The Montenotte Hotel

When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our booking. We booked on the day, but for 270 euros for a room, it was disappointing to arrive to no room and to the confusion. Jess at reception handled it very well and was very helpful. She organised a different room, an apartment, which was pretty basic and was missing the hotel room feel. She was very apologetic and offered us complimentay drinks (2). The bar staff were lovely, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to be served.

A lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Despite being an incredibly busy weekend all of the staff were always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were very good and much appreciated when it just poured down most of one day. Views of Cork from our apartment and especially from the glasshouse bar and the restaurant were wonderful. It was a brilliant place to stay.
