the tub was unattractive. I was disappointing that there were no USB chargers in the room. While most outlets were the standard 3 flat prongs, the bedside outlets had the older round prongs, so my adapters were of use. Another nit, I’m an early riser and the bathroom light switch isn’t the one closest to the bathroom door (it was the middle switch between two other switches) Fumbling around the dark, it was difficult to turn on the bathroom light without hitting the wrong switch and waking my wife. All-in-all a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

You spend too dollar for mediocre service here. This hotel chain is worried about getting you checked in. Room was decent (had a business room). Coffee maker wouldn’t work correctly. The shampoo and wash in the shower was broken. And the hair of probably the last five travelers was present on our pillows. Save your money and go a few miles down the road to Ceann. Proper service, friendly, accommodating, and very welcoming to tourist!

The property is very nice with beautiful views and our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner and the areas on the main floor were great for relaxing. And we were able to walk into town easily.

I think it was over priced. My shower didn’t drain so I had to stand in water the whole time and it wasn’t very clean. Room was very warm but there was a fan. When I ordered some room service the receptionist tried to challenge me to come down for my order instead of bringing it to me. I expected more for the price.

The Dingle Skellig Hotel is really quite wonderful. The rooms are neat and clean. The bar area with a fireplace was a nice cozy place to relax with a drink after a day of sightseeing and shopping. The breakfast buffet was really great - lots of great options plus you can order from the menu. We also loved the ability to fill up our water bottles with spring water.

This hotel was a lovely find. It had everything we needed for our night in Dingle. We were in the newer area of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful when I forgot something in the room. They made sure to keep it safely aside for me. Very appreciated.

Probably the friendliest hotel in Europe. Location is second to none with spectacular views over Dingle Bay. The rooms are very spacious with all the amenities you'd need. The beds are very comfortable and house keeping is excellent The breakfast is delicious with friendly and efficient waiting staff. Fabulous hotel!

Location wise the Skellig Hotel is a short walk to the town of Dingle whilst it has fantastic sea views especially from the dining / breakfast room. We booked a Junior Suite, however once checked in we were surprised at the size of the room and had to double check our booking. Room was fine, clean, bathroom spacious. However it was a king size bed yes, but not a suite. A “double room” size with a kind bed would be an accurate description. For the price point of the room we felt it was poor value. No water in the room and no biscuits to have with the coffee / tea that was provided. The tv was quite small and only had the free to air channels. Lastly the temperature of the room was incredibly warm, we left our windows open all day and all night and that helped however for a stay over in December with the wild weather it wasn’t an ideal resolution. Whilst this review may seem like it’s picking on small things, when you pay €420 for a junior suite you do have a certain expectation of the accommodation and comfort level you have paid to receive.

There are five star reviews, and two star…and I get both after staying here. The property is kind of creepy, honestly…we stayed in the “newer /renovated” rooms…but getting there meant going down corridors that seemed to go on forever. The “superior / king bed” room was small and each of us got lost Multiple Times going to or from the car to retrieve thing(s). Had spa services which were fine, not exceptional, the “relaxation room” was loungers in a sun room looking at the ocean. Overall, I wish the property would be updated. You can walk to town and enjoy Dingle, about 10 minutes away.

Great location and view. We were in the newer part of the hotel. We did have air conditioning, no wash cloths. Bed was 7.5/10 a little harder than I prefer. Easy walk to the shops. I would recommend.

The staff was very friendly and we had a nice spacious room. We did not like the room temperature is controlled centrally and not in the individual rooms. Thankfully, we were able to open the windows to cool the room down.

This hotel was a lovely find. It had everything we needed for our night in Dingle. We were in the newer area of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful when I forgot something in the room. They made sure to keep it safely aside for me. Very appreciated.

The facility is very tired, especially the fitness center. Some of the staff are absolutely spectacular while others seem not to know the basics of hospitality. As an example of the latter, when it was time for us to check out, we were given a bill for a spa treatment that we have been told would cost €55. When the hotel charged us €65, I asked for an explanation. We even called the spa to get clarification on the person who answered the phone said that the cost was €55, but she said she would check to make sure and came back and said it was €65. The fact that she originally told us it was 55 was consistent with what we had been told when we booked the treatment. The person at the front desk should’ve said, “of course we will honor the price that you were given,” but instead she said, “ I’ll make a note of it.” She even repeated herself, as if somehow that was good for me. Ridiculous.

Check in was clunky….. I think the staff were either new or poorly trained…. Considering the price I paid (double the normal average ) I would have expected a more professional check in.

The hotel is just an easy few blocks walk from town. The real attraction here, that I missed until breakfast, is the incredible view from the dining room. The room had a coffee pod machine and there were water refill stations at the end of the hall. Staff was great and attentive. The bad: There is no air conditioning in the guest rooms (not needed while we were there), but especially with allergies, I’d prefer not to rely on open windows to keep things comfortable. They do have radiant heat that cycles on at night and we had some difficulty not getting too hot at night. It’s been a while since the hotel’s last remodel and while the property is clean. The rust in the tub was unattractive. I was disappointing that there were no USB chargers in the room. While most outlets were the standard 3 flat prongs, the bedside outlets had the older round prongs, so my adapters were of use. Another nit, I’m an early riser and the bathroom light switch isn’t the one closest to the bathroom door (it was the middle switch between two other switches) Fumbling around the dark, it was difficult to turn on the bathroom light without hitting the wrong switch and waking my wife. All-in-all a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

The property is very nice with beautiful views and our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner and the areas on the main floor were great for relaxing. And we were able to walk into town easily.

Beautiful hotel, large room with big bathroom. Seating area by a bay window in the room with a view of the grounds and water. Breakfast options were plentiful. Gym was well equipped and all staff were friendly and professional.

We stayed for one night on the 6th May 2024. We had a fantastic stay! The hotel was in walking distance to the town. A 2 minute walk to the water and breath taking views. We are in the bar and the food was great! The Team and the service was spot on. Highly recommend!

The Dingle Skellig Hotel is really quite wonderful. The rooms are neat and clean. The bar area with a fireplace was a nice cozy place to relax with a drink after a day of sightseeing and shopping. The breakfast buffet was really great - lots of great options plus you can order from the menu. We also loved the ability to fill up our water bottles with spring water.

The room and stay were very nice A bit overpriced as lots of things were closed due to a November off season timing Looked forward to a visit to their lounge for drinks and music We were seated and then without being served 4 songs later we left disappointed

The main focus is on the hotel staff who were amazing, so helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. Fantastic views of the bay from our room (see pics) and the restaurant. The location is a 15 minute walk from Dick Mack's pub, 10 to the harbour and easy to drive to the coast road or Connor Pass. Breakfast was plentiful and superbly cooked, the bar meals were good but if you want a treat then the main restaurant serves some excellent dishes. The swimming pool is great, the gym was a little busy for my liking but a good provision. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Lovely hotel within walking distance from Dingle. Fabulous views of the sea from the room and breakfast area. Breakfast was nice, buffet cereals and cold meats, with cooked-to-order hot breakfast. Would have preferred a hot food buffet so it would be easier get what we wanted. Pool was nice with a steam room and jacuzzi. Also had a complimentary outdoor hottub and sauna in the Spa upstairs with fabulous views over the bay from the hot tub. Overall, a fantastic hotel and would stay here again if in the area.
