Location, location, location! Wonderful staying so close to the beach ... to just be able to head over the sand berm to get down to the beach. We loved walking on the beach; 15 minutes to Cape Kiwanda and more than an hour South to get away from the crowds. Or we opened the windows or sliding door and watched and listened to the ocean from the comfort of the living room or main bedroom. Nicely remodeled inside with all the main kitchen utensils provided.

We loved walking on the beach; 15 minutes to Cape Kiwanda and more than an hour South to get away from the crowds. Or we opened the windows or sliding door and watched and listened to the ocean from the comfort of the living room or main bedroom. Nicely remodeled inside with all the main kitchen utensils provided.

Last renters failed to clean BBQ. Small garbage can was upside down half full of sand (corrected) large garbage can lid does not secure -rusted. Flood lights by door inoperative. No GFCI on outlet by kitchen sink. I am not trying to run your home down, we had a great stay and your home is very well stock. We loved your home and would rent it again. Thank you

Staying oceanfront is always a treat and this house is no exception. I loved that my kids could run out in front of the house without any safety concerns since the sand dune keeps them well above the ocean waves. The house itself is well stocked. I appreciate that each bedroom has a private bathroom. The beds are decent and shower pressure is great. Some complaints: The lighting is pretty terrible - either extremely bright fluorescent bulbs or too dark. Some additional floor lamps with dimmers would make this home far more welcoming. Each bedroom has an unfinished loft space that you cannot access. Looking up from the primary bedroom, we could see trash bags. And our kids were uncomfortable with the inaccessible spaces in their rooms. This house sure would be more inviting if those spaces were utilized. We did have people walk up and look in our oceanfront windows while we were sitting in the living room and my kids were frustrated at me for having them follow the rules and not hurt the beach grass when we watched so many people climb up and down the "no walk" areas. But can\'t predict people. Overall, a solid place with the potential to be an amazing place.

The steps inside the home are minimal but there are steps down into the property so just be aware if you have heavy luggage or knee issues, there are steps involved. You can see and hear the ocean from the open great room and the master bedroom. Once outside the back patio, there's a dune you must climb in order to view the ocean and then a steep climb down a dune to get to the ocean and coming back up it is a steep climb. The beach is sandy and great for walking, with spectacular views. You can walk down the beach to the Pelican restaurant and pub. The house is comfortable for gathering and well supplied with shampoo, soap, towels, salt, pepper, dishwasher detergent, etc. which was nice. The property shows some wear or could use a deep clean but very functional and relaxing. The town is small and immersive and it's easy to travel up or down the coast to more touristy (and more crowded) areas.The hosts are very thorough in communicating, providing clear directions, and helpful information in the home about restaurants nearby, etc.Sunsets at the property are spectacular and we were fortunate to see sea lions, pelicans, and other wildlife while sitting on the dune. Excellent property located right on the beach in a quaint little coastal community. Loved the idea of the gated community and felt very safe and welcome. Very clean property and relaxing quick visit - would HIGHLY recommend staying!

We had an amazing stay! The beach is literally steps out of the back door. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a great convenience! Very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Over all, the house was great! My only complaint is that the barbecue was really dirty with metal shavings from the brush. Otherwise, the house was clean and neat and right on the beach!

Great views. Quiet spot. Loved seeing whales from the couch or the first bedroom. Had an issue that the host quickly was able to help us with! Plenty of towels and other amenities and a book provided by the hosts for troubleshooting. Been gone two days and already miss the view!!

The views from this home are outstanding. It is an easy walk to town on the beach or on the road. The owner was very responsive. I had a couple of questions when I got to the house and she got back to me right away. It was nice to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. The few things that could be improved are a good cleaning in the kitchen. Cooking utensils and pans were put away that had not been cleaned and new pillows would be nice. The bed on the left upstairs has a pretty big sink hole in it and it is very squeaky. Based on the responsiveness of the owner, I do believe pride is taken in the home and again the views can’t be beat

The house was too expensive for what you get. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable, kitchen stocked with dated and sometimes dirty stuff, appliances don't work properly, shower leaked all over floor...etc... The view and locations were outstanding, though.

The location was perfect and the house size was great for our family. We were a bit confused on the bonfire because we saw groups doing their fire on the end of the high dune because near the ocean was just too far and way to close to water. We weren’t sure what to do based on the strict instructions of the house so we missed out on doing this during our stay. Also, the accommodation was great, but we did have to do our own cleaning when we got there because there was sand and food under the couch. We also had to figure out the TV because a cord was undone from the back. We got it figured out by the middle of our stay. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and the views were spectacular!

We had a blast here. Place was perfect, clean, the beach is right there. Hearing the sound of the ocean was all you need. You can walk everywhere. Will stay here again. Small town vibe as well

This property does not live up to the presentation. The second and third bedroom are very small and difficult to move around. The ocean view from the living room and kitchen is blocked by a 7 foot sand dune along the entire beach. If you move the plastic chairs to the top of the sand dune the view is spectacular. We were fortunate with great weather to accomplish this.

We love Kiwanda shores! This home was right on the sand! It was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom! We enjoyed putting the lounge chairs on the sand to sit and enjoy the beautiful view! Thanks!

Everything was as advertised. When we called the owner while at the property to ask a question about the dishwasher, we never received a response though. We enjoyed our stay very much. The dune almost reaches the living room. For those not physically fit to climb up a very steep dune, access to and from the beach could be a problem.

This beach house was beautiful. We loved staying at this house. It's great to have such a beautiful beach view and sand right outside your windows. We enjoyed the downtown Pacific City restaurants. I was able to have a weeks worth of groceries delivered on Instacart from the Safeway in Lincoln City. I have a very restrictive diet for my health and a picky toddler so we needed more food options. The only negative was the extra bedroom beds were extremely hard, very squeeky and had a huge dip. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. Overall we loved our location and had a great time makings wonderful memories.

The views from this home are outstanding. It is an easy walk to town on the beach or on the road. The owner was very responsive. I had a couple of questions when I got to the house and she got back to me right away. It was nice to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. The few things that could be improved are a good cleaning in the kitchen. Cooking utensils and pans were put away that had not been cleaned and new pillows would be nice. The bed on the left upstairs has a pretty big sink hole in it and it is very squeaky. Based on the responsiveness of the owner, I do believe pride is taken in the home and again the views can’t be beat

Everything was as advertised. When we called the owner while at the property to ask a question about the dishwasher, we never received a response though. We enjoyed our stay very much. The dune almost reaches the living room. For those not physically fit to climb up a very steep dune, access to and from the beach could be a problem.

The steps inside the home are minimal but there are steps down into the property so just be aware if you have heavy luggage or knee issues, there are steps involved. Once outside the back patio, there's a dune you must climb in order to view the ocean and then a steep climb down a dune to get to the ocean and coming back up it is a steep climb. The house is comfortable for gathering and well supplied with shampoo, soap, towels, salt, pepper, dishwasher detergent, etc. which was nice. The property shows some wear or could use a deep clean but very functional and relaxing. Great views. Quiet spot. Loved seeing whales from the couch or the first bedroom. Had an issue that the host quickly was able to help us with! Plenty of towels and other amenities and a book provided by the hosts for troubleshooting. Been gone two days and already miss the view!!

This house is a perfect way to enjoy Pacific City and the beautiful Oregon coast. The owners are lovely and easy to communicate with and the beach access is unparalled. One of my favorite places to get out of the hustle and bustle and relax.

We loved walking on the beach; 15 minutes to Cape Kiwanda and more than an hour South to get away from the crowds. Or we opened the windows or sliding door and watched and listened to the ocean from the comfort of the living room or main bedroom. Nicely remodeled inside with all the main kitchen utensils provided.

This property does not live up to the presentation. The second and third bedroom are very small and difficult to move around. The ocean view from the living room and kitchen is blocked by a 7 foot sand dune along the entire beach. If you move the plastic chairs to the top of the sand dune the view is spectacular. We were fortunate with great weather to accomplish this.

The location of this home was perfect for us. We enjoyed what felt like endless stretches of beach. Seeing and hearing the waves from inside the house was such a treat! One family member is hyper-allergic to poison oak. Since this home is right on the sand with only beach grass and a couple other plants around, we were all able to fully enjoy the coast without fear of coming into contact wth poison oak on the property. Thank you for the perfect beach vacation experience!

This was a great house for our family with an awesome location on the beach where our kids could just walk out the door and play. It’s close enough that you can walk on the beach down to Pelican Brewery and other restaurants. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! The beach is literally steps out of the back door. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a great convenience! Very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a weekend getaway!

The views are spectacular and the access to the beach was perfect. Each of the rooms has their own bathroom so that was great, too. The washer and dryer did have mold so we had to run a cycle to clean itself out prior to our personal use.

The home is in a gated community, the neighbors were few and far between but super friendly!Layout of the home is really smart, furniture and linens all top notch. Everything is provided for you, in excess. Even little details like ziplock bags, coffee filters, and dryer sheets are provided - and as a bonus there’s tons of everything so you don’t feel like you’re rationing your 2 dishwasher tabs ;) All of the pots, pans, oyster shuckers, pitchers, & blenders are provided! The location is perfection- it’s a perfectly small beach town with no silly tourist traps. Good food and coffee shops but nothing crazy. My family (myself, my husband, and kiddos - 2 and 7, plus my mom) could not have been happier here and would love to return again for another stay! 10/10 recommend.

Walking in the first thing you see is a view of the best ocean and big beautiful rock coming out of the ocean. The view is the best view I have ever seen on an ocean properly. The house itself is very pretty, plenty of room for a family dinner and to have your own space if you wanna get away for a little time to yourself. plenty of dishes, pots, pans and anything you could want to cook a meal with. The location was an easy 30 to 40 minute drive to visit other small beachside towns. I always appreciate a host that provides the essentials including coffee, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Check in was seamless. If we come back to this area, I will definitely stay here again.
